Moved into a new home last autumn, the boiler was functioning as the house was red hot only problem was I struggled to get enough hot water for a bath - I love me baths. Anyways like most folks when you move its a little expensive and you have to prioritise. I thought I'd get the boiler checked out, so looked for a local plumber found a couple of businesses who offered a couple of solutions. Turns out the boiler was over 15 years old, I wasn't planning on replacing the boiler but Direct Plumbings proposal ticked all the necessary boxes, decent brand of boiler, fantastic price and they could fit me in within a couple of weeks, the cost enabled me to bolt on the Nest upgrade. Decided to commit, Daniel and Josh completed the job without any fuss, tool 1/2 day and I haven't regretted the decision. Direct Plumbing also provide trade-in services, so I got a bit of money back by recycling the old boiler. Which to be fair saved me getting rid of the old unit. Thoroughly recommend Direct Plumbing. Great local business. Oh the Nest Thermostat is mint - control heating remotely, saving loads off my bill.

Dannie and his team were swift, professional and friendly. We were in a real sticky position, no water or heating and the team responded the next morning to diagnose the problem so parts and equipment could be ordered. Within 2 days the new combi was fitted and we were up and running. Great company.

I have used Pride Plumbing Services for a number of plumbing requirements over the last 10 Years. All the team that I have dealt with over the years have been fantastic, thorough, efficient and well priced. Most recently Ant arranged for Jacob to come round and fit a new boiler with a smart thermostat after our old one died. We suffered a leak on our boiler and called Pride for help with diagnosing and repairing. Woodward Plumbing & Heating Ltd., provided a completitive quote, broken down and easily understood. Ian recommended two types of combi-boiler, illustrating the pro's and con's of each and we decided on his advice on the best combi for size of our property. When it came to installation, Ian made sure we were prepped on what to expect, time frames and he was always courteous and a good listener. Arriving as agreed 1st thing, and putting in 2 full days work. The work was completed within the 2 days, to a very high standard, and we were confident to leave Ian & Steve alone in our home to get on with their work. There was zero mess afterward, and I believe Ian & Steve take great pride in the craftmanship and the quality of their work. There are others out there who bamboozle and try it on, we got 3 quotes and Ian Woodward's gave us the confidence to choose his company above the other two, who were ok but didnt instill confidence.
