From the moment we first stepped into The Oak Grove, we just knew we wanted to get married there. The place is simply magical, it almost feels as though it was built by fairies or something! It’s such a great layout too – spacious but nicely contained, with lots of the interesting little nooks and crannies for guests to mingle, relax and play games in. Throughout the entire planning process, Sam and Paul could not have been more supportive in helping us to achieve our vision for the day. They really are two of the kindest and most creative people you could ever wish to meet, and their staff are just as fabulous. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly - we were on a high all day. In fact, I honestly think if we didn’t have photos, it would probably have felt like some sort of wonderful dream! An absolute gem of a venue ♥

I thought everything about this venue was brilliant for a late summer wedding. We were there on the hottest day in the year in September. The leafy arbour and benches for the ceremony are lovely. The lavender confetti the couple chose worked well and I smiled as I took pictures of the blankets and umbrellas provided for cold and wet days. The toilet facilities are amusing and kitted out with everything that might be needed. The marquee and bar were well appointed, beautifully arranged and the staff very accommodating.

We had our wedding on 18th June 2022 at the stunning Oak Grove venue. What a wonderful day it was! We were so grateful for everything the amazing team did for us!! It was magical from start to finish and everyone was so impressed with the setting! All of Sam, Paul and Tracy's communication was so friendly, prompt and helpful along the way, making it easy and enjoyable to plan and get ready for the big day. We weren’t expecting as much help and support the day before and the morning of the wedding which actually felt like such a relief and we could rest knowing it was all in good hands. We looked at lots of woodland venues around London and this was by far the best value for money for what was included, we would highly recommend! The attention to detail is remarkable- everything has been thought of from the vintage furniture, cocktail bar, fire pit, converted horsebox toilets, children's area and stunning ceremony area. It really was perfect and hardly needed any extra decoration! We also had spots of rain during the ceremony but we were oblivious to it and umbrellas were provided for our guests, as were blankets throughout the evening. We had a ceilidh band in the evening and the venue was perfect for this too! Thank you to the Oak Grove for such a memorable day. Right from the outset, Simon was completely professional but most importantly efficient and came immediately to do a site check of the venue to ensure a tailor made perfect setup of the marquee on the wedding day! It really was a stunning and perfect marquee. He always got back to us for our queries straight away and to top it all of, his prices are extremely competitive but without compromising on a fantastic service. I’ve got to say, one of the best decisions me and my husband have ever made was to book Simon and Marquee the Event for our Woodland wedding in September this year at Longton Wood! Myself and my husband were really set on using local suppliers in an effort to keep our day as planet friendly as possible and from the very first contact, Simon jumped on board with our planet friendly requests, going above and beyond to meet our requirements and help us create our dream day. We had so many compliments from guests and other suppliers about our marquee (we opted for a fully transparent one and it was absolutely magical set amongst the trees). We honestly could not have been happier! One of the most reliable, professional and hard working people we have ever worked with and we hope there is an opportunity in the future to use Simon and Marquee the Event again! Simon and his team were just brilliant from day one of enquiring with them. Simon would always get back to me straight away with any questions I had (which was A LOT!) he would always go through everything to ensure me that we had everything ready to go for the big day and I couldn’t have been happier with the communication. The marquee itself was outstanding and just exactly what I had been picturing in my head for years! My brief was “clear roof, sides that roll up, black and white dance floor and disco balls galore”.. it was spot on! We opted for the round tables and “nice” chairs which worked perfectly. We also had the toilet block from them, as toliets go.. there were really clean and “posh”. Actually people commented on how nice these were! We also had festoon lights up the drive way and a couple of days before the big day, I decided that I wanted them up the stairs too. I messaged Simon and they were put up the next day- talk about first class service!! We also did this with the carpet as originally I was going to have wooden floors but the carpet really finished it off nicely! After month's of looking for a marquee supplier we found Marquee the Event and loved their clear marquees! Simon was incredibly helpful from the get go, offering advice and information on the different styles of marquee as well as generators, dance floor, tables, benches, toilets and staging. We were so happy to find someone who could cover all our needs for our wedding day. The site visit we did with Simon and his team was incredibly informative but we also felt Simon fully understood what we wanted while providing great practical advice. When we finally saw the Marquee installed we were blown away with how beautiful it looked with the lights, staging and tables! The tables and toilets in particular were even better than we thought they would be and Simon was great at giving us instructions on how to use the equipment provided. The venue is stunning, the organisation and communication was first class right from the start, we booked it immediately on our first visit. Tania and Sam made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. The castle is so magical and the staff so welcoming going over and beyond our expectations. They were happy to accommodate our requests (we wanted our friend to conduct the ceremony who is a registrar). And to have our dog with us - he had a great wedding day! We had many WOW moments especially in the little details (roaring log fire /home made rose petal confetti / raspberries in our champagne) the elopement team made our day the best! The cake , flowers, decorations and food were exceptional. All our friends and family have loved seeing Fleur’s amazing photographs of our 50 shades of pink elopement at Westenhanger Castle 🏰 . We would highly recommend the elopement service they offer.

