Didn't eat as we only stopped for a post walk drink but the food looked great. Staff all really friendly. Great beer garden with a great playground. Will definitely revisit and get food next time.

Fantastic pub in the middle of Monyash, Derbyshire. Lots of seating inside and some outside. Great menu. I had the ploughman's for lunch and it was one of the best I've ever had. It had a bit of everything on it with 3 types of cheese, blue, cheddar & red Leicester with a warm baguette. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

A busy pub in the middle of Monyash, I recommend booking especially on a Friday or Saturday evening. Great food, friendly staff. I had the vegan curry with rice and chips which was very mild, I would prefer it to be a bit more spicy but it did say it was mild on the menu. My partner had vegetarian lasagne and although nice say it lacked flavour. Obviously our taste buds prefer more spiced and seasoned food.

A pleasant place, nice country pub feel, wood beams in ceiling. Staff very friendly, willing to alter my table arrangement for the afternoon meal booked (Sat lunch) Good size portions for what we ordered and happy to make small changes to accommodate a food allergy. Had a cider called Inch was tap...a recent addition...an excellent drink, perfect for a meal...not to dry/sweet light on the pallet. Would recommend you ring first if you want a meal...it seems to be a popular place. Had starter, 2 meals, 2 desserts and drink. Will definitely be back.

This pub has tons of character, what I call a real public house.. Great ales along side serving darn good food.. Ordered the sizzling pork in pepper corn sauce.. picture doesn't do it justice!! It came literally bubbling in front of me.. and it was lush. Highly recommend going 👍 Set in a beautiful village.
