We are regular customers here for the 1kg bags of Daterra Sunrise beans for our espresso machine at home. It's great coffee, good value if you're buying the big bags, and being able to pick it up saves on postage. Good selection of other coffees available as beans or ground, and a really good, if pricey, Swiss water method decaffeinated blend. The in-store café definitely deserves a mention too as the friendly staff also do really good coffee using Daterra or the blend of the month. Wide range of syrups if that's your thing, and a discount if you bring your own reusable cup. Lots of other interesting teas available, and more coffee and tea making accessories than you'll need in a lifetime. All this, just a short hop from the big roundabout in Blaydon - well worth a visit if you haven't tried it.

Bought a christmas selection of coffee as a gift. Recipient delighted had a cuppa with them and the difference from the usual brands is astounding. Will buy again.

Went here for the first time today in readiness of our new coffee machine arriving. Such a wide range of coffee beans and tea. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, will definitely be back once we’ve tried our beans and chosen a favourite.

Great for good coffee ground and beans. The staff have always helped with selection and the shop itself is well thought out with produce all around to select. Word of warning if going for a sit in be prepared to take out as it can get busy fast with limited seating.

Know the Chef here so we had to give it a go. Walked in and the place is so lovely & fresh. Staff were super friendly. We had the breakfast burger & chicken tikka flatbread. Absolutely amazing flavours & portions. Would of got a picture of the flatbread but our little girl dug straight in 😂

Fed & Watered had been on my list for some time, and whilst travelling back from Northumberland, I dropped in for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. A friendly welcome, great coffee, and an excellent "Bonny Prince Benedict" cooked to perfection 👌 Would not hesitate in recommending. Really great quality produce. Gorgeous cafe bar situated on Newcastle quayside near the business park. There's everything to like about this place - the service was great and the food top notch! I had a hazelnut mousse ball for dessert (that's not what it's called but that's what it was) and I think it's the best dessert I've ever had! I'd highly recommend that and the pasta ariabatta! They do a lovely mocha too if you fancy a take out! Check the place out - you'll not be disappointed.

👤Staff are always friendly, kind and happy to have a chat with you. ⏱️Service time is good and food always tastes fresh. 💰£15-20/pp. ✅ I have become somewhat of a regular due to the great staff and beautifully authentic food. ⭐️They offer take out options do you are on the go or can’t find a table. ❤️Would recommend as a nice date spot with a partner or friend, or as a nice meal out. Make sure to book a table so you aren’t disappointed!

We loved our experience at Liosi’s Sicilian Cafe Bar 🥪 🚤 Just by the River Tyne, it makes for a perfect location for a cuppa, lovely pastries, and amazing Sandwiches! There were so many patrons coming just for sandwich takeaways - a testament to how good it is. We ordered a vegetarian panini - delicious 🔥 no frills - well made. We also had a lovely Penne Arrabiata - spicy and rich. This is a dog friendly location. Definitely recommended, especially if you’re looking for chill cafe vibes facing the river 😃

Visited for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us. Staff were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of their menu. We sat outside, and it was lovely. My husband said the meatball sandwich was the best he had eaten. All our food was fantastic.

First time visiting today, walked in for a table of 2. We managed to get a table straight away being seated by a very friendly member of staff. We both ordered the full English and wow what a breakfast, everything was cooked to perfection and a great portion to boot, coffee tasted great too! Would definitely recommend can’t wait for the next visit

First time trying this place and we’re surprised that we only found out about it on instagram! Absolutely amazing customer service, so friendly and polite! Took our nephew along to breakfast and there was a quiet room with sofas and toys which he loved. The two lovely ladies who served us were so welcoming and the food and drinks were delicious and very well presented! I’m 100% sure we will be back soon. Reasonable prices too. Definitely would recommend

Super nice staff, and the food was amazing! The eggs royal were perfectly poached and all-round great, while the lunch main we got was a special on the menu and was also really good and a generous portion. It’s a cute spot, cosy on the inside, and sitting outside can be quite nice if it’s warm. There are also alternative milks, including oat milk, which is great.

