We are regular customers here for the 1kg bags of Daterra Sunrise beans for our espresso machine at home. It's great coffee, good value if you're buying the big bags, and being able to pick it up saves on postage. Good selection of other coffees available as beans or ground, and a really good, if pricey, Swiss water method decaffeinated blend. The in-store café definitely deserves a mention too as the friendly staff also do really good coffee using Daterra or the blend of the month. Wide range of syrups if that's your thing, and a discount if you bring your own reusable cup. Lots of other interesting teas available, and more coffee and tea making accessories than you'll need in a lifetime. All this, just a short hop from the big roundabout in Blaydon - well worth a visit if you haven't tried it.

Great for good coffee ground and beans. The staff have always helped with selection and the shop itself is well thought out with produce all around to select. Word of warning if going for a sit in be prepared to take out as it can get busy fast with limited seating.

Bought a christmas selection of coffee as a gift. Recipient delighted had a cuppa with them and the difference from the usual brands is astounding. Will buy again.

Fed & Watered had been on my list for some time, and whilst travelling back from Northumberland, I dropped in for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. A friendly welcome, great coffee, and an excellent "Bonny Prince Benedict" cooked to perfection 👌 Would not hesitate in recommending. Really great quality produce. It was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Thank you 😋

We loved our experience at Liosi’s Sicilian Cafe Bar 🥪 🚤 Just by the River Tyne, it makes for a perfect location for a cuppa, lovely pastries, and amazing Sandwiches! There were so many patrons coming just for sandwich takeaways - a testament to how good it is. We ordered a vegetarian panini - delicious 🔥 no frills - well made. We also had a lovely Penne Arrabiata - spicy and rich. This is a dog friendly location. Definitely recommended, especially if you’re looking for chill cafe vibes facing the river 😃

Visited for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us. Staff were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of their menu. We sat outside, and it was lovely. My husband said the meatball sandwich was the best he had eaten. All our food was fantastic.

What a find! This cafe isn't easy to find or get into... But worth the effort. I had the New Yorker ..hot fresh pastrami, cheese, mustard... Served on grilled sourdough, with a gorgeous salad, coleslaw and luxury crisps. Delicious. I'm going back as soon as I can!

First time trying this place and we’re surprised that we only found out about it on instagram! Absolutely amazing customer service, so friendly and polite! Took our nephew along to breakfast and there was a quiet room with sofas and toys which he loved. The two lovely ladies who served us were so welcoming and the food and drinks were delicious and very well presented! I’m 100% sure we will be back soon. Reasonable prices too. Definitely would recommend

Excellent breakfast menu with vegetarian and gluten free options. Dogs aren’t allowed inside but there is seating available outside for when the weather permits.

Super nice staff, and the food was amazing! The eggs royal were perfectly poached and all-round great, while the lunch main we got was a special on the menu and was also really good and a generous portion. It’s a cute spot, cosy on the inside, and sitting outside can be quite nice if it’s warm. There are also alternative milks, including oat milk, which is great.

The best cafe in Newcastle. Although can get very very busy so plan ahead and get there early if you don't want to wait outside in the cold! Fantastic coffee and food however so definitely worth the wait!

Cracking veggie breakfast, probably the best veggie breakfast selection I’ve seen so far in Newcastle. Would highly recommend. Plenty of other vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The venue is really quirky, and it’s obviously very popular so get there a bit before you want to eat, as you’re likely be queueing to get in. Obviously a good sign that it’s a well known place for good food.

A gem of a place! Always busy but don’t let a short wait put you off. Huge menu with something for everyone! The Business (full English with extras) is enough to feed 3! Fantastic value and super tasty. Coffee’s pretty good too.

We’ve just had another fortnight at Druridge Bay and so visiting The Drift Cafe was a regular activity. As usual it was fantastic, the food is excellent, the staff so warm and friendly we can’t fault it. To the people giving bad reviews based on the price, you really need to get out more as their prices are normal and reasonable. To the people giving bad reviews based on surly and unfriendly staff, I’m afraid that says more about you than it does about them. You get what you project perhaps if you go in there a little less demanding and entitled people would be friendlier to you, think about it.

First time coming here, and it certainly won't be the last. The food is beautiful and the service is faultless from the young girl who took our order who was so friendly and professinal to the waiter Ian. Ian was very friendly and polite. Excellent place at the beach. Parking can be limited but plenty seats and tables inside. Food was way above what I was expecting and service from the lady was above and beyond what you normally get at most places. Food was perfectly cooked and quality of ingredients was high. They also have a toilet here as well. Would definitely come back again. Well run and clean place.

What an incredible little café! I'm a bit of a coffee snob these days so thought I'd come here as I'd heard their coffee was excellent, and they were right!! The coffee was to die for, fruity but not too much and was super balanced in acidity with no bitterness whatsoever! Oh, and the pan au chocolate was delicious too. The staff were really friendly and kind! ☺️ Will definitely come back again, even on the regular!

Wanted to grab a nice coffee before leaving Newcastle. Was a little worried given its proximity to the station, that it wouldnt be great but I was pleasantly surprised. Pour over was exceptional, will definitely come back.

Lovely welcome, happy friendly staff- lovely lady and her young son. My son and I had a full English breakfast each and it was lovely, we both said we would definitely return.

Spontaneous visit. Genuinely glad we came. The owner/server was unbelievably kind & really welcoming. Considering they where on their own they had full English & vegetarian full English made to perfection & quickly. We didn't mind waiting though as it was quiet, the atmosphere with classical music in the background was something different but much enjoyed! We ended up giving the owner/server a large tip as they couldn't have been any more accomodating. I highly recommend this place - if you want a relaxed breakfast please take a trip to this wonderful cafe you honestly won't regret it. Will be going back again & again.

The food is class and the service is even better. Proper canny staff. Slowly working my way through the whole menu. Steak & eggs are a favourite and the pancakes are unmatched!

Very nice place where we had breakfast. We had several stacks of pancakes and Butterbean and Chorizo ​​Cassoulet. Very generous portions! Friendly staff who laughed at our portions and asked if we were sure. At that time, we were.... Reservations recommended, it can be completely full and completely empty within 5 minutes. And you don't want to miss this!

Visited for the first time today, was easy to find via Google maps and theres a big free car park (mind the pot holes!) The cafe had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were all friendly. We got seated straight away and the place looked spotless. our food came quickly and we all enjoyed what we had ordered. 3 hot meals&3 drinks for just under £30 which I thought was fairly priced for the portion sizes. Dog friendly seating outside the cafe too which is lovely and it'll be nice on a sunny day. We will visit again for sure

We chose to eat here on Sunday 17th March because it was open and pretty close to where we live. I chose the medium breakfast which for the price was fine. It was piping hot and we didn’t have to wait long to be served. Pleasant member of staff who served us. Payment was taken before food was served. I’d go here again. It’s not fancy, but it does the job .

Called in here for breakfast, the food was nice enough - I think my breakfast could have done with something else, maybe hash browns, the egg yolks were hard which spoilt it for me. The Mrs got poached eggs on toast but it wasn't very hot, though her eggs were runny. Coffee was nice. Car park was rough and ready. Desserts looked nice.
