Creative venue were absolutely fantastic. My wife had a great vision of how she wanted our wedding to look and Claire and the team made it come to life exactly how we wanted. Our wedding stationery was designed better than we could have imagined, we were kept up to date throughout the process and we couldn't have been happier. We can't recommend Creative Venue highly enough.

We had a very definite view of how we wanted our venue to look. We knew it was quite different and we knew it was a bit out of the ordinary. When we were looking for someone to style our venue, we met with so many suppliers who showed either a vague passing interest in our plans or a complete lack of attention to detail when quoting that we were beginning to despair that no one would ever truly “get us”. That changed when we met Claire from ‘The Creative Venue’ at the Detling Wedding Experience. From that first meeting she was as excited as we were about our wedding and threw herself into the detail straight away, suggesting creative ideas to make our vision even better, all before we had even agreed prices and signed contracts – she was just happy to share her expertise with us. Claire was always excited to see us, like we were her family. She was patient and good humoured, even when we gave her a 32 page PowerPoint presentation of ideas, likes and dislikes (sorry Claire), she actually liked it. She was very reassuring and always happy to meet with the venue and other suppliers to make sure that we were all on the same page, she’s a real team player. We had so much to do that we didn’t really feel excited in the run up to our wedding, until the afternoon before our wedding when we saw our venue and the styling taking shape. In truth, whilst we knew Claire was very capable and we trusted her to bring our vision to life, we never really felt that anyone would get it 100% right, no one could every really take what was inside our heads and actually get it exactly right- ummm… we were so completely wrong. Claire did exactly that! She took a completely white room and worked with our florist, Jill from Passion Floral Design, to create the magical winter woodland for us, complete with lots of moss, twigs, twisted willow, ivy, with lots of warmth coming from deep reds, velvets, rose golds, candles by the bucket loads, hundreds of fairly lights, uplighters, crates, drapes, sequin drapes, paper lanterns, it was beautiful. We said that we didn’t want to turn on any overhead lights and that we wanted all the light in the room to come from the ambient light provided by the candles, fairly lights, uplighters etc – well they achieved just that, the room glowed, no harsh overhead lighting was needed. The photos really don’t do it justice. The one word our guests used over and over again to describe the way everything looked was ‘magical’. Even the staff at the venue said they had never seen the venue look that way before and the following day, staff who weren’t working our wedding told us they had been sneaking in to have a look because they had all heard how beautiful and different it looked. That would never have happened without Claire and her team. They went above and beyond and did things that we wouldn’t have expected them to do and we truly feel like they are friends now. Claire knew exactly what would work and made our vision a reality, which made our day absolutely perfect. We only wish we could have had an extra day to enjoy it all for longer.

Claire and the team did a fantastic job of decorating our wedding venue. We started the process of organising the decorations and flowers back in May 2023. Claire was very helpful, giving us lots of suggestions on how we could achieve our ideas within our budget. Over time as other aspects of the wedding came together we continued to refine the plan, each time Claire was full of good advice and a happy smile. She was reassuring when the colour scheme did a full turn, after we failed to find bridesmaids dresses in the colours we needed, helping to hunt down just the right colour ribbon to keep my initial vision alive. On the day I knew Claire and the team had everything in hand and that when I finally saw the venue it would be exactly what we had planned. My maid of honour needed silk flowers due to her allergies and Claire and the team managed to match them beautifully to the real ones. If fact when they arrived I struggled to tell them apart. Thank you so much for bringing the personal touch to our venue that we wanted and for my wonderful flowers.

Creative Venue are amazing. They brought mine and my husband's vision to life on our wedding day. I was so excited when I saw all of the decor set out in our wedding breakfast room. I'd like to say a special thank you to Beth (who we started our consultation with) and Jenny who took over once Beth left and was responsible for set up on the day. They listened to everything we wanted and it came together perfectly.

I would highly recommend Claire and the team at Creative Venue! They recently provided decorations for our wedding at The Gardens in Yalding. Everything was so beautiful and our guests loved it!