What a find! This cafe isn't easy to find or get into... But worth the effort. I had the New Yorker ..hot fresh pastrami, cheese, mustard... Served on grilled sourdough, with a gorgeous salad, coleslaw and luxury crisps. Delicious. I'm going back as soon as I can!

Despite having lived in Winlaton for 15 years ( all my life!) this is the first time we have tried Kitchen Kuzzins… and my goodness what a fantastic little cafe! Such a warm environment! Lovely welcome, staff are lovely…. And the breakfasts are amazing !

Cracking veggie breakfast, probably the best veggie breakfast selection I’ve seen so far in Newcastle. Would highly recommend. Plenty of other vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The venue is really quirky, and it’s obviously very popular so get there a bit before you want to eat, as you’re likely be queueing to get in. Obviously a good sign that it’s a well known place for good food.

Well, where do I start!! I often go to this area to eat, I'd never heard of this place until my daughter and Son in law invited me for breakfast today. It's quite typical and fitting with its location. As I say, I've visited other eateries in the area. This place delivered on all fronts. A warm and friendly welcome, very efficient service (it's quite small, so you only get in if you're lucky enough to arrive at the right time). The breakfast lived up to the billing and some!!! I couldn't eat it all as its size outweighed any thing I've ever experienced, I'm sorry I can't reveal the cost because I didn't ask, when I got the bill for the 4 of us I just paid as it was definitely worth whatever they charge. The team of staff didn't disturb us unnecessarily even though there were people waiting for seats. If you're anything like me, you know when it's time to get up and make way for others. I would definitely recommend a visit but make sure your appetite is ready for the feast to come.

What an incredible little café! I'm a bit of a coffee snob these days so thought I'd come here as I'd heard their coffee was excellent, and they were right!! The coffee was to die for, fruity but not too much and was super balanced in acidity with no bitterness whatsoever! Oh, and the pan au chocolate was delicious too. The staff were really friendly and kind! ☺️ Will definitely come back again, even on the regular!

Wanted to grab a nice coffee before leaving Newcastle. Was a little worried given its proximity to the station, that it wouldnt be great but I was pleasantly surprised. Pour over was exceptional, will definitely come back.

Spontaneous visit. Genuinely glad we came. The owner/server was unbelievably kind & really welcoming. Considering they where on their own they had full English & vegetarian full English made to perfection & quickly. We didn't mind waiting though as it was quiet, the atmosphere with classical music in the background was something different but much enjoyed! We ended up giving the owner/server a large tip as they couldn't have been any more accomodating. I highly recommend this place - if you want a relaxed breakfast please take a trip to this wonderful cafe you honestly won't regret it. Will be going back again & again.

Excellent place at the beach. Parking can be limited but plenty seats and tables inside. Food was way above what I was expecting and service from the lady was above and beyond what you normally get at most places. Food was perfectly cooked and quality of ingredients was high. They also have a toilet here as well. Would definitely come back again. Well run and clean place.

We’ve just had another fortnight at Druridge Bay and so visiting The Drift Cafe was a regular activity. As usual it was fantastic, the food is excellent, the staff so warm and friendly we can’t fault it. To the people giving bad reviews based on the price, you really need to get out more as their prices are normal and reasonable. To the people giving bad reviews based on surly and unfriendly staff, I’m afraid that says more about you than it does about them. You get what you project perhaps if you go in there a little less demanding and entitled people would be friendlier to you, think about it.

Tried Aidan’s Kitchen today for the first time and we simply loved it! Everything we tried was delicious and you could taste the quality ingredients! The amount of sourdough bread in the plate that I ordered (eggs on toast) was insane but it was so delicious that I finished it! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and I quote my husband “the bacon sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had”. The coffee was also decent! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere quite chill and laid back. We will definitely be back! Totally recommended!

Very nice place where we had breakfast. We had several stacks of pancakes and Butterbean and Chorizo ​​Cassoulet. Very generous portions! Friendly staff who laughed at our portions and asked if we were sure. At that time, we were.... Reservations recommended, it can be completely full and completely empty within 5 minutes.
