Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the different areas of the curriculum and 11+ but he also has a way of making the children believe in themselves, giving them the confidence they need to succeed. Richard treats each child as an individual, tailoring his sessions to what the child needs as opposed to a ‘one hat fits all’ approach. He also gives you detailed feedback on your child’s progress and provides valuable advice for moving your child forward. Both my children enjoy going to Richard and do not see it as a chore. I am doing my A level tuition with Claire and the team and I am very impressed and satisfied how they doing their job. Especially Claire a very kind and a welcoming person and she helped me with my A level when I struggled at the beginning. We began with Set4Success in September, a full year before the 11+ exams, scheduling twice-weekly sessions with one of their outstanding teachers, Xavier. Thanks to his guidance, our son also achieved an A* in 5th grade for Maths and English, setting a strong foundation for passing the 11+ exam in year 6. The team at Set4Success is incredibly supportive, genuinely invested in each child's success, and offers ample mock exam opportunities to monitor progress and build confidence. Our son passed his Kent Test with ease, and we’re truly grateful for the team’s flexibility and understanding, especially as we approached the final exam. My Daughter went to set4success for 11+ tuition and passed this year. It's a lovely, relaxed learning environment that she really enjoys going to, inspired to learn through the lovely teacher and grammar school students. We are going to continue having lessons until year 7 as it has really supplemented primary school and is a great confidence boost! What's more my Daughter has asked herself to continue as she enjoys it so much! It's been wonderful watching her grow in confidence and has done her an absolute power of good!! Kip McGrath offer a brilliant tutoring service in Folkestone. Thanks to them my son passed the local Grammar School Test. I couldn’t thank them enough. My son made very steady and very fast progress with his maths ,all due to the amazing mathematics program Kumon has got in place. Kumon built confidence in him which he did not have at the time of joining.He started getting good remarks from the school which was very thrilling to hear. I recommend Kumon to any kid at any grade as it’s never late to start with Kumon, The team there are excellent at how to take your kid to the higher gear within a very short space of time.

Review of Kumon Ashford south I decided to register my children into Kumon to prepare them for school. To introduce them to learning within a group, and Kumon did not disappoint, but the real reward of Kumon came during the pandemic when we had to home school, my children found learning from home very easy as they are used to doing their kumon work daily at home. As the effects of the pandemic lingers on, I am confident that my children are still learning to their full potential as they continue to do their Kumon learning in addition to their school work.

My daughter has been attending this tution for almost around two years and she always comes back with a smile on her face and telling me all about what she did 🤣 She absolutely loves it and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime sooner! She also mentions how her tutors are so kind and nice(Beth, Klara) and aswell as the managers! My daughter enjoys her 11+ and usual two hours on a Wednesday!

My daughter has been attending Explore Ashford for a few months now and loves every minute of it! The tutors interact with the children with such enthusiasm and bring a different concept to learning - Elise can’t wait to attend every lesson and her confidence has improved tenfold. I would highly recommend Explore learning for any child. It is also a great insight for parents on how their children are achieving as the tutors keep you updated every session, via mail and by 121 update meetings. Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. I’ll be forever grateful and can’t recommend Vicky enough, education is so important and Vicky teaches in a patient and empowering way!

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Mr C was an excellent tutor. He was very welcoming and my daughter enjoyed all her lessons with him. He made lessons fun for her - we still play some of the games he taught her - and he was very good at explaining topics that she found difficult. She retained all the information he gave her. He was happy to tailor classes according to her needs. He was also very generous in terms of his time and with work materials as well. I highly recommend him.

I have a child diagnosed with ADHD. Richard was accommodating, a pleasure to deal with, friendly and professional and my kid bounced into every lesson with a positive attitude. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. Oh and he got my kid to pass the Kent test with flying colours. Will definitely return to try to get my younger kid to also be tutored by him in the coming years.

Marolyn is a fantastic experienced tutor. My daughter came to Marolyn late on however she knew exactly what to work on and I knew that having Marolyn would give my daughter the best possible chance of passing. I have found out today my daughter has passed both the Shepway and Kent test. I would 100 percent recommend!

Marolyn is an experienced, excellent tutor. Expect to work hard and you will be in good hands. Our child needed to prepare for the Kent and Shepway Tests.
