Smartbuild can be trusted to deliver high quality result using skilled staff. the work undertaken on replacing the bay tiles that were 90 years old was exemplary, and has improved the energy efficiency of my home. I liked the result so much that I have employed them on other projects for my house, the replacement of the guttering and fascias was to a very high standard that will last for many years. they also replaced the brickwork and lead flashing on the garage roof, fixing damage caused by previous "builders". It is hard to find a legitimate builder, but I can recommend them.

They did all the calls and scheduled what needed to be scheduled. All they asked me to do was send them an email of my schedule so that can schedule everything else around my schedule. I loved that they were so accommodating! They literally took care of everything. They were very helpful and were always available to speak when I wanted an update. They are great at what they do! They're definitely not the cheapest bid out there but you get what you pay for. I now have a beautiful small home now that I can either rent out or use as my studio! Would highly recommend Paul and his team came same day I called to provide a quote for my leaky flat roof. Came to carry out the work as arranged on time and did a great job, left everything very tidy. Provided great before during and after photos at the end.

Paul came along to look at our flat roof on our extension which had been done badly by previous contractors. He is obviously a very experienced roofer and I felt instantly comfortable with him. He rectified the situation quickly, efficiently and to a very high standard. We are absolutely delighted with his work. I would highly recommend!

Paul has provided us prompt service whenever we have suffered storm damage over the last 8 years. You can always count on Paul to get to you quickly and to put your mind at ease. He doesn't just fix / replace the one / two tiles, but looks around the roof to see if there are any other loose tiles that need re-positioning. No matter how busy, takes the time required to satisfy himself that the roof is safe.

I think Paul was absolutely brilliant. When our ceiling caved in in the rain, he arrived at very short notice, put a temporary cover to stop the rain from coming through to the bedroom, and was back first thing in the morning to do the complete fix. He even cleared the gutters at no extra cost. Very warm and likeable. I have and will recommend him again.

Just had my 50 year old knackered roof completely overhauled to a very high standard by Lee Jeffery who runs a fantastic family roofing business where he has a highly skilled team behind him who are able to do literally everything. They are highly competent roofers who are able to self certify their work and they take care of all the building regulations paperwork on your behalf. I literally had everything done on the roof and i have superb insulation that meets all the current standards so bring on the cold weather. The price was very competitive and reasonable for the current climate and much better then the rip off competing quotes i got from some others used by some of my neighbours. I also liked the fact that everything was included in the quote and there were no nasty surprises and that all my questions and queries before committing were answered very patiently and promptly. I am not a very easy person to deal with as i have very high expectations and attention to detail so am very demanding but they took this in their stride and this didn't seem to rattle them. They are also able to do external decorations aswell as the roof if required so a complete one stop shop for everything. This is rare as i found all the other roofers only do roofing and nothing else which then means you then have to find someone else to do the decorations or other bits that need doing which can be a bit of a nightmare. Lee is a highly experienced roofer who really knows the business and what works and what doesn't. I was immediately taken with his advice and suggestions on the roof replacement which were 100% correct and spot on whereas some other roofers were coming up with some bizarre suggestions which i won't repeat here. Behind the scenes Gemma and Chelsea were also fantastic and very efficient and great with paperwork, queries and scheduling the work. The team were amazing, nothing was ever too much for them. They were totally focused on making me happy and ensuring the work met my expectations and i for one have to say it totally did! Roofers and Builders like these are rare. They take pride in their work which explains why they have a really good reputation in the area and are always rushed off their feet with work. I look forward in the future to calling on them again to do other bits for me but for now i can safely say i consider them as my go to roofers!
