We stumbled across this little gem looking for somewhere to have some afternoon tea and cake. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome, we ordered a BLT sandwich for me and some caramel shortbread each with tea. It was lovely sitting out in the sunshine! My BLT was really tasty, and seemed to be freshly made, and came with a really generous portion of seasoned fries and salad. I finished it all, including the caramel shortbread! It was a perfect ending to our afternoon out together!
A great little find. Very tasty food. Superbly cooked. The crispy bacon is just how I like it and the cherry tomatoes. Ummm ummm
We visited for brunch today and were not disappointed! The poached eggs were nothing short of exceptional, and the bacon was outstanding. We had the full English and avocado, egg and bacon on toast dishes. The sourdough bread was also a joy. Staff were friendly, and the weather was nice, which gave us the chance to sit outside in the garden. Highly recommended, and we will be back!
Booked a baby shower brunch at this lovely café - Ziggy and the team were amazing! They set up decorations for us, provided complementary non-alcoholic drinks, and were just generally so helpful and friendly. Ziggy even bought a gift for the mother-to-be. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in booking a similar event :)
We went for Breakfast. A full English & the vegan option (no vegetarian) The food was vey tasty! Unfortunately the egg was hard. This was my only gripe. Could maybe have added another slice of toast as it was only a small slice of sourdough. The only other issue which seems to be quite common is the vegan breakfast is always more expensive. £32 for breakfast and 2 coffees. Glad I tried it but unfortunately wont be returning. Good Luck.
