Delightful. Took my bestie for a birthday afternoon tea. Delicious food. Superb staff and a lovely view of the lake.

The most amazing home cooked Sunday lunch we have ever had. Excellent service, great menu choices and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be returning, many thanks 👍

amazing service was greeted with a smile the hot chocolate was gorgeous and i liked my chicken and mushroom garlic sauce when i asked for gravy they got me some oh tho they didn’t get me enough but that was all sorted when i asked for more (highly recommend booking in advance)

We had a Valentine's Day meal. Food was absolutely first class. ANY top class kitchen would be proud to produce such a delightful menu( ...we had the Hake). Staff were friendly and relaxed. Easy atmostphere. Great evening out.....

Mara was such a wonderful presence during our meal. She was so sweet, very mindful, and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. So lovely, and I can’t wait to come back. The food was exceptional too ❤️

Had a lovely time at Prezzo today. The food and service was exceptionally good. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's always lovely to see Mara. She always goes above and beyond to ensure we have a lovely time.

The restaurant was lovely, with beautiful ambiance, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food, including both pizza and pasta, was delicious. I highly recommend both dishes! Additionally, they offer complimentary meals for kids during the Easter holiday, including starters, mains, and desserts. I look forward to returning to try more of their delicious pasta dishes.

Re-review Massive appreciation to the manager Cheryl showing me concerns of the quality of my stay, testament to her dedication to the trade! To clarify my original post - the bedding and room had definately been cleaned and changed but the steamer was broken so the wrinkles were not ironed out. Totally understandable and Cheryl considered perhaps tucking the sheets in for a neater look. The faint smell couldn't really be explained, could only put it to being a people smell? But not a reflection of cleanliness of the place. The tea tray was intact super brand new that the residue I found was in fact the glue tack thing for labels(?) Bed and bedding SUPER comfortable. Bottles of water provided as a considerate extra, greatly appreciated Great choice of food from the restaurant and cozy atmosphere with the open fireplace. Overall I chose to change my review from 3 stars to 5 as Cheryl showed me genuine care of my thoughts. It's all about hospitality! Definitely recommend visiting and staying. Original post: Pros: Bed had a nice mattress topper, felt very comfortable. All basic amenities provided. Very friendly staff Cons: I don't think my bedding was changed since the last guest - there was a very slight lingering smell of a person on the pillows, once flipped, it sort of eased. The duvet cover was not ironed or tucked in - making it look used. The tea coffee facility - a little dusty, no real attention to detail there almost bordering on neglectful.

The Mill Wheel is my second visit to this pub and so far has not been disappointing. The atmosphere is one of welcoming and wonderful bar staff. Food was excellent although only complaint was we were expecting to have the amazing carvery cobs, but unfortunately they changed the menu. But what we had was amazing I had ordered the Fish Goujons with salad and tartar sauce on Ciabatta, my brother in law had the Stilton and Steak on Ciabatta bread, and my sister had the Cheese and ham. Very tasty and certainly worth the money. Staff were professional and courteous in the service, and such a wonderful place. I give it a full rating.

Visited for my 50th birthday brunch. Could not fault any of the components. Food was 100%, service was 100%. Cocktails were 100%. We will definitely be back another time and can 100% recommend the bottomless brunch ❤️🍹 Was taken here as a surprise Mother's Day breakfast this morning, beautiful is the only word I can use. Very nice, good food and drinks. Boutique cocktails are expensive, as can be expected, but they are very nice and there are plenty of other drinks on offer. Food is good, haven't tried the pizza yet but hope to soon! Roast dinner and BBQ meals are very nice as well, just need to add some bread I think.

We ordered take out from here and it was excellent. The staff were really friendly when we Collected. They will deliver but only if you order via telephone, the guy was telling me Just eat and Uber eats take 40% in commission which is why they don’t use them. Having heard that I am now going to steer clear of delivery apps. This is why we struggle to get good quality food now, cost is cut to maintain margin. I advise you to order from here or eat in you won’t be disappointed at all.

Lovely food, both in restaurant and takeaway. Welcoming staff. It would be good if you could offer a diet lemonade option. Would recommend and will return again!

Have had my takeaways from Ali + team at Bombay Spice for many years. Always a lovley meal, also dined in many times over the years, staff are always friendly and polite, and always a warm welcome. On the odd occasion there has been an issue, its always rectified quickly. If you haven't tried Bombay Spice, I highly reccomend you do.

