My daughter had lessons with Anpu for nearly two years and has recently had confirmation of a pass mark for the Sutton schools second stage entrance exam. The workload was high, but I felt confident that more advanced topics were being taught above what she was learning at school in years 4 and 5 - particularly in maths. I appreciated the detailed feedback that Anpu gave after lessons, and his dedication to ensuring as much tuition time was available in the run-up to the exams. Great tuition with amazing tutor. 'Sir is an fantastic tutor with fantastic skills. He also makes it fun and tries his best, so we can all understand it. After visiting several 11+ tutors in the area, we came across Champions Tuition. After a short introduction which included their business aims and their teaching methods, we decided to go with them. Best decision ever. With their coaching and teaching methods, my son's confidence grew and he was able to sit his 11+ with confidence in his abilities. Whilst he missed out on a Grammer place by less than 12 marks, he is in a mainstream school, in the top set and is working at a level set for year 10/11 students despite being in year 7. My son has been using Champions Tuition since the summer months. Champion Tuition was recommended to us by other parents in his primary school as a very professional and outstanding tutoring service. Within days from joining Champions Tuition my son became very responsible about his homework and his goals (passing his exams to secondary school). Anpu the founder of Champions Tuition has outstanding pedagogical and pastoral skills. The children respond to him very well and he certainly knows how to motivate them. The same can be said about the whole team of tutors at Champions Tuition. Champions Tuition also offers online classes which is very convenient if you are not local or unable to take your child to the class on a certain day. The curriculum covered during tuition is tailor made for the children's level and prepares them thoroughly for specific exams, e.g. in our case 11+ and private schools entry exams. The choice of teaching resources is second to none. The children practice using previous years' exams papers from the best grammar schools in England. The tutors also recommend extra books and learning resources. They take a lot of care in ensuring that the child makes a steady progress. Each homework is marked and discussed with the child. The children need to present corrections of their work to the tutor, which helps them consolidate their knowledge. A detailed feedback is given to the parents after each lesson. I highly recommend Champions Tuition, especially to parents whose children want to take 11+ and other entry exams on different levels. Nick is a fantastic tutor. My son had to take some time off school due to illness and Nick created engaging and challenging sessions over the summer to ensure Oscar caught up ahead of year 10. Oscar throughly enjoys each session and feels confident going into an important year after the summer break. Nick is an excellent and highly qualified tutor. He played a huge part in the achievement of my daughter's GCSE. From the beginning, he offered a lot of help and was very efficient in his lessons. My daughter has often surprised me with the variety of ways to solve a problem, and this is down to Nick, who has highly influenced her way of thinking . At the end of each lesson, Nick always gives feedback and homework for the next lesson.Nick increases her confidence, and by improving her grades significantly, she will now be doing Maths A level. My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. Advantage Tuition - massive thank you for taking our daughter through the 11+ tests, providing her with the knowledge and confidence to pass the test and an opportunity to go to Grammar School. Grand tutors is an excellent tutoring school. My son attended the school for only 7 weeks during the Summer holiday, and then went on to pass the 11 plus with a high score. Grand tutors gave my son the tools and the knowledge to pass the Grammar test on a very short time scale. The tutor is dedicated to her pupils and always gives encouragement and praise. My son enjoyed every lesson and was always keen to attend his next class. He also won the end of year 11 plus Mock exam , and is now achieving well above his expected levels in Maths and English at his Junior school. Having moved from South Africa in December 2022 our daughter started schooling in Sevenoaks in January 2023. She started midway of way year 4 and did not do year 3 due to age and different schooling models. Matt took on our daughter for 11plus lessons and it was onwards up. My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.
