Always top food and great service personal service. Probably my favourite pub in Cheadle and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
I was in the area visiting family. The red lion came highly recommended and didn't fail us. The food was lovely, and there was plenty of choice. From meeting us at the door, the staff were first class and attended our every need, and making a fuss over my 5 year old granddaughter. It got a little noisy at times, but you should expect this when it's such a busy pub. I'd never been before, but will certainly come again
The food here was great - high quality pub options done really well. There were a few decent vegetarian and vegan options and universally popular offerings on the kids menu. There were some good ales on tap and staff were very friendly and attentive. We hadn't even noticed this place before but will definitely be back!
Really nice, cosy little pub. The food was lovely. It was a really nice place to meet friends for a catch up. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I will definitely be going again.