After deciding we wanted to elope we started to look into a venue. We came across elope kent on Google. After looking through there website we decide to look at allington castle venue. From the minute we spoke to sam at elope we felt instintatly in safe hands. Sam was amazing and reassured us the whole way through. Our wedding day was truly perfect everything we could have wished for and more. From the cake to the food to the flowers to the photos everything was absolutely perfect. We cannot say enough about Team E-Lope; without doubt, they put the "Special" into our Special Day. It genuinely was more than we hoped for. Such a good night at The Robbie Williams event at Olby’s in Margate. Such great value for money, the support, Jed Sharpe was brilliant and Dan Budd aka Robbie was outstanding. Such fantastic little venue! Danced all night!!

The whole process was so flawless, great communication, set up was fabulous and Angela was lovely. My partners 40th birthday was made even more special with the amazing work they did providing such an elegant back drop for photos. Thank you to Kerry and the team for creating and absolutely incredible backdrop at the stunning venue Roseyard Kent for my husband's 40th. From start to finish they were so professional and so helpful and able to create exactly what I envisioned. Also last minute I had to change the date and extend the hire. No questions asked they were more than willing to accommodate my request. The who set up was stress free for me! I wish Elegant Events were located to where I live as I organise so many parties and would loved to have used their services. Thank you Elegant Events of Kent for the decorations! Blessing was the wedding planner for my friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid and Blessing did an absolutely amazing job. She catered for everyone from the bride, to the family, to us the bridal party. Everything came out beautifully and the bride was super pleased with everything. Very professional at the face of adversity also. My wife and I knew we needed a lot of help in planning our wedding because of the huge number of guests we were expecting so we interviewed several planners but Once we met Blessing we knew immediately she was the one to help plan our wedding. She was beyond helpful throughout the planning process. She always got back to us immediately and there was no question she couldn't answer. She also helped to get the best and most affordable wedding vendors for us. On our wedding day she was everywhere solving every problem and making the day perfect. Also the wedding decorations she setup for the hall were absolutely beautiful to the point where people were coming up to my wife to ask for Blessing's contact details. After the wedding she stayed forever making sure every last item was packed up. I'm telling you there's nothing Blessing didn't do. She has truly become family and words aren't enough to recommend her enough. If I could I would actually have another wedding (with my wife of course) just to experience the magic of Blé.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. Working with Emma Warburton, Founder and MD of Evoke Events, was a breath of fresh air and a real pleasure from beginning to end. Emma and her team provided an exceptional service for this high profile event discerning exactly the vision we had in mind with fresh ideas, being very pro-active, fast acting precise decisions when required and nothing was too much trouble. Needless to say our event rolled out seamlessly which we were so pleased with and very thankful for. We cannot thank Emma and her team enough and very much look forward to working with her again.

Emma helped us with hiring waiting staff for our DIY wedding and after patiently discussing our needs, she provided us with an amazing team of four. Arriving on site whilst we were in our ceremony, they worked unsupervised to provide an excellent service to our guests who were full of compliments for them. We had brought some flowers back with us from the church and they were incredibly helpful in artfully displaying them around the marquee. No job was ever too much and they worked with complete professionalism. Thank you Emma and team.

Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding.
