Had my first extraction June 23 - worried beforehand but quickly put at ease. Process was very quick and painless and site is healing well. I have been with this dentist for over 20 years and have always been impressed by David's, and all staff's, mix of excellent of professionalism, kindness and humanity.

I’ve been to this Dentists for around 20 years and I always recommend them. I feel very happy and safe, the treatments have always worked very well. The hygienists have given me great encouragement and advice. I usually see David Wright, occasionally Emma Whitley. I’m someone who used to experience unreasoning terror at the dentist after horrible childhood experiences, but I now feel completely relaxed, not stressed at all. What a relief!

The Dentists and staff are lovely here. They really care about patient welfare and are skilled at what they do. I think that’s very rare in this world so I wanted to come and leave a review. Their manager is lovely , you can tell the practice , staff and patients are all well looked after.

My appointment to have my teeth cleaned and polished today was a very positive experience. Isabel (hygienist) and Jennah (nurse) did a marvellous job, they are professional, thorough and very pleasant and make you feel at ease if you are nervous about such procedures. Providing useful tips on your personal oral hygiene and brushing techniques in order to prevent decay. My teeth are now sparkling and the best clean I have experienced over some time. I visited the hygenist Hayley today. Her and Amy were amazing. They both put me at ease and the banter between them made me forget about the fact that I hate visiting the dentist. I normally dread booking the next appointment but I was happy to book my next appointment. They are great assets to the Wood dental team.

I decided to go private after years of being too anxious to return to my previous NHS dentist following a bad visit. Mohammed Asif and Nurse Jess have been amazing from day one and always made me feel comfortable and welcome. I trust them completely and can't wait to see my final results in a few months time.

I saw Dr Khan for an emergency appointment. Wisdom tooth severely decayed and infected and pulp on display. Lots of excruciating pain. She was the only dentist active that day and was kind enough based on my pain levels to see me in between patients. She was very sweet and informative, she was empathetic and tried her absolute best to help me with my issue. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to extract my tooth because my roots are so long and bent, she referred me to hospital immediately and called me when referral was done. Very happy with the service and I plan on using the dental practice she works at for further treatment. Thank you very much Dr. khan. Have a great weekend

Having been to the Old Church Dental Practice and having always been worried by attending dentists, this group of specialists really do take that dread away. Moazzam is a real dental artist, kind and caring and the finished tooth is a work of art. Thelma is also kind and caring and a real specialist. Having had root canal treatment her work is precise and painless a real gem. In general, all team members are polite, always courteous and wanting to put you at your ease.

Since you arrive everyone is very welcoming. Dr. Pritchard and his assistant are the best! I’m normally an anxious patient and they made me feel very comfortable with my dental treatment. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you!

I have accompanied my mum to the Old Church for several years and their customer service is always superb. It’s a beautiful building, immaculate inside with a calm atmosphere. Each member of staff is so warm and welcoming they immediately put you at ease. I have never been to a more friendly practice where everyone is helpful, chatty and show genuine interest in their patients. My mum is very happy going there and looks forward to her regular visits as they treat her with the utmost care and respect.

I have been going to Hewett's dental for 20 years with my children and I can honestly say they are amazing. We have seen Seby for many many years and he is so lovely and puts you at ease immediately. He is amazing with our autistic child, who suffers from anxiety. I also suffer from anxiety and he puts me at ease also. I saw the hygienist yesterday for a filling and clean and polish and she was brilliant with me, I was extremely anxious, but she had a very calm demeanour and numbed the areas before injecting the anaesthetic so I didn't feel it. I wasn't the easiest of patients but she took her time with me and the result was fantastic!! I would highly recommend Hewett's to anyone, especially those who are nervous

I went for the first time to the Fresh Smile Clinic with my partner. I'm a comfortable person when it comes to dental appointments, whereas my partner not as much. The clinic was really nice and with comfortable atmosphere inside. The dentist who assisted us was super friendly and answered all our questions without hesitation. We were both very pleased overall and we'll surely be back again soon for our next dental appointment. I'd absolutely recommend this clinic to everyone.

Such a great team! Very knowledgeable with up to date technology. Clean environment way better then my last NHS dentist prices not to far off either. Very easy to get a appointment and overall very happy!

This place is fantastic if you are nervous. They really understand my anxiety. They take time to explain my treatment before and during treatment. They notice immediately if I am in distress and stop. Then we work out how to continue. I feel fully in control. They do not need to sedate me they work with me around my fears. The only drawback is no NHS you pay for what you get. But so well worth the cost if you are anxious.

I was referred to 57 Dental practice by my dentist for a restoration and root canal treatment. I have been seen by Hummaid for the initial assessment he was friendly, professional and explained everything to me clearly without dental jargon and made me feel at ease. I am so pleased to say he was able to restore my tooth and I will be returning next week for my root canal treatment. The staff at this practice are all friendly and helpful in giving accurate advice as I had some further questions. I would definitely recommend this practice for quality care and expertise in restoring your teeth and confidence.

Hadn't visited a dentist in over 15 years due to fear, was apprehensive about this appointment but my partner insisted we go. So glad I did, I was seen by TK, had a dental hygiene checkup, and my mouth has never felt so good. Excited to go back for more treatment as the pain I had in my gums has disappeared entirely. The staff at 57 Dental are top notch, very friendly, always have a smile, very polite, and are a credit to the business. If you are like me and have a fear of dentists, you need to come to 57, the fear will disappear.

