We had our new bathroom fitted by direct plumbing and I can only describe them as hard working, knowledgeable and meticulous. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand with advice when needed. They were very professional, honest and we as family felt very comfortable while they were working in our home. Cannot recommend enough, they’ve done a superb job.

Moved into a new home last autumn, the boiler was functioning as the house was red hot only problem was I struggled to get enough hot water for a bath - I love me baths. Anyways like most folks when you move its a little expensive and you have to prioritise. I thought I'd get the boiler checked out, so looked for a local plumber found a couple of businesses who offered a couple of solutions. Turns out the boiler was over 15 years old, I wasn't planning on replacing the boiler but Direct Plumbings proposal ticked all the necessary boxes, decent brand of boiler, fantastic price and they could fit me in within a couple of weeks, the cost enabled me to bolt on the Nest upgrade. Decided to commit, Daniel and Josh completed the job without any fuss, tool 1/2 day and I haven't regretted the decision. Direct Plumbing also provide trade-in services, so I got a bit of money back by recycling the old boiler. Which to be fair saved me getting rid of the old unit. Thoroughly recommend Direct Plumbing. Great local business. Oh the Nest Thermostat is mint - control heating remotely, saving loads off my bill.

We were in a real sticky position, no water or heating and the team responded the next morning to diagnose the problem so parts and equipment could be ordered. Within 2 days the new combi was fitted and we were up and running. Great company.

We rang Ian as we wanted a local plumber to put the money back locally to them. We asked his availability to buy and fit a new bar shower fitting for my elderly mum. Ian’s response was quick, squeezing us in and he sorted out a time for the follow day and a few days later it was all done and a new mixer bar installed (the old one was leaking). Martyn is an excellent professional plumber who came out to help with our broken old boiler. Within 24 hours we have a new boiler fully installed and commissioned! Really couldn’t ask for better service. He took us through all the replacement options and warranties and once we had made our decision, the new boiler was delivered 30 minutes later ready for Martyn to fit the next morning. He was on time and kept us up to date on progress. A very tidy, neat job all round. Will certainly be using him and his team for all our future plumbing needs!

Our oil fired boiler had stopped working after being away for a few days. After initial contact I had a callback during which they were able to direct me to getting the boiler working again. No callout needed and they followed up via text with a few other things to check. Very impressed!

Fantastic family company - their work is spot on, they are completely reliable, very friendly and always willing to help out if you have a problem or are worried about something. The other day we smelled oil in the cellar and they came round super promptly to check everything out. Thankfully nothing wrong with our tank or boiler so they suggested we check with our neighbours, and sure enough they had a leak. I recommend them to everyone!

Great service came out same day to a broken boiler which was beyond repair. Said they could fit new next day which I couldn't do but came on second day & fitted new boiler in a day unfortunately there was a problem with the boiler.They came back next morning with a part for the boiler they had taken out of another new boiler. They fitted the part to make sure we had hot water over the weekend I could not have asked for better service Thank you

Lauren and the Team have recently replaced out main bathroom and ensuite and have done an amazing job. Lauren made the whole process so easy. We were sent photos so that we could choose what we wanted. Everything was delivered to the house on the day work started. There was a supplier issue with the bath and this was rectified immediately. The work is of an extremely high standard and the team would leave things as tidy as possible at the end of each day. We noticed a leak in our kitchen so called Hadley to help, he identified it as coming from under the shower in the bathroom above. So he began pricing us up a new shower to fit our taste and budget. Kept us updated once the parts were delivered and organised a time to start the job. Hadley worked hard and efficiently and his workmanship speaks for itself in the photos. Would highly recommend👌
