After recovering from nearly two years of severe depression due to a traumatic experience, my severely matted hair needed to be sorted out. I have Afro hair and felt so embarrassed and ashamed to let anyone see the condition my hair was in. Mel and her team are just miracle workers and angels in disguise! I walked in anxious and was immediately welcomed with all negative emotions left at the door. After going back to my hometown for 11 years (with a few trial and errors at other Manchester salons) I was so happy to come across this salon. I’ve been coming here for a year now for my regular treatment and trim. The ladies are so friendly and welcoming. I have loose curl Afro type and Mel and Mia work their magic every time. I went here for the first time today, Mel was my stylist but another lovely lady washed my hair. I hadn't had my hair cut in 18 months and I had a bad experience at a different salon. They had me at ease, had a laugh, gave me a drink, it was so lovely, after feeling so nervous leading up to the appointment.
