S Mummery are a God send. Everyone within the company is professional from the admin staff to the actual roofers. They are polite, dependable and I was constantly updated on the process from confirming the date the scaffolding would arrive to the times the roofers would be at the house to start work. The roofers updated us on what they were doing and where they were in the process. I can't recall the name of our roofers but they worked so hard in sweltering heat. They were knowledgeable and it was obvious that they were determined to fix my problem. They were just amazing. They fixed a leak to my roof that no other roofer could fix. I have had a new issue and I did not hesitate to call S Mummery. Once again the problem has been sorted out. I don't think there is anything they don't know about roof installation and repair. I wish I had found them years ago as they would have saved me money and the anxiety of having a leaking roof. I recommend S Mummery without any hesitation. They have done excellent roof repairs over the years for me including new flat roof, chimney breast tiling and guttering. They are polite,punctual,tidy and responsible. Recently had our family home flat roof refelted by Fred and his team. Their workmanship, conduct and communication were all examplary. However this positive review is specifically to do with the fact that the team came to our aid a few days ago to help rectify what I thought was a leak in the roof (after a sudden thunder storm). This turned out to be a leaky rain water drain (and thus nothing to do with the work that they had done). Despite not needing to do anything they came over as soon as they could, had a look and fixed the problem happily and thus really saved this household in their time of need. They give a guarantee for their roofing work and they really do strive to honour it (which can be a rarity nowadays). I felt very valued and reassured as a customer and would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend them to others.
