Friendly, timely and tidy teams of guys who did a great and professional job on the replacement of soffits etc, clearing moss from the roof, repointing the ridge tiles and repairing a leaking Velux window unit. Completely hassle-free and I would unreservedly recomment them to anyone.

I reached out to The Roofing Company to have a flat roof leak investigated. Previously I had it reviewed by 3 other roofing companies and was given varying degrees of feedback ranging from quick fixes, to having the entire flat roof and pitched roof redone. Gary popped over with his team, assessed the roof and reported back to me with the issue with the correct course of action. The advice was that there was no issues with the pitched roof and that the flat roof was worn and need replacing. The team stripped the flat roof back to the OCB (where they confirmed that the OCB did not need replacing as it was in great shape. The team progressed with stripping the existing felt and fitting the new torch of felt. Absolutely great service from start to finish and Gary and his team have been fantastic to work with. They also replaced the felt on the exterior outhouse. Overall 10/10 and will be using again for any future roofing issues.

We initially called Gary regarding a guttering issue; spare of the moment we asked his advice on a new roof for the conservatory. Our roof needed an immediate complete rebuild following damage sustained (5-bedroom semi detached property) Gary and his team were able to assess the roof, provide a quote and start work in a timely fashion. Gary was able to advise the work required, and made several important recommendations. The entire team were incredibly polite and diligent throughout the entire project. They kept me informed of the status throughout with daily photos. The team were happy to came back after the work was complete to resolve some minor matters. Great experience. Gary came around at the agreed time to get details on the quote. He explained things well, sent me the quote details quickly etc. Once booked in, his team turned up promptly (actually, they could do it a day earlier than planned), were courteous, very good at explaining what they had found, working around the issue, and the end result looks great. It hasn't rained yet, but so far the experience has been perfect and much better than with other roofers I've dealt with in the past.

Smartbuild can be trusted to deliver high quality result using skilled staff. the work undertaken on replacing the bay tiles that were 90 years old was exemplary, and has improved the energy efficiency of my home. I liked the result so much that I have employed them on other projects for my house, the replacement of the guttering and fascias was to a very high standard that will last for many years. they also replaced the brickwork and lead flashing on the garage roof, fixing damage caused by previous "builders". It is hard to find a legitimate builder, but I can recommend them.

I cannot recommend Steve highly enough for all roofing jobs. We have had the pleasure of working with Steve twice and he has done a brilliant job both times, on our old and new house. First job was replacing the whole roof and the second job was putting in new lead flashings, lead flat roof and gutters. All done to a very high standard, on time and for a reasonable price. Dudley are the Dream Team! The initial Drone Survey Report was so concise, thorough and detailed as it identified the cause of the leaking roof, in addition to other roof problems. Even for a layman, like me, I understood the photos and video! Dudley carried out all of the major works on my roof (broken tiles and moss cleaning), in addition to replacing all gutters, weatherproofing and repainting the exterior front house. The house now looks absolutely amazing and the quality of workmanship shines through! What a makeover! Extremely pleased with Miri and team, from initial call, passing to survey damage to the roof, sending estimate and delivering the job. Job included repairing broken tiles on the roof, cleaning gutter around house and garage and clean up. Also fixed another part of the roof, cleaned up moss on roof over front door, cut up branch which caused the damage on roof.
