I had tried to contact a few roofers by word of mouth and most didn’t turn up. I knew it would be an expensive job and it’s daunting spending that kind of money so you want someone you can trust. I put the add on checkatrade and I saw PW Contractors had good reviews and pictures on their page. Pat was one of the first to contact me to arrange to come and take a look at the roof. He turned up when he said he would do and knew exactly what he was talking about. No hard sell on anything, I told him what I wanted and he explained what they could do in detail. Decided to hire PW Contractors for the job. Pat gave me a lead time and it was pretty much bang on the date when they turned up to install the scaffold. They arranged the lot including skip hire and clean up and didn’t need anyone in to crack on with the work. Weather knocked them back by a day but the next day to make up for it the lads arrived at 8 and grafted till 6. They turned up in sign written vehicles and clothes with the company details. Landline telephone number and company address there for all to see. Pat took pictures of the job as they went along so I could see what they had done. These lads aren’t cowboys and they have nothing to hide. Didn’t ask for any money until the job was complete and the price they quoted was the price I paid, no added extra. Full quotation supplied by email or letter and invoice and 10 year guarantee provided on final settlement of work done. I had the full roof off, membrane and new treated batons installed, chimney repointed and new flashing installed. New dry ride system, facias, soffits and gutters. The old slate was relaid and any damaged or fragile slates replaced entirely. PW Contractors did all this in just under 4 days. Installed insulated tiled roof to glass roofed conservatory . Started work on agreed date, workforce very professional and polite. At the end of each day we were given a summary of works completed and resume of next days work. Price paid was the price agreed, no hidden costs. Decided to have the house and garage roof replaced. PW Contractors recommended by neighbour Pat contacted to do survey and provide quote. He arrived at the agreed time and provided a concise clear description of the work required. This was followed 48 hours later with a very detailed comprehensive written quote. The knowledge and expertise demonstrated by Pat at the first meeting gave me confidence that I had the right man to carry out the work Quote was agreed and approximate dates for the work identified. This was finalised 2 weeks prior to start including when scaffolding would be erected. Pat and his team arrived on the agreed date and time to start the work. As it progressed, I was impressed by their hard work, attention to detail and their professionalism. I was also impressed with how clean and tidy they left everything when they finished each day. Very happy with the work carried out by Kenyon roofing - Jimmy very easy to communicate with and sent a team out very quickly to assess issues with stone gutter and chimney. Quotations done with photos and I was given thorough explanations of the issues I was having and the solutions to these. We would like to thank Jimmy, Zac and Reece for their hard work over the weekend. We had major issues with our stone gutters causing awful damp issues in our bedroom and kitchen. They have completely re-lead lined the whole area front and side and the chimney taking the lead under two/three roof tiles. They also re-pointed the ridge tiles. They kindly took photos and videos of the work they had done. We are delighted with it and hope to have a damp free winter. We highly recommend Kenyon Roofing Ltd. Mark and his team have repaired both my partially collapsed roof and bay-window roof. Our flat roof blew off in the recent storm. I rang MW Roofing the day it blew (Sunday) and within 2hrs they arrived and assessed the damage and fitted a temporary cover. The service was excellent. If you have an emergency I would highly recommend them. They have been in regular contact and have also provided an estimate to submit to the insurance company. 5 star service

Edward and his team, have provided a fabulous service from the initial quote to the complete and quick tidy up after the job was finished. Edward is friendly, honest and reliable. His team were great workers, nothing was too much trouble and they just 'got on with it'. I asked for additional work to be done when the job had started; Edward and his team were really accommodating and the work was undertaken together with the original job. Edward called us after we was recommended to him by our supplier's to attend to a TV Aerial that needed moving in a loft that they were converting into extra living space, from the 1st call to completion of the work the communications were good, invoice paid on the same day, pleasure to work for. Had a complete re-roof from EB Roofing in October and I am delighted with it. Several houses on my estate similar to mine had had re-roofs done by EB Roofing and I spoke to a few people who recommended them without hesitation. Edward came to discuss the work, after I contacted him to say I wanted a new roof and we arranged timing based around the terrible weather we were having. The team undertaking the work were very professional, polite and courteous, (no swearing etc) and kept me informed of where they were up to. It took around 3 weeks because of several very heavy rainy days when they couldn't work and the scaffold came down a couple of days after. Great job well done eB Roofing.
