APPRECIATION REVIEW ** With the bad weather last week my kitchen ceiling came through due to a flat roof leak. I called John who responded quickly and arrived to carry out a survey the following day, turned out we had a chocked outlet which jack unblocked and installed a patch to keep us watertight until the renewal. John came to clear our gutters arrived on time as planned. John delivered a very friendly and very professional and excellent service. He did a very thorough job, and had the proper equipment for the task, and great price, explaining all aspect of the job. Great company to deal with and great results. Sent John a request to clean the guttering on a rental property and he responded promptly with a reasonable price. A member of he’s team could attend the property within a week and did so. We had a really good experience with john. We bought a new house this year (2025) and quickly realised that we had a problem with leaks in the roof. Our roof is an old one and turns out that it was pretty neglected. John and his men turned up and honestly did an excellent job with constant video footage of the work being done and advice on how we could improve our situation. We contacted Nayburs via Google at about 9.30pm on a Thursday night after we had water coming into a bedroom during a storm. Looking at the roof a tile had slipped leaving a gap. Got a reply almost immediately and Pat and team turned up the next day to have a look. We already knew the roof needed to be replaced in the near future but hoped to get away with a patch. Pat got me up the ladder and showed me just how bad it actually was and explained why it couldn't be patched in a manner they could guarantee. Lifting tiles showed rotten battens (crumbled to the touch), rotten, crumbling roof lining and loose ridge tiles. It was a 60 year old roof but looked unlikely to last the week let alone the coming winter. We bit the bullet and agreed on a new roof. I'd normally get a number of quotes for this type of thing but was quoted a fair price. Nayburs had the gap covered and secured, and scaffolding, skip and materials ordered the same afternoon. And started work the next day. All through the process Pat and the team were professional, tidy, on-time and sent videos of all the work they had done each day. Any question were answered immediately, day or night. We're very happy with the result and would heartily recommend Nayburs to anyone and, in fact, have already done so!

Recently had our family home flat roof refelted by Fred and his team. Their workmanship, conduct and communication were all examplary. However this positive review is specifically to do with the fact that the team came to our aid a few days ago to help rectify what I thought was a leak in the roof (after a sudden thunder storm). This turned out to be a leaky rain water drain (and thus nothing to do with the work that they had done). Despite not needing to do anything they came over as soon as they could, had a look and fixed the problem happily and thus really saved this household in their time of need. They give a guarantee for their roofing work and they really do strive to honour it (which can be a rarity nowadays). I felt very valued and reassured as a customer and would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend them to others.
