Absolutely delighted with a recent rewire that Tom has just completed at my mother’s house. My mother is elderly and obviously having such a big job completed at the age of 81 is very difficult . From the start, we were given detailed estimates, clear breakdowns of costs and also verbally explained what needed doing . Tom is professional, extremely hard working and a true gentleman in the way he respected my mother and explained things. The wiring was over 70 years old, and throughout he showed us the work he was doing and also the old wires that he had replaced . We also decided to ask to have additional work completed as well in terms of fitting security lights attached outside as well. The floor boards all put back perfectly and tidied up as he went along . At the end we were given receipts, detailed paperwork to say exactly what work he had completed and all the appropriate electrical certificates, as well as written guarantees. Professional, punctual and friendly service. Mick Reeves arrived at the time arranged. He fitted my alarm with no damage to paintwork etc. He made sure my home was left clean and tidy. He explained in detail how the alarm system works and even installed and set up the app on my phone. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again if I needed any service’s that they offer.

Fitted a range of garden lights - professional and timely service. Would 100% recommend

We needed a new sensor passageway light and,as the original installer seemed disinterested,contacted Lathom Electrical Contractors. Joe,who was friendly and chatty,fitted the new light. There was a minor issue (not the fault of Lathom Electrical) which Joe eventually (kindly) came out again to rectify,at the end of what had been a nightmare of a Friday for him! Dan communicated well,and seemed genuinely interested in customer service,unlike many tradespeople we've dealt with. From now on,when we need electrical jobs doing we'll be coming to Lathom Electrical Contractors!
