I called Sam with a problem of our roof leaking causing internal damage to our restaurant in Leeds. Sam attended the same day to find the source of the leak. Not only did I receive a quotation the same day, he also organised and electrician to make the lights in the damaged area safe and a plasterer to secure before a permanent fix could be made. The works were completed to a very high standard and we have no further problems. I would highly recommend Sam for any roofing issues. Great work.

I called Sam to repair a badly fitted flat roof on my garden room. The original guys (John Stovin & Adam) tried on 4 occasions to repair their shoddy work but then disappeared, obviously beyond their capabilities. So Sam comes along that same week, quickly identified the problem areas and advises of options. Best option in my mind was a reroof and replace the rotten boards. The weather delayed the job but Sam was there all the time giving me the confidence that he hasn’t forgotten. The guys came and completed my roof in good time and tidied the site with respect to my garden space and property. He’s looked at my 88 yr old mum in laws flat roof and identified a leak as not being the roof but something else, Sam in my opinion, isn’t a rip off merchant and priced competitively. As important he hasn’t had to come back for any snagging. I would definitely recommend Sam and Newlay Roofing.

SDK were contracted to deliver a highly technical roofing solution on a new circa. £6m, 8 luxury apartment development in Harrogate called 2 The Oval. The development had to comply with strict planning conditions due to its location in a key conservation area of Harrogate. Our appointed contractor needed to be sympathetic and fully understand the complexity of the buildings construction which focussed on very traditional methods with very detailed features. SDK delivered beyond our expectations giving professional guidance and advice at various stages of the build. The quality of work was exceptional, care was shown throughout the process and engagement with other trades exemplary. 1000% recommend these guys. Had some roofing work done by another company and it failed within the first week of being installed. After being recommended NC we decided to get a quote to fix what the previous roofers had done. We were really happy with the quote and these guys did their absolute best to get us in before the new year. Work looks excellent (and no more leaking!). Fantastic work from the guys at NC Roofing. Really pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism and communication throughout. From attending to give a quote to completion of the work they clearly explained (and showed with photos) what was required and what they had done. We had a dry verge installed last year by someone from Checkatrade, but they did such a poor job that it started falling off after just 10 months. Thankfully, we got in touch with these roofers, who provided a competitive price and excellent service. They installed a new dry verge properly, securing it with wooden battens for extra durability. They even went the extra mile by replacing a few cracked tiles for free using spare materials they had on hand. I would highly recommend them for any roofing work.

The day after moving house in November 2023, we discovered that our garage flat roof leaked. After researching on-line for a reputable roofing company, I was as confident as I could be that DPR Roofing were well worth requesting a no obligation condition report and quote from - both for my garage and other flat roofs forming part of the main house. The survey was very friendly and professional and followed up with a detailed report including photographs, customer recommendations, and a comprehensive condition report with recommended treatments (and costs), bespoke to each flat roof area. All good roofing companies should by reputation be 'busy' and I took it to be a positive sign that DPR roofing provided me with a start date that meant waiting 2-3 months before the works could be carried out. During the schedule of works, the roofing team were courteous and hard working, and were patient with the weather. To ensure a good quality job, the team were patient during the interruptions caused by inclement weather, giving me confidence that the work carried out will ensure good condition trouble free flat roofs for years to come. The roofers from DPR roofing arrived when they said that they would, they were polite, kept us informed of the process, and were helpful if we had questions. From what we can see of the roof repairs from the ground, the work is very neat and professional.

DPR quickly and effectively completed extensive work on my damaged, leaking roof in July 2024, removing all 3 crumbling chimney stacks and fitting new ridges. They also arranged for robust scaffolding to be put in place for the duration of their work. Their costs were fully explained, and payment was straightforward.

Our once shabby asbestos covered garage (which leaked) now has a really smart, coloured metal, water-tight finish to it. DPR were great from start to finish. The survey was comprehensive and the surveyor was able to provide answers to all my questions as well guide me through how the new roof would work. Fantastic service from Yorkshire Roofing, I knew my roof was in for a big job, quickly quoted and agreed, The scaffolding was up the next day and few days later they were on it, They showed me the state of the chimney too, so that was more work, But I didn't want a chimney falling on my new roof! No more stress over leaks and no more noise from rattling side tiles, cheers.

Had a roof tile fly off during horrendous winds, and the friendly team at Yorkshire Roofing came round the very next day in the morning (even arrived early!) and rectified the issue and were able to get the fallen slate back in and ensured my roof was all good. Used M&S roofing to remove and install a new GRP roof where the original one had been poorly installed by a previous tradesman and ended up failing after 3 years. They came when they said they would, completed the job in the timescale indicated, (despite the british summer weather, providing a challenge half way through) did a good job and issued warrenty and guarantee. Joe the supervisor and his colleagues were polite and professional. Happy to recommend them.

I'm writing this review as a last resort, but since nobody is showing up it doesn't really matter how it will influence our 10 year relation (guarantee period). I will do my best to keep this short and honest. Let's see how I do. So we've picked the quote from M&S for a complete re-roof (inc gutters, fascias) with flat roof repair to stop it from dripping and soaking up the side wall. For the re-roof pretty straight-forward job, picked the tiles we like and it went quite smoothly. Flat roof was supposed to be done so it doesn't drip- any way they see fit. They have offered re-felting it, seemed reasonable, so that was agreed. Unfortunately, either by lack of experience or the quality of work, the roof is still dripping, in the same places, soaking up the wall. On top of that, the main roof gutter, where it joins with our n-bours gutter, has been leaking. And since it's at the joint, it makes a lovely waterfall onto my n-bours walls and windows. ALL the issues above have been fixed now. Below you can see all the updates and how long it took. In general the company is reliable, just a shame they are soooo busy, it's hard work to meet up with them. Ive attached a pic of before and after gutter correction. If google allows it I will keep this review in edit and up to date after each and every significant development of situation- both good and bad. If there's no progress I shall update every two weeks stating just that- no progress. UPDATE 1 28.02.22- Mr Simon has paid me a visit to discuss the repairs. Spaces between gutters will be filled to prevent leaking. Flat roof is a bit more of a complex problem, but shall be dealt with as well. As promised to keep it fair, one star up and I shall update on thursday 3.3.22. UPDATE 2 8.03.22- we are waiting for dry day. It was raining almost all previous week. Should be better in coming days. UPDATE 3 11.03.22 All issues have been tended to. It is a trustworthy company after all, just busy.
