I stayed at the staff of life for a week while away for work. My room was beautiful, the food amazing and the hosts very warm and welcoming. If you visit be sure to try the homemade pies, the best beef pie I have ever eaten, bravo 10/10.
We had our school reunion there last Saturday. The staff were really welcoming and accommodating. We were given some tables and it was very informal just what we wanted. We had some food and it was delicious. Well worth a visit.
Great friendly staff , lovely home cooked meals, if we’re ever in area again will call back in . Thanks for making us feel welcome.
Had a lovely meal friendly staff good service and food. Reasonable prices. Didn't stay so can't comment on rooms etc but would consider staying in the future.
Over my previous visits to this place, I felt it had somewhat lost its identity. It was a pub, but trying to be a restaurant and going in for just a drink felt a bit marginalised. I was therefore pleasantly surprised during this visit. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. It was a lovely evening, and we sat outside in the sun. Would have stayed for longer if I didn't have the car.
