I found this local business and after agreed estimate work was carried out on my roof to my satisfaction with photos taken. John made everything clear as to what the job entails and everything left completely tidy. Good job done.

John and his team redid two flat roofs and repainted our stonework and woodwork. He turned up when he said and did the job quickly and expertly. He’s a clear communicator and a trustworthy tradesman who clearly cares about his customers and doing things correctly. Would strongly recommend.

We had a leak in one of the kids bedrooms and contacted John first thing in the morning and he moved his appointments around and was at our home about an hour later. He took a good look around the leak, the attic and a visual inspection and suggested remedial actions to stop the internal leak. He then came back the next day once the weather improved and not only did he and his team fix the issue, they tested it several times and then gave insights on the rest of the roof. The house is 3.5 stories and a mare to get on the roof but the team found the least obstructive route to get to the problem area. Once they identified the issue, they explained the options and agreed to fix it right away. Amazingly, it cost less than what my neighbours had paid for similar issues but without the access issues!! Obviously I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team for any work required as they came across as knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and professional but what impressed the most was the cost based on work required. I waited to give this review to see if 2 months of bad weather would unpick their solution. I need not have worried.

For anyone seeking a roofer / builder - you have come to the right place! John and his team at JD roofing are exceptional. My mum's roof was dilapidated after years of disrepair and John and his team delivered. My mum also had significant water penetration coming through her external kitchen wall. This resulted in years of poor pointing which John discovered after careful investigation. This job proved far worse than the entire roof due to the mould which had spread following years of disrepair. But John and his team didn't shy away from what was a horrific job. They took it on the chin, worked tirelessly from early morning to night within a week to repoint, replaster and refit half of my mums kitchen units and flooring following the water damage. And they did it all in such good spirits keeping us informed throughout the process of ongoing works and price increases due to the signficant mould decay on some of her units. When refitting the kitchen, all necessary quality control was carried out on electrics and plumbing. My mum now has a kitchen which is immaculate and better than ever before of exceptional quality. A very happy client indeed! John surpassed our expectations. The quality and delivery was outstanding and his professionalism for me was a rare find among tradesmen. A true credit to his industry and I highly recommend. Thanks again to JD roofing. It was a hell of job but you all were outstanding and we wouldn't think twice to have you on board again :)
