So happy with the service at this salon. Especially Zara who cut and styled my hair. She did an excellent job, very happy and will not go anywhere else in the future

Just had THE best haircut of my life with Zara! She was so lovely and it was clear straight away that she knows loads about hair. She shared her thoughts with me when I wasn't sure what I wanted and I completely trusted her judgement. I've been coming to HOF Urmston for several years and have had many different hairdressers and I have only ever had good experiences!

Awful experience, bad communication, poor service. I tried to reach the owner 5 times so far, one of them was via email. I still wasn’t contacted, so leaving my feedback/email here for people to decide whether it is worth your money, time and feelings! I wasn’t planning to write an email, I would usually just leave a feedback on Google, however I believe you are a small business and I don’t want to take it out before speaking to you directly. I had an appointment at Urmston branch on Thursday at 8pm with Georgia. I think I realised Georgia is still learning only when another specialist came over to help and speed up (we were a bit behind 1h appointment). I am happy for anyone to learn, everyone been there and done that, however I slept this over and realised I am completely unhappy with my haircut. I will attach my initial reference I provided to Georgia and later another lady (apologies, we didn’t introduce each other, I don’t know the name) and my result after cut before I said it is not how it supposed to look like and the final result. Now it feels like my hair was just cut with an ax on different lengths.. I had lots of haircuts during my life and I know that even if when specialist says in the beginning of the appointment “it will look choppy “, they will still cut it through, so the hair looks like one shape, not chopped in pieces..maybe just with bigger distance between front and back strands. Also, I have checked two sides today at home to triple check if that’s just me or there is an actual problem. I will attach a picture, there is a good 2cm difference. Please could we do something about it? I am happy to come over to Altrincham branch to more experienced specialist to redo this one (at this point I will be happy even with the normal straight line cut) or get a full refund so I can go to another place to have it done. Please let me know as soon as possible, I feel so much opposite of beautiful now. It’s my mum’s birthday tomorrow and I don’t know how I will have to hide this.. ——- I came here because of my friend’s recommendation. Sad. UPDATE: I was contacted by owner and had another appointment to fix the problem, which was much better than the previous one. Another appointment was with Abbie in Altrincham branch. Have to mention - an owner and Abbie personally tried to do everything possible to get it fixed for me and I think it is very important for the business! Initially I put one star, however I will change it to four now. Thank you Robert and Abbie for your support and compassion!

Had a wash cut and blow dry with Zara. Highly recommend!! She's done the most amazing job on my hair! And a fabulous salon. Annie is equally as fabulous! She cuts both my boys long hair and is always patient and attentive and I wouldn't take them to anyone else.

Absolutely incredible experience! I cannot recommend this highly enough! It was my first time at the salon and definitely won’t be my last! Annie gave me full head highlights and lowlights with a root smudge, and she also cut me a new style too. She also gave helpful advice when I wasn’t 100% on what exactly I was asking for. She was absolutely brilliant - super attentive and friendly - and the result is even better than I was expecting. I will certainly be returning 💚.
