We are impressed with the high-quality food and generous portion sizes. They're always willing to customize our orders to our preferences, whether it's adjusting the spice levels. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met. Outstanding service. You can't beat them with their service standards. Note: If you are looking for traditional kerala food options avoid Wednesdays😉

Wow been here twice now within the last couple of weeks. Very different style of Indian Restaurant, they bring little sauces out for you to taste so they can get your hot & spice taste just right. I'm a Korma girl & they got it just right. The service off both Sri & Harry is very friendly. They are one of the only Indian restaurants I know that serve real ale on tap, not out of a bottle, which get changed regularly. Definitely one to watch out for with CAMRA. I have to finish my review with a little recommendation for the Deep Fried Ice Cream, OMG I've never in my life tasted flavour like it, only criticism is it needs to be 2 scoops 😅. Honestly go & try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Oh they've also got a large car park. Enjoy!

We ordered takeaway tonight from the newly opened Aleppy Kitchen at Castle Arms, Bolsover, and it was fantastic! The Chicken Biriyani was perfectly cooked, bursting with rich flavors. Me and my daughter were especially impressed with the Beef Roast and Kerala Porotta, which brought back nostalgic memories for me. The packaging was great, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’re excited for the restaurant to start dining in. Best of luck to everyone behind this venture.

Amazing afternoon for a party of 11. We had Sunday dinner. Mix of beef, port and vegetarian. Hot food, fresh veg, excellent service. Comfortable chairs lovely ambiance. We will be back thank you so much for making our family afternoon special.

From entering the Angel & Harlequin, we were treated to exceptionally high standards. The first element we experienced was a genuine and friendly welcome by the staff along with a warm atmosphere. You then notice the high quality of your surroundings, where great attention to detail has been invested. That same investment was obviously apparent in the expertise of the serving staff who were exoertly attentive. The choice of food was fantastic and served swiftly. The food was absolutely delicious, where every element was of the highest quality and obviously freshly prepared. When we received the bill, we were highly surprised as we'd expect to pay more for a wholly unforgettable and amazing dining experience.

My friend recommended that we come here so we did, and I am glad that we did. The pub/bistro is very cute, I love the interior design. You can just turn up you don't have to book. The coffee was really good and the food was very tasty. The menu isn't massive but it is only a small bistro, and sadly there is only 1 vegan option, so maybe would recommend trying to have more vegan/vegetarian options. Overall lovely experience and would recommend

We contacted quite late to accommodate 30 people for my sons' 30th birthday & they were brilliant! The food was spot on, service was excellent & were very accommodating our requests regarding it being a birthday. We were basically in a separate room for ourselves. All the staff were great. We had an amazing stay here for our wedding in late December. Gorgeous food from breakfast to evening dinner. The waiting staff were happy to accommodate my gluten free foods and they were all very welcoming. All staff are a credit to the Devonshire Arms. We stayed in the Hendricks room which was lovely with the most comfortable bed, fluffiest towels, and the room was so warm and plush. Excellent ladies Julie and Dee looking after our room even acting as bridesmaid to the car. We left feeling spoiled and special. We'll definitely be back when next in the area 💕

So we visited Devonshire Arms last night for my 50th birthday. The building is stunning inside and out. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Definitely handmade. The service was fantastic. Everything came out quickly. The bar had a great selection of beer, lagers and ales even cask ales. I highly recommend this place and we can't wait to visit again. I think our total bill was around £340 for fourteen people, and that's great value for money. Definitely, pay a visit to Devonshire arms

We've stayed here twice now, in different rooms, and both were absolutely delightful. Spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Small fridge and coffee machine in each room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't fault it. One Friday in the month they have live music, which was very good and didn't finish too late. Every bit of food we had was delicious. Highly recommend this place. And their gin...😋

Love coming here for Sunday dinner or in the week for food and drinks. Such a great range and the food has always been so good that we also spent Christmas Day here. The staff are always so accommodating and friendly and I love seeing all the same faces when I go in. Kate, Danielle, Dylan and John are always super!! Great value for money for a great service and product!!

An amazing fast food place! Last time I visited Wendy’s was when I lived in Canada as a child in 1982 and this brought back many memories and the food was great! Service fantastic and even had a lady come over to the table to ask us how the food was! Our new fave place 🥰 Wendy’s Tally’s End, Barlborough, Chesterfield.

I had the Baconator, medium fries and spicy chicken nuggets. I really enjoyed it, very tasty and the spicy chicken was just right for me. The fries were as good as Five Guys so would definitely come back here again. I enjoyed the nuggets but my partner thought other brands were better.

A lovely well presented room, nicely furnished. Comfy beds and smart modern decor. Very handy for an evening in Sheffield at the theatre. Quiet setting with lovely views. Beautifully clean and well done overall. We will use again if we’re up this way, it was so handy, and the price was excellent.

