I have had the pleasure of using McDonald Roofing for a replacement roof and subsequent gutter works. From start to finish I can't fault the professionalism of the team from Kerry back at base with the quotes/timing through to John and team who did the work. All the works were clearly costed up and explained and the quality of the work was excellent.

Two architects told me “McDonalds are the best in London” and one local property developer advised “Don’t even think about using anyone else”. They weren’t wrong. Great service all round from John, Kerry, Dave, Josh and the team. John found a great solution to deal with a difficult series of specific problems we encountered. Superb finish on the job overall - “the finest roofing job I’ve seen in years” said my visiting builder family member.

John and his team did a complete new roof for our listed house and we were thrilled and delighted by McDonalds’ professionalism, honesty, hard work and, we’d go so far as to say, artistry. It is an absolutely beautiful job which we are still standing and staring at in admiration three weeks after it was finished. John even took the time to come over in person and reassure an over-anxious neighbour who was concerned (without any justification) about how our new roof would affect theirs. Special shout out to Matt, John’s lead guy, who should get some kind of Nobel Prize for lead work. Quite beautiful.

A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. There was excellent communication throughout the project from getting quotes right through to completion. We were promptly sent all the verified certificates.

The team were hard working, polite and courteous and Andrew (project manager) is a true gentleman - a person with manners from a different era.

I have used McDonald Roofing Contractors for three separate roofing jobs on a rather complicated roof - firstly replacing a box gutter and associated drainage, secondly replacing some lead work, and finally replacing half of the roof following my realisation that a previous roofer had only done half of the work paid for. Given all the cowboys out there it is reassuring to know a company who is professional, expert, tidy and efficient. I echo the praise of Kerry in the office, too! Delighted with the service and the end result.
