We came for a Sunday Roast and it was divine. Despite being very busy inside the food came quickly and was piping hot. The roast was well balanced with appropriate portions of each element. The meat was amazing though, with our table getting a variety I couldn’t recommend one more than the other as they were all so good. The gravy was thick and rich and they were happy to offer more when asked (not necessarily needed however). The roast dinner was very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly and nice as well. We arrived having not booked and the staff were incredibly accommodating but if you’re planning on coming, I would recommend booking before hand.
A truly memorable 60th wedding anniversary lunch for my parents! We had 27 guests, and the restaurant exceeded all expectations. The surprise was perfectly executed, with beautiful decorations provided by the staff. The set menu was delicious and catered to everyone's tastes. The service was exceptional, and we all felt incredibly well looked after. Highly recommend!
Really enjoy coming here to eat. Service was a little slow getting started, as there seemed to be one lad on duty doing everything bar the cooking! However, he coped brilliantly and our food arrived in good time and was excellent.
We held a post-funeral gathering at The Cromwell Arms. The area we reserved was nicely furnished and well arranged. We ordered a sandwich buffet, cake and tea/coffee. All very lovely. There was ample parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would happily recommend.