The dentist is absolutely lovely, always honest and kind. I had to wait 45 minutes for my next appointment with the hygienist which was quite painful this time and I was soaked by the water. I asked the receptionist a simple question and her response was quite abrupt and rude as if I should know the answer. I was a bit disappointed with today’s service. Usually really good

I would highly recommend Dr Sia Lord as his work is amazing!!! I have never been happy with my teeth but since Sia fixed them with veneers and teeth whitening, I can now smile confidently! Can’t thank him enough! He is super friendly and could not have asked for a better dentist experience.

Dr Sia lord is an absolutely amazing dentist! He made me feel so relaxed and even had me laughing even though I’m terrified of dentists! The treatment I had was 100% painless and better still NO needles! I’ve recommended him to all my friends and will carry on. Always replies to messages on Instagram quickly and helpfully! Absolutely fantastic dentist! I could not recommend Dr Sia Lord Dentistry enough. From the consultation at the outset to having the deluxe whitening and composite bonding done the whole process was a breathe of fresh air! Sia listened to what I wanted to do with my smile and made sure that I came away with the perfect smile that I had asked for. All of it done was pain free too! He has given me the confidence to always be smiling! I am so unbelievably happy with my smile! If anyone is thinking about getting any cosmetic smile procedure done then this is the dentist for you he is both affordable and friendly! I will definitely not be going anywhere else!!

Really pleased with the results. My new teeth look so natural, which is the look I was going for. Unless you saw my smile before, you wouldn't know I have had them do. The process was very smooth from first consultation to the work being carried out. Sia recommendation of cosmetic bonding were spot on as he knew how I wanted my teeth to look once the work was completed. I highly recommend Sia and the professional work he does.

So glad I moved to Shine Dental from my old NHS practice. The service is excellent with regular scheduled appointments throughout the year that suit my busy diary, efficient reminders and nothing is too much trouble. I pay a small monthly fee that covers my dental needs and am so glad I made the switch!

The dental nurses , and both dentists Dee and Tobias who I have seen are incredibly professional in their approach. I was very nervous about this appointment as I had my 3 month old son with me but I had no childcare. I shouldn't have worried as Dee put my mind at rest and made me feel completely welcome with him and said there were enough people to settle him if needed (it was only a check up appointment). I was completely put at ease and whilst having my check up someone did come in to keep my son occupied which made the whole experience less stressful!

I have had bad experiences in the past with dental treatment and get very anxious. However Dee is extremely understanding, patient and kind. The practice has a relaxing atmosphere and all the staff are lovely. I couldn't recommend this dental practice enough. Thank you for being so kind.

Found Pearl during lockdown when other dentists turned me away with an agonising abcess, but these guys sorted it quickly - best discovery ever, lovely dentists, hygienist and admin staff. Everyone is so friendly and yet still professional, very sympathetic of my anxiety - which actually is pretty much gone now thanks to these guys - and the surgery is bright, stylish and modern, and fully equipped with the latest machines and equipment.

The most wonderful Dentist that really keeps my dentist anxiety at Bay. Don't get me wrong, I still feel anxious, I think I always will from childhood trauma, however I feel so much better with Pearl Dental, from the lovely ladies at reception, to the calming TV screens in the waiting room, to speaking to Narinder Who always makes me feel relaxed and is so lovely to talk too, and explains each step. I recently had to book an emergency appointment due to a troublesome tooth, and the care was brilliant, as always.

Delighted to be seen immediately after Xmas and Oliver sorted my broken tooth quickly and painlessly. All staff at Pearl Dental are always friendly and considerate. A really great practice.

My experience so far can only be judged by 3 visits and, they are as a result of a decimated NHS dental system forcing me and other people to pay private, whether we can afford or not. First off, without warning, I got removed from Whitehill Dental, Illingworth, Halifax after suffering 3 years tremors and hospital visits to see consultants, caused by an injection in my gum at their practice, that ended up in my upper and side of head! This has caused me further distress by no longer having an NHS Dentist. Non are taking on any NHS customers anywhere. Only private, expensive paying ones. I had to resort to desperate DIY attempts to try treat my broken, painful teeth but, unsuccessful. So, I attended a half price offer for a first check up at £40 at Pearl Dental. The result being, I need treatment that'll cost £3,035.00+ estimate. I've become a Carer for my legally blind wife for which I get a paltry £82 per week. As you can see, it'd take all £82 every week for 3 years to pay that £3,035.00! Fortunately, we have some savings that I'm having to use, despite that causing fall-outs with my wife, to pay for each part of this essential treatment. I've had 2 teeth done so far, costing £318.50. Front tooth seems okay. I've had to return 2 days later after the molar was still painful to cold and heat. The exposed dentine needed a 2 layer sealant covering. This hasn't worked as I hoped yet, so, I'm applying Sensodine toothpaste on it as advised by the 2nd dentist. This is ongoing today as I type. I'm hoping the discomfort will subside over the next week or so, especially as I'm reluctant to have to call again and, fear being charged (there was no charge for the sealant yesterday tho). I'll update later on this. As for the staff and practice, so far it's been a pleasant experience. Very polite and helpful. The dentists, a lady and, a gentleman, were very professional, welcoming and reassuring. I'll update my review (that Pearl Dentist welcomed me to do via email today) after some time, to see how things go, as required treatment is ongoing. My fear of dentists had sky-rocketed after the huge trauma experienced from my previous nightmare at Whitehill Dental. Thus, every appointment requires a lot of psyching up and, taking Kalms medication beforehand. But, my 3 visits so far, has helped reassure my fear (fear of injections remains extreemly high tho)
