Austin's Gardens were excellent when it came to designing, landscaping and planting my garden. Richard really listened to what I wanted, came up with imaginative ideas that fit my budget, and then delivered on time with work that was neat and professional throughout. He worked with other constructors (conservatory and driveway), and was flexible and an excellent communicator. Unreservedly recommend him and his team!

Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. Spending time in the garden today has proved a welcome escape from the wider world. I would highly recommend Austin Gardens and are now planning on getting the team to rework out back garden.

Richard, Lottie and Andrew were incredible at taking on our garden full of stone, brick and artificial grass and clearing it all to create the beginnings of a beautiful garden. They came at a really difficult personal time, and their kindness, patience and absolute competence allowed the work to continue without stress. It was wonderful to know that we could completely trust their advice and helped us make decisions as the project went on. They also went above and beyond to clean up the masses of mud created through such a big clearance job. Just a massive thank you to Richard and the team :)

What a marvellous experience from start to finish it was, working with Richard and his team to revamp my formal front garden! Richard is patient and exceedingly knowledgeable and kept me fully informed and engaged every step of the way, from concept to completion. It was a pleasure to have Richard and Lottie working here. They kept an immaculate site and were a positive pleasure to have around. Highly recommended and great bang for my buck, too!

Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

From the moment I met Shaun it was obvious his passion was garden design. I explained what I would like from my mud pit, weed filled garden and Shaun got to work with a design. He totally took on board what I wanted and came back with a design that ticked all the boxes and the finished garden is a space that we can all enjoy now! The quality, workmanship and attention to detail from Shaun & Calum is outstanding, going over and above to make the space the best it could possibly be for us. Callum and Kieran delivered exactly what we were wanting in our garden remodel. Both worked with us to come up with practical and aesthetic ideas for our previously rundown garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we’ve never dealt with more polite young men. As well as keeping us informed at every stage of the process, they were always keen to ask how each element of the garden would best suit our needs, whilst remaining realistic in what would both look and work best for our space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we couldn’t be happier with our new garden, just in time for Summer!

We have just had our front and rear garden plus our driveway completely remodelled by Wren fencing and landscaping. I am so pleased with what Luke and his team have done. Luke and his team did a fantastic job transforming our Victorian courtyard garden. We used the designed Marco who Luke recommended and the process was great. Everyone worked incredibly hard and Luke was very hands on and involved on a daily basis. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and I would recommend Wren without a second doubt.

Excellent Job. I had a row of substantial overgrown conifers next to a train line and a large hedge to trim back. Our gardens were very overgrown with hedges, shrubs, fruit trees and conifers needing trimming/pruning. An excellent job was carried out and all cuttings were taken away leaving everywhere neat and tidy. All done quickly and at a good price. Would recommend and will be returning customers.

Lee & Co did an amazing job of clearing an old scruffy garage and unused, overgrown space at the end of our garden, and creating a beautiful pergola and seating /socialising area, with raised beds for growing, all fully fenced in (ours is the garden in the makeover video). It more than doubled our use of the garden and years later is still money well spent. Lee was fantastic at advising on the best materials available within our budget and where not to cut corners. He helped to bring our vision to life - was reliable, friendly and totally trustworthy, making brilliant progress, even when we weren’t in. His attention to detail, craftsmanship and the quality of work is amazing. Safe to say the work he did was life-changing for how we use our outdoor space and has brought us so much pleasure. Lee has renovated my kitchen which included painting, tiling, flooring and rectifying work completed by other trade persons. His work was amazing and carried out in a professional manner. I can not praise Dean enough, he has recently helped me out clearing out a very overgrown area and would not accept any payment for it. The quality of the work that he provides is always first class. Over the years he has done numerous jobs for myself and my family, he is always prompt, polite and very knowledgeable about all aspects of his business. He will always stay until the job is complete and leaves your property immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!!

Dean arranged for hedges and trees to be cut back behind a commercial office block. This was done speedily and professionally. Would recommend and use again!

Highly recommend, very polite and professional, good communication. Also, very clean and tidy. We had a large porcelain patio done and boundary wall built up in our garden with wall coping. We love the patio and done to an high standard and our neighbours even commented how great it looks. We would definitely use this company again and recommend, especially if you want a patio doing in either porcelain or Indian stone.

Absolutely superb service and professionalism from HG Gardening, I can't recommend them highly enough. Punctual, reliable, efficient, excellent attention to detail and extremely good value for money. Please read on for a more detailed review: Our back garden needed a complete renovation. We were wanting a raised patio completely ripping out and having most of the garden on one level, a summerhouse tearing down and removing the flags from underneath, new turf laying, new fencing, a platform sloping down to the garden from the back door and a new porcelain tiled patio area... so a big job. We spoke to a few landscape gardeners and explained our vision for our garden and what we were looking for. Ben at HG Gardening was by far the most enthusiastic that we spoke to and we immediately felt that Ben understood exactly what we were after. Using his experience, sound knowledge and technical expertise he was able to offer advice and provide ideas that we hadn't thought of that we ended up going with (so happy that we did) and he assured us that what we wanted was do-able as he could fit a digger through our garage door to use for the removal of the patio (the biggest part of the job). Ben's quote was also the lowest price that we received, but I was assured that nothing was done on the cheap and only the best quality available materials would be used, as proved to be the case. Ben and his co-workers were extremely punctual, always turned up on-time and didn't stop working the whole time they were here. I can't believe how quickly the job was completed considering the work that needed doing. They were extremely polite, reliable, and efficient. We are absolutely overjoyed with the work that HG Gardening have carried out. Top quality and very high standard. I would just like to say a massive thank you to Graham for taking my garden work on. From start to finish the lads have being awesome and I'm quite picky with tradesmen but have to say that Tom and Shaun have been brilliant and do work thier socks off and the finish product is awesome. I've had my front lawn taken up, cultivated and returfed and the back garden fence has been pulled down and a new one put up. The lads were punctual, reliable, friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall if I need anymore work doing then these are my go to indeed and will be recommending them to others

Graham and his team were excellent. Friendly, hard-working and a great price. The lads turned up early every day and did a fantastic job. Turned our derelict garden into a gorgeous patio and level grass area within a couple of weeks, around 140sqm. Their ideas on how to solve tricky challenges with differing heights and awkward corners were well thought out and their attention to detail was outstanding, they really care about what they do. My mum has just had her garden done and this is her feedback.... A job very well done by Graham and his team. We just had our back garden transformed, with new bespoke tiles and some beautiful looking steps, spaced out safely to avoid falling and made larger than before to give more depth to the overall look, which is stunning and will be so much easier for us to maintain.