Despite other people saying the clientele aren't people they would mix with, I have to disagree. People are very friendly even if you are from out of town, I know because I go there. Atmosphere is calm and funny. Look out for Ziggy the dog, absolutely gorgeous and a gentle giant.

Landlady and staff very friendly. It was a shame the kitchen was shut but it is January! The bar was very dog friendly, with dog treats. The resin art around the bar was lovely. We would use this pub again, close to the M1 but not noisy.

This place was amazing from walking in. The staff was very friendly, the food was so tasty, especially the corn bread. I would definitely make the journey again to this pub . I can't say anything bad about this place. Everything was perfect 👌

Food overall was good, some bits could be better like the steak was overcooked quite a bit for two of us. Service was good throughout; would have been nice to be able to get the bill but that may be preference and the fact it was later on so not as many staff about. It was lovely and quiet, not too busy so you weren't rushed or crammed next to people, but busy enough to give a good atmosphere.

This was our first visit to this harvester, and I must say from the minute we walked in our service from Grace our waitress was amazing, told us how everything worked, told us about what draft beers were available. Took our food orders and we also had the unlimited salad bar, which we all enjoyed, when the food came out, it was presented really nicely, and all our dishes we ordered were all delicious, Grace came back to table half way through to check we were all happy with our food, honestly this was one of the best experiences i have had from a restaurant for a long time.we will definitely go back

1st time visiting today since the Treble Bob has undergone a refurbishment, and nothing major has changed. The decor is more modern and it feels brighter inside. We ordered 2 main meals and 2 children's meals and although one of the mains was OK, the steak that I ordered was overdone. However, once I mentioned this to the service staff, they dealt with it without fuss and proceeded to provide me with a full replacement meal (see picture). I would just like to thank Savannah for her attentive service, without which we may have felt more disappointed with our visit.

Nice bar. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Lots of large TV's for sport, pool table and darts. Jukebox too. Very modern looking inside. I'd say it possibly had a recent makeover. Deceiving from the outside as its has that classic older pub look. Enjoyed my visit and highly recommend. Dog friendly which is a big plus.

Ah, the Mossbrook Inn. Picture this: it’s a Friday night, the place is buzzing, and my hopes of getting a table without a reservation are about as high as my chances of winning a game of Monopoly against my wife (zero). But, miraculously, they squeezed us in like we were long-lost relatives—they’re already winning points. I ordered the “Dirty Burger,” and let me tell you, it lives up to its name. It’s the kind of burger that makes you question your life choices, like, “Should I really be eating this much cheese?” (Yes, yes you should). It was stacked so high, I felt like I needed climbing gear to get through it. The patty was juicy and I’m pretty sure the burger bun whispered, “Welcome to flavor town,” as I took my first bite. To wash it down, I opted for an Old Fashioned because, you know, I’m classy like that. It was smooth, with just enough kick to remind me that I have responsibilities tomorrow—but not enough to make me care. The service? Absolute legends. Friendly and attentive! If you’re looking for a place that serves heart attacks on a plate and does it with a smile, Mossbrook Inn’s your spot.

What an amazing Valentines meal the food was outstanding and a special mention must go to Josh who helped me by giving us a more private table, so I could Pop the big question. ❤️💍 And she said Yes !!!!!

Great local pub & fantastic home cooked food.. yes Chip pan chips & everything! Value for money, top quality food & drink, Jordan was really clear with us about it being busy (2 parties) so there would be a delay on food, and on top of that him & Mandy (Mandy's first day in the restaurant) really looked after us. Would recommend & will return

Arrived at 12.15 showed to our table and ordered drinks , then ordered 2 starters 2 mains and a kids meal waited 45 minutes for starters to come out which were prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms which were lovely kids meal was burger and fries n beans , our mains were chicken dinner with lumpy mash and pie and chips and mushy peas with gravy , which came with veg so had to send back , then came back with pie n chips n gravey had to ask again for mushy peas n few chips were raw , could understand if it was busy but was only us n few other tables eating . . .staff were very pleasent but don't think we would return as not very good how long we were left waiting for food to come out

We ordered a buffet for a large funeral and wow the food was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations, the quality and presentation of the food was excellent! Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the buffet from the sandwiches and canapés, to the home made cakes and the cheese board which in itself was out of this world! I can't thank the Rose and Crown enough for there help with the buffet as the list of items we wanted was extensive but everything was met and the Service was also 5 star thank you!

Stayed in the ibis barlbourgh regularly over the last two years love it can't complain about anything except this time Xmas eve out of the room all day visiting family came back out clothes were on the floor taken out of our weekend bag and a sleeve of cigarettes missing reported it one staff member said he had never seen the cleaners before who did our room the manager said she's been there 5 years !!!!! Time to find a new hotel

The room was very clean and tidy. I have a bad back so finding the right mattress is difficult, however i had no issues sleeping here. Everybody has a smile on their face and very polite! Thank you all for your hard work 🙏
