Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. Words really can't explain how fantastic the service from Kayleigh was throughout the process in both the preparations for, and the day of, our wedding. Kayleigh has an amazing ability to make you feel like the only couple she is working for through the whole experience. She is fantastic at listening to the "vision", sharing ideas and advice, and executing to perfection. Her responsiveness, above all else, was so helpful and reassuring when handling lots of suppliers - it really does make the difference. My only regret is that I don't have another event to use her for! If i could give 6 stars I would.

We are a little late in leaving our review but we had dream days do our catering for our wedding back in July and they did an absolutely fantastic job. During the initial tasting we had the opportunity to try lots of different dishes but the food on the day tasted even better than this. We had lots of compliments from our guests on the food and service they provided and Darminder did an excellent job of organising the whole day, we would highly recommend them!

A massive thank you to Dream Days. The service was professional and the food was delicious. The team were efficient and helpful on the wedding day; the service was impeccable. All of the guests loved the food! Darminder was on top of everything and very organised. Every little detail had been taken care of and all our requests had been fulfilled perfectly. I would highly recommend Dream Days to anyone who requires an amazing catering service for any event.

We are extremely happy to have chosen Dream Days for our wedding reception. Darminder in particular was super helpful and accomodating from the start. Wedding planning at times can be stressful, but we always had nothing to worry about and had full trust in Darminder in terms of overall organisation, and the catering at our reception. He was super helpful when it came to adjusting the menu and ensuring the extra small touches we wanted on the day came to life. On the day itself Darminder was very organised and efficient, everything went to plan, and even with some time changes he made it look seamless. Everyone keeps telling us how good the food and service was, and we highly recommend Darminder and Dream Days to anyone looking for catering and event management!

We have recently had an event at Legion rooms, Dar and his team (especially Nicky) were amazing. The food was great and the service from planning to execution was exceptional- taking out all the stress of the organising. Nothing was too much for them, I would highly recommend for future events. If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

Penelope Weddings were incredible in taking care of our special day. Our wedding day was by the far the most special day of our lives. Penny literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. It was truly a magical day. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. Penny has an eye for attention to detail and we were so thankful to have her see to those details and it played a huge part in making the whole day so special. Penny has this wonderful aura and made us both feel wonderful during the process. She understands both partners wants and needs of what there special day means to them and using this to ensure decisions are made and well thought out and delivered. She has a gift and those who experience her expertise are in very good hands to start their journey in marriage together.

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

Working with the lovely Charlotte is always a great and stress free. She is organised and takes anything in her stride. I have worked with Charlotte on a number of occasions and always look forward to one of her weddings.

Charlotte was just incredible from start to finish helping us on our wedding day. In the build up to the ‘big day’ she provided us with so many helpful tips that we hadn’t yet thought of and dealt with all our suppliers so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On our actual day Charlotte was a superstar and ensured we could relax in full confidence not worrying about a thing. Any hiccups were sorted within moments and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to run our day. Charlotte is not only a professional, keeping everyone and everything running smoothly, but a lovely person who was a joy to have with us on the day. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amber Events organised my 50th birthday party in December. The event was even better than we had dreamt possible. Thanks to Paula and the team we were all able to relax and enjoy an amazing night with family and friends. During the week before the party Paula’s team set up the marquee, stage and bar. We hardly noticed them and were able to leave them to it. Whilst we were at work the garden was transformed into an incredible party zone. Although Paula’s skills are far reaching, she isn’t quite a magician, and so couldn’t stop it from being an extremely windy night. Some of our guests had worried that a party in a marquee might not be the best idea but, with Paula in charge, it absolutely was. Paula and the team made certain that the marquee stayed firmly in place and well heated throughout the evening. Once we were inside the marquee, with the band and DJ performing, and the charming waiting staff and dancing barmen, we had no idea whatsoever that the winds were still raging outside. Nick and Tracy’s food was fabulous and they chatted to all the guests as they prepared and served it. The event was really well staffed with lovely people who knew what they were doing and made things run smoothly. Paula has great ideas and many regular providers who she deals with. Whatever she agrees to do for you will be done to a very high standard. Thank you so much, Paula and all the team, for a fantastic night.

Thank you to Paula and the Amber Events team so much for everything you did to throw me the 40th party of a lifetime! The food and drinks were out of this world, and it’s your team that brought it to another level. So professional, polite, one step ahead- they truly wanted us and all of our guests to have a brilliant night. The music was fantastic- everybody loved Nexus band and DJ Jimmy kept everyone on the dance floor til the end Everything from the tent and all the furniture to the light up numbers and balloon- I think the disco ball sums it all up… I knew I was getting a disco ball but I wasn’t expecting it to be so enormous! Everything was just bigger and better than I could have ever imagined Thank you so so much, and please thank all your team for me too!!

Cannot recommend Amber Events highly enough! I love hosting but when it came to my parents wedding reception in my garden I just knew it had to be special with as little stress as possible and I can honestly say that using Paula & her team was worth every penny! We had plenty of correspondence and meetings with Paula & Jo beforehand to ensure that our vision could come to life, and they offered us lots of great suggestions! We wasn’t a huge event (65 people) but we made sure every space was utilised and the timing of everything was perfect. We used the following services: • Marquee with Lights, Curtains & Dancefloor • Bar & Bar Staff (including made to order cocktails) • Private Chef & Waiting Staff • Table & Chair Hire • Glasses, Crockery, Cutlery etc Hire • Ice • DJ Everyone that came to the house was so respectful, friendly & helpful but most importantly, I had zero stress on the day – even when we thought it was going to rain, Paula was there ready with a backup plan (luckily we didn’t need to use it). And all of our guests commented on what a fantastic day/evening it was. Cannot wait for the next opportunity to use Amber Events again! Thank you so much xxx