Very very busy but expected for " mothers day " very helpful staff and glad we pre-booked the table . Great choice and wide menu to pick from ? If you have people who never know what to order " try them here " lol Try and book in advance , it's the best thing to do ! The carvery was unbelievable " the beef and Turkey were so moist " we had a standard plate and it was amazing with 6 different veg , roast potatoes , creamy mash , stuffing balls and big Yorkshire pudding ! Had a big family dinner there today and the place and staff was amazing 👏 great food ! Haven't been for a while but you still need to book to guarantee a table if there's more than four. Service was good and only ordered off the menu " still good food " friendly and helpful staff. Went again on a Wednesday evening but needed to book and the staff are still helpful and friendly , the food was good 👍

Went to the Greyhound for a Sunday Carvery, everything was cooked to perfection , we all enjoyed our meals, including an ice cream sundae to finish off with. Good selection of drinks. One of our group had a pizza which looked very nice, my friend said they enjoyed it, they have a pizza oven in the bar area. The pizzas are huge, but you can take what you leave home. Service was good, very pleasant staff. Restaurant, bar and toilets are very clean. Atmosphere was good. The car park is big so plenty of spacies. The pub is disabled friendly. Didn't notice if it is dog friendly too.

They catered for a large group of 16 for the carvery. Very tasty. Space was a bit cramped... they could have arranged the tables better but this was a minor point. Staff helpful and friendly.

By far the best pub in the Derby area. The pizza offerings were the genuine article, robust, plentiful and SUPER tasty. A buzzy neighborhood inn with plenty of parking, spaces to congregate and top fare on offer.

Very authentic American experience. Must do at least once. Even the location, out in the middle of a truck park adds to the authenticity. Food was tasty, included all relevant American Classics and portions are very generous. Even the staff are in costume. Great experience. Looking forward to going again in summer to try the milkshakes. Great parking facilities and facilities in general too.

This place is a must visit for the novelty alone! I visited for a birthday meal and we had to book a table over a week in advance so it's certainly a popular place. The location is lovely and exactly what you'd expect from an American diner. They're currently building a outdoor area which will be lovely in the summer as the booth seating is quite compact. The menu is full if american classics and the price is quite reasonable. A lot of the good is fried but it's exactly what you'd hope for. My kids loved the place and we'd definitely return for a special occasion. The staff were lovely and I can't wait to try the breakfast offerings!

What a fab place. Went there for hubby's birthday there were 12 of us so we had 3 booths booked. The food was great. All freshly cooked in front of you. Best burgers we've had eating out. Milkshakes were awesome too. It seemed pricey when you look at the menu but was absolutely worth every penny and you got more than enough. We couldn't finish all of ours. We will definitely all go back there again.

Set up as you would imagine an Amercian Diner to be, the 1950's music adds to the environment. 9x booths available but plenty of space. Reasonably priced & staff are friendly. Food was made in front of you and was very tasty - We'll definitely take on one of the two eating challenges next time.

A great place to go if you want a decent meal. I tried the new sloppy joes and was overly disappointed. I won’t let one bad meal put me off coming again. Overall a great place to eat.

Food is always amazing, the fries are so tasty. Atmosphere is always lively and friendly. Service couldn't be better, I always love coming in when Ashley is working, he's got a great memory- he remembers what I like and is all round very attentive. Only server that's caught my attention for his great attitude to customer service and work.

Fantastic pub for value for money and atmosphere. Cannot fault the food and the price. We had two Sizzlers on their Tuesday deal and it was fantastic value for money. Our server was faultless, really lovely lady and I would come back just to be served by her!

Visited for an evening meal, and was served by a young man called Josh, who had not been there long. His manners and attentiveness were spot on, and nothing was too much trouble. The food we ordered came promptly and was delicious. Very impressed with both the service and the food.

Really amazing customer service from very friendly staff, had some vehicle issues which they let us sort out in their car park so of course we grabbed a bite to eat! Will return again purely for the staff ⭐️ Thank you so much Catchems!

Didn’t have any food because I was on there on the night and the kitchen was closed. But apart from that everything else was brilliant! Lovely bar tender there called Kirsty served me and she made me a few good tasty cocktails! Massive thanks to her ❤️
