Sharing because of the awful troll review I’ve just seen on insta stories! I started coming to Harpers in April 2022 and will be going for many, many years to come. Emmy has always been polite, chatty and kind to me. Always offering a drink top up, asking if I’d like the heater or fan on when I’m hot or cold, even moving me upstairs where nobody else was sat when I was having a bad day one time. I have never, ever received such incredible, empathetic customer service elsewhere in my life and will never forget the care I received that day. I was made to feel like an actual human being, when so many other salons treat you like you’re just another customer that pays them money. I also love how Emmy does my hair (obviously). The advice she gives on products, too. Not too pushy with sales, just genuine recommendations on what will work and what won’t. That’s always nice in a salon. All the other ladies in the salon are friendly and welcoming, as well. I once attended an appointment with my little dog and he was thoroughly entertained and doted on by the staff. I would recommend anyone to Harpers. Unfortunately I live in Chesterfield so most people I know go more local but when my daughter is old enough she will be coming with me to Harpers so that’s one extra customer I can make sure enters their doors, and I know she will be welcomed with kind, friendly faces just like I always have been :-) Ignore the troll review, some idiots have very sad lives they have to leave fake reviews under different names to make them feel better for a few minutes. Cowards!

Just come back from my lovely slice of heaven hair appointment, My hair fairy godmother Emmy was as brilliant as ever. She is welcoming, friendly and her hair knowledge is second to none. When I first came to Emmy my hair was so damaged and thin. Now with Emmys care she’s made my hair healthy and the condition incredible. Also purchased some shampoo today from the salon which looking forward to using at home to boost the love and care that goes into my hair at the salon. See you soon Emmy!! Xx

Emmy is such an amazing hairdresser always listens to what I want and just makes it happen for me. She always protects my hair when bleaching it to make sure I still leave with it feeling soft.

Emmy has been doing my hair now for a couple of years after me switching a lot between other places before and never really finding someone who made my hair look and feel as good as Emmy does! The salon gives such a relaxed and friendly vibe which is a nice place to spend over 3 hours there as I have a huge head of foils on each time! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, thanks for being there :)

I cannot rate Marie and her salon highly enough. I have been going to Redd Lifestyle for over 3 years now, and I would not go anywhere else to have my hair done. The salon is clean, friendly and inviting. Marie always makes me feel so welcome, and she is very professional. I trust her completely to colour and style my hair - which is always done to perfection. I have received many compliments on my hair - from friends, family and co-workers alike - and this is down to just how well Marie does it. Prices are reasonable, and the other staff who work there are lovely, too. Tip - I highly recommend the head massage!!

The style of the salon is so refreshing in the sense of it's not your typical decor. The decor is fun and joyful, just like the people who work there! The stylists are all knowledgeable and want to make you feel fabulous every time you leave the chair.

I absolutely love this place! It’s a great salon with a friendly atmosphere. The staff is lovely and very professional. I've been seeing Sami as my stylist for several years now, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else! She always does an amazing job with my hair, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Not only is she a fantastic stylist, but she’s also a lovely person.

Love coming her all the stylist are really friendly. I appreciate that they always take the time to talk to me about what I want to do with my hair no matter how extraordinary. I leave loving my hair every time!

Fabulous friendly & attentive hairdressers with added bonus of beauty salon too who do great treatments.

Myself and my mum have been going to this hairdressers for years now. They are so welcoming, accommodating and generally just lovely ladies. They always make you feel looked after and comfortable which is great if you struggle with social settings. So professional at all times and will give you their honest opinion, I had highlights done by Sally last year and they have grown out seamlessly.

Knowledgable, genuinely lovely staff who take time to understand the needs of your hair and always go the extra mile.. Highly recommend

Fantastic service from Milly during my Luxury Manicure, beautiful results and an enjoyable experience. Epernay is a really nice salon, and one of the perks I found was that they were running on time! I appreciate things don’t always run like clockwork but I do find it irritating when many salons run over and you find you’re sat waiting for your appointment. Fortunately, this wasn’t the case with Epernay, I began my treatment on time and it didn’t feel rushed. Thanks Milly, you’re a great asset to the Epernay Team!

Treated my partner to a pregnancy massage and she loved it...did not dissapoint.

First time visiting & I have re-booked again. I had a cut & blow dry with Poppy & the service was wonderful. Very calm & relaxed atmosphere, had the full hour as stated in the booking, lovely products used & very happy with my finished style. My only criticism is that I wasn’t offered a drink during my visit, which is something I always enjoy when visiting the hairdressers for a pamper.

I booked my little boy in with poppy. I couldn’t recommend her enough she was absolutely brilliant. My little boy has beautiful long hair and poppy was so patient and just outstanding with him. I’ll 100% be going back for future cuts. Thankyou so much poppy x

I went for a dry cut today at there Belper salon. My hair is dry as I'm going through the menopause. The stylist cut it short which is what I wanted. I'm really happy with the result. I thought the staff were very helpful and I enjoyed my visit.

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the fantastic service at Katie Weeds- particularly as our little boy has always been extremely frightened of having his hair cut. We decided to take a chance a few months ago, and brought him to Katie Weeds instead of the children's barbers he went to before; and each time he has become braver and braver. We would especially like to thank Emily. Since Angus has been seeing her for his haircuts, he has come on leaps and bounds. Rather than being frightened of going in, he's now spending the day before telling me he's going to see his friend Emily to have his hair done. She has been so kind and understanding of his nervousness. She always makes sure to shield his neck to prevent itchy hairs from making him uncomfortable- which was always a big part of his dislike- She joins in his chatter about numbers and timetables, and she knows the way to his heart is through bribery with Loveheart sweets! Thankyou Katie Weeds for being an excellent place, and thankyou Emily for making Angus' life just that little bit less scary :) x

I had an amazing experience with poppy the new stylist. My hair feels and looks incredible😍 I love the way she styled it and really listened to what I wanted. She is such a lovely person and made the whole experience feel wonderful! I have rebooked for January to have my hair coloured, we spoke about what I wanted and I truly felt listened to. I had a consultation with Katie Weeds, she was lovely and listened to what I wanted and explained everything in detail and did a skin test. I made an appointment to have my hair done today. My appointment was with Lia H. She was lovely and did a fantastic job. The trainees were brilliant to. Very happy and will definitely be going back. Thank you Ladies! :)
