I've been going to Pontefract dental care for a few years now and would highly recommend them. The practice is clean and modern with really helpful friendly staff. The booking system is very organised and the reception team usually call prior to appointments as a reminder which is really handy. The dentists and nurses are wonderful, I've never had any pain during the procedures I've had, and they've filled me with confidence each time. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. 10***********

I recently visited after a veneer cracked and fell off (fitted elsewhere years ago), they managed to get me an appointment quickly and Raj did an amazing job of rebuilding my tooth so I could smile again! My new tooth looks 100 times better than what I had and natural, don’t know how he did it! I’ll definitely be back for more work I need in the future. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely over the moon with the team at one smile. My daughter has recently had braces fitted and the whole process has been so easy. Our autistic and learning disabled daughter has been with One Smile Dental to get her brace sorted. All the staff have been amazing with her, so patient, considerate and kind. But I want to make special mention of the dental nurse, Hayley, who was so wonderful with our daughter when doing all the x-rays, photos etc. What could have been a very stressful appointment was full of giggles and smiles. Our daughter still struggled with parts of it, but Hayley was so patient and so kind with her, and she never failed to make our daughter smile and get done, what needed doing. Thank you so much Hayley, you have no idea how much your kindness means to us and what a difference it made to her, she went home happy x

I am a patient at Advance Dental Care and I cannot praise them too highly. I have been with the practice for over 40 years and have received excellent service both from Mark, Lewis' father, and, now the baton has been passed to Lewis, it has been picked up and run with very smoothly indeed. Lewis is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. He is so very welcoming, extremely kind and a credit to his profession. I think of some of the dreadful experiences of 'the school dentist' when I was a girl-they seem a different breed to Lewis and his dad. All the staff at the practice are a delight, again warm and welcoming. Sophie, my hygienist, is always bright and chatty and leaves me with a sparkling mouth!!! I would say to anyone who is looking for a new dentist or if you are afraid of dental treatment look no further than Advance-you will be grateful you found them as I always have been.

Last week I had to have an emergency dentist appointment after being in a ridiculous amount of pain, (i am absolutely petrified of dentists) I managed to get an appointment the same day, was welcomed by a lovely reception team who made me feel at ease straight away, and then into a room with Dr Lewis, who made the experience so relaxed and explained everything in detail to help. I had to have a tooth extraction and managed to get booked in the following week, the experience itself was fast and I didn’t feel a thing, again the staff were lovely and made everything feel so calm and easy.

My first visit and I was very impressed. I am nervous when going to the dentist but the dentist and assistant put me at ease straight away. They gave me advice and took X Rays to show exactly condition of my gums. Gave me the time to understand what was needed and if I wanted to proceed. The hygienist was brilliant. Talking me through the process which put me at ease and I felt very confident in letting them do all what was necessary. They also explained how I needed to look after my teeth to ensure a good outcome thereby stopping problems before they happen. Highly recommend.

She takes the time to listen attentively, demonstrates outstanding clinical skills and knowledge, and provides exceptional patient-centered care. I am extremely satisfied with the work she performed on my crown. Additionally, the dental nurses are always friendly, and the reception team are both kind and compassionate, as well as highly organized. Overall, I have never had anything but positive experiences with this practice.

What a bright and friendly dental surgery. After an awful experience being neglected by my previous dentist. Shaheen ( dentist) and the nurse, Sarah really looked after me. I felt at ease as soon as spoke to the receptionist downstairs when I walked in, and that continued through to my appointment. My course of dental treatment finished last week ( I have a free review to take place in June) at AV Dental in South Kirkby. Mr Malik carried out the work. His workmanship went totally up and beyond my expectations. I can't thank Mr Malik and Lindsey his dental nurse enough. Also a thank you to Michelle on reception. My teeth look fantastic. AV Dental have been amazing and truly professional from my initial phone call. They made time for me and put me at ease that there is a way forward with my dental problems. Yesterday I collected my dentures which fit beautifully and even have the small detail of a painted gum line as my own had detiorated too far. Highly recommend AV Dental 👌. Went for an emergency appointment today and they could not have been more lovely. I was called in immediately where the dentist gave me informed treatment options, and I ended up having the offending tooth removed . All staff were friendly and welcoming 🙂

Dr Din was incredible, had me in urgently for a chipped tooth and put me at ease as I’m usually quite anxious at the dentist. Very clean and hygienic and all staff were very friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back, such a positive experience
