We booked a family birthday celebration meal for 15 people. We booked last minute as we couldn't find anywhere to go for food and have had lovely meals in the past here. We were very impressed at how organised they were when it came to getting all of us seated within the establishment. After ordering our food there was a slight delay but with the amount of guests and how busy it was we expected to wait a little while. The staff were lovely and friendly and our food arrived piping hot for every guest. We will definitely be back for more meals in the future.
So ...we dropped in for the first time today. The welcome from both Jackie and Regan was amazing. The care over my allergy (gluten) was second to none...hence this was a fantastic first visit and hopefully one of many to come. Maggie May loved it too..🐾🐾
Always a very warm welcome by all the team who work tirelessly to please. The food is always consistently good,’along with an excellent choice of real ales, even more so recently, after a request to add Proper Job as one of the regular beers, which is extremely popular with many of the locals. Also pleased to see the fire in the bar area has now been fixed which is great to see, an encouragement to stay longer in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Very nice pub with great food. Ordered Aubergine Parmigiana with a side of Mac and Cheese, partner had Sausages and Mash with a side of Broccoli. For dessert we had the Banoffee Pie and the Crumble. Had a drink each, and came out to just over £60 all in. We enjoyed everything, not a single complaint to make. The service was good too. There is parking, and the location in the middle of the village is wonderful. We look forward to coming back, with family and friends in tow.
