I had white smoke billowing out of my t6, because I’ve had work done before by Lee I messaged him first as he’s my trusted go to garage. From start to finish the service was top level. Loads of communication, went through the van with a fine tooth comb to diagnose, gave me all the information in a way a non mechanically minded person can understand. Even though he’s an hour away I will not use another garage. If you have any VAG motor Lee should be your first call

Brought my vw tiguan to Lee and his team for a haldex service who then uncovered that the rear prop shaft dougnut was on its way out and showed me photos and a video he had taken and recommended it will need doing withing a couple of months so I booked it in for the following week to get done and was a quick turn around. Lee and his team was really friendly and would really recommend them and will be bringing taking my car back for any future repairs. Thank you

Would be 10 stars if possible. Had seen a few reviews for S A Motors in the caddy groups and thought I’d give them a try. Caddy was due it’s 30k service so it was a perfect opportunity. Initial contact made via phone and no problem getting booked in. Spoke to Lee on the phone and instant good feeling from the quick conversation. On the day I headed over the big hill to Halifax and arrived at what seems like a hidden part of town. I pulled up in the car park outside and was instantly treated to a warm welcome by a couple of the team. It’s always a pleasure to arrive somewhere new and have people take time out for a chat. The lads there are obviously caddy fans and that’s another tick in the box for me. Lee gave me a time when the caddy would be ready and I headed off to Leeds for the day. Couple of hours later I got a call to say that they had inspected the van and that the rear brakes could do with changing. Well that was fine and I’d asked for them to be checked anyway and made sense to get them done whilst having the service. When I headed back at the time stated the caddy was all ready and just finished a test drive. Only the required work was undertaken after previous online history had been checked and everything uploaded onto the electronic history systems. So in summary. Great team, good prices, easy location with train station close by and a warm northern welcome when you arrive. What more could you want. Will definitely be taking the caddy back for all future service needs

I bought a golf gti club sport earlier on in the year. I Took it to Lee and the boys for a health check and it turned out to be terrible. They helped me out and gave me some good advise and I managed to get my money back for the car. I ended up buying a car that Lee had previously owned, which was immaculate. The guys who work at this garage are fantastic. I've been a regular here for the last 3 years and their service is 10/10. As a woman there's always the worry you'll get belittled and or over charged, but not with these guys. One of the little things I really appreciate is the bits of education I get on my car. Great garage with a very honest appraisal of your car. I took my Vauxhall embarrassment (not an outing correct error. That’s what I call it) in for works. Tim was fantastically straight forward in telling me what was wrong with my car and suggested on how to proceed. All before even putting spanner to car. Thus saving me a big bill. The works I had carried out (a service) improved the Embarrassments driving experience somewhat. Telling me that Tim and the boys did a good job on such a bag of sheet. Highly recommended for those who are unsure and wary of garages and mechanics. Or just don’t know about cars. Good honest guys. 👍🏻👍🏻

What fantastic service we received from these guys today. We're on holiday in our motorhome and had a problem with the exhaust system. Bring it straight round and we'll do our best, they said. They put it straight on the ramp and said it will be sorted within the hour. They even gave us a lift to the cafe for breakfast...then picked us up again when the job was done...all for a fantastic price. Beyond excellent service 👏 👌

My car started to make an unusual grinding sound. It turned out to be a stone stuck behind the brake disc. Holmfield MOT & Repairs didn’t charge for the removal. I also had a service & MOT in late 2024 and the works needed were a good price, a different company quoted multiple thousands! Very good professional garage. Been for big and small jobs and they are always fairly priced and their work seems to have done the job as my car has never had any issues after going to them. Always quick, communicative. Couldn't really ask for much more.

I called Balmoral when miles from home I had a flat battery with stupidly no breakdown cover. They came out and jump started with no fuss and the cost was extremely reasonable, even though I was clearly desperate and they could have charged an awful lot more. These guys seem proper genuine and if I lived closer I would definitely be bringing my car here in future. Thanks a lot

Used Battinson for the first time recently after someone recommended them following issues with my usual garage. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, kept me informed and even gave the car a quick wash before returning it. I especially like the invoice being emailed as well as printed and like the keen eye for detail such as the new locking wheel nut bag, service record etc, small things but customers love it! So today just had a brake light out took it to Halfords ( can't fit that it has a bolt on the back) was going to charge me 14 pounds 52p take it to the garage across the road they said. Took it to my local garage Battinson fixed free of charge What a service.
