Staff are lovely, food and cocktails always 10/10, portion sizes are huge, never disappointed
Lived in Tyldesley for many years and whilst I’ve had a few drinks here today was the first time I’d eaten. I had a mixed grill and it was fantastic. The main part of the meal filled a large plate and there was a bowl of home made proper chips on the side. The meat was cooked perfectly. The only disappointment was that it had taken me so long to eat here!
Visited today food was exceptionally, good old fashioned pub grub, atmosphere was chilled and very relaxed, camaraderie fantastic. Been a few times now and never disappointed with the food and atmosphere 👌 ✨️
Great traditional old pub. Lovely food. Very nice staff. Loads of TV,s for live sport. Could do with a bit of a refurb and doesn't have its own carpark but will definitely be going again😃😃😃👍👍
Me and my son went in on 22/01/2025, my son had been going on and on at me to try the steak and ale pie, he had been raving about it, so, in we went, and I must say I wasn't disappointed, it was absolutely beautiful, best pie I've ever eaten, the chips were to die for, good selection of vegetables and the gravy was bloody gorgeous, the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and friendly, I've lived in tyldesley over 30 years, first time in here, certainly won't be my last, the food, the price, the staff, 10/10, a gem in this little town 👍
