Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. She made sessions fun and motivating, with rewards like sweets or little toys at the end of each session (delivered to our doorstep during lockdown!) and mini competitions between her pupils over a number of sessions for bigger prizes. I would highly recommend Leesa to other parents looking for Kent test tutoring for their child.

Our children have had Frank for Maths tuition for a number of years, and more recently the Sciences also. He made lessons fun & gave them confidence. I believe a child really needs to like someone if they're to learn well, & both my kids really like him! I am sure their recent good GCSE results reflect the quality of their learning with Frank. Leesa tutored my daughter through statistics and maths GCSE. Despite having to get up early on a Saturday morning, my daughter very much enjoyed working with Leesa, who helped to improve her confidence and ability, supporting her to pass both subjects. Now keen to signing up child number 2!

Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Kate has tutored all 3 of my children and they all enjoyed their time in Kate's lessons. All 3 did exceptionally well in their 11+ tests and this allowed them to all go to the local Grammar Schools. Tough teachers make the most difference - that’s so true for Favour. My daughter had a few tears initially in her classes, but once she got to grips, she not only became incredibly serious with her studies, but also became resilient, tough and confident. The testament to that is that my daughter developed severe covid symptoms just as the test started, but she defied all odds and sat through and smashed her Medway test with very high scores. Favour not only gave her the power of knowledge, but also developed her attitude to take on any challenges head on, my daughter is no longer the delicate little darling, but is a tough young girl now. Favour also shared a lot of useful resources in addition to her classes, which made it possible for us to revise at our own time. Thanks for all your support 🙏.

My daughter attended The Learning Academy for preparation for her 11plus, Kent test. The staff are professional, friendly and have a very calm and encouraging approach to teaching. I highly recommend The Learning Academy. My daughter started attending at the beginning of Year 5 in preparation for her 11+ exam. A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. My daughter joined Tecnis Academy online tutoring lessons with very little confidence in Maths, in year 4, but Tecnis turned this around. They offered extra 1-2-1 lessons to help support her which she thoroughly enjoyed. My daughter passed her 11+ grammar school examinations with flying colours. I was surprised when a friend recommended Tecnis Academy two years ago because it offered online tutoring. I thought it wouldn't be as effective as in-person tutoring, but Tecnis proved me wrong. My daughter began tutoring in year 4, and I must say that starting early gave her the confidence she needed to write and pass the exam without feeling pressured or anxious. As a parent, Tutu's monthly parents' evening has been quite beneficial. The information she supplied helped me make educated decisions about my daughter's education, such as scheduling mock tests, using a tracker to monitor their progress at Tecnis, and assisting her at home to consolidate her learning. Finally, I would recommend Tecnis to anyone whose child is studying for the year 11+ examinations because their staff are dedicated and well trained.
