It’s a sweet spot! A coffee and bakery spot with ambience, flavor, friendly service, and well priced delicious beverages and pastries. This corner spot is where to get your morning coffee to go. Or linger for a bit as the owner James has done a fantastic job creating a relaxed, beautiful interior on a busy street. Support your small, local biz!

I arrived here flustered from the rain after a long day, and got the loveliest of welcomes from the staff at 21 Grams Clapham. They were very quick with their recommendations for coffee beans based on my preferences, and I was delighted by their vegan options. I thoroughly enjoyed their vegan sausage rolls and cakes! They were kind enough to give me a drink on the house (as I probably I looked like I needed it), and I left with the best of impressions for the people there. Thank you 21 Grams! I will definitely return!

One of my favorite coffee place in Clapham Common!! ☕️ It’s a pretty much a take-away only coffee shop, so that’s the only downsidez But their coffee is literally amazing !!!! 👍🏼👏🏻

Well worth the trip from Sutton. Well executed flatwhite. Took some beans as well. That’s pretty much what they do. If you want something to go with it, there are a few shops nearby.

Excellent flat white - smooth but not over milky and chocolatey coffee flavour. (I’m a trained barista so hard to impress) Plus a perfect Pastel de Nata. Delicate crumbly pastry with gloopy fresh vanilla ish custard. Both served by clean, smart amiable barista at a reasonable price (take note on all fronts Dulwich Picture Gallery café). Sat in the sunshine on Clapham Common to consume them sloooowly. Mmm Then cheekily nipped back to use the toilet, which was also clean & amiable 😀

The best cannolis I’ve tried anywhere in London. The pastry/biscuit part has a unique nutty/caramelised texture and you get a very generous amount of the ricotta filling. I love them. The lady who works there is always very friendly too. It feels like a really relaxed place to spend time.

It’s the first time visiting this great coffee shop in Clapham after a recommendation from a friend. Great coffee and I had a Brie and bacon ciabatta which was great and very filling! I treated myself to a lotus biscoff muffnut to-go. I’ll be back again soon. Highly recommend, lovely customer service.

Cafe Parisienne

225 Lavender Hill, London SW11 1JR, UK | Cafe
P: 020 7924 5523

Rating: 4.8 (697) Price Level:

LOVE Cafe Parisienne, this is one of those breakfast spots where you just want to go on a rainy day, on a sunny day, on a snowy day even! The food was literally the all you could ask for from a traditional English breakfast spot comfort food, portions are great, prices are very reasonable. They also arrive within minutes of the order being taken. The owner was super friendly, genuinely kind to people. Customer service was great, I saw someone who wasn’t sure if they liked the dish and the owner immediately offered to take back the entire dish for and asked them to order anything else they like!

After moving house to Clapham two days ago we discovered this gem nearby for Sunday breakfast. Great looking cafe, outside and in with friendly, attentive staff. Nice decor with wide menu choice - we ordered eggs on sourdough with avocado and feta and sausage on the side. Waffles with eggs and bacon. Super hot coffee and tea. Food arrived looking very delicious! Glass counter at the back of the cafe contains plain and filled croissants along with pastries. 100 per cent recommend.

This place is just around the corner from the big Sainsbury’s and is slightly off the main part of Clapham. The rain has just stopped and as the staff said there was a rush of customers all in at the same time including us which contributed to quite a long waiting time to be served the food, but the staff members were working very hard to serve the rush of customers. The inside is quite large and spacious which you don’t think from outside. The highlight was definitely food. Whilst the dish itself is simple, each item on the full breakfast was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. I’d definitely go back. The only comment is that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom which should be checked regularly.

It’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself returning to again and again, not just for the excellent coffee, but for the welcoming atmosphere and great service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start their day right or take a much-needed coffee break!

Hopper Coffee

Ground floor, shop, 6 Landor Rd, London SW9 9PP, UK | Coffee Shop
P: Not available

Rating: 4.7 (297) Price Level:

This place is probably serving the best breakfast in South London. The space is clean, buzzing with energy and good coffee ( I’m Italian, from Naples, and I can recognise a great coffee when I taste or smell one), and serving the nicest breakfast in the most pleasant environment. The service is very good and friendly, they treat everybody as if they are long lost friends waiting to catch up since ages, and the quality of their Eggs Royale ( my favourite breakfast thing to order ) is outstanding. They also serve a very good full English breakfast and some variations they you can build up as you please. The avocado on toast is also really good, the wu as lot of everything they cook is just beyond your average breakfast spot. Special mention also to the sausage rolls, if they are not sold out you must get whatever they have on display they are a cut above any other sausage roll you tasted before. Lastly, even the choice of waters is good with San Pellegrino and Evian, 2 of my all time favourites. During the weekend there is always a queue, so I suggest either to go early or late or to ho midweek when it is still busy but there are no long queues.

Every visit here is great thanks to the super cool and welcoming team. The food is decently priced and ranges from good to super good, depending on what you order. The seating is limited, but they have made the most of the space! And ample plugs make it a great spot to relax and get some work done. The takeaway window is a standout feature—quick, convenient, and run by staff with the finesse of high-end bartenders. Highly recommended for both dine-in and takeaway experiences!

Really aesthetically pleasing and trendy cafe, rooting for it as it’s an independent cafe but unfortunately some of the dishes were a bit lacking in execution for the price point! The menu is really varied and exciting- a lot of interesting flavours on show that didn’t fully shine through. Couldn’t really taste the burnt better in the turkish eggs and for an extra £3.50 I was hoping for fresh chorizo not slices. The full wild was £16 which is quite expensive for a full English breakfast. The salmon hash was delicious but wish salmon was a bit more fresh. Overall, would definitely go again to support an independent business and also because of the exciting menu! Hopefully it gets better and better.
