I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

I recently took my wife’s Range Rover Evoque to Parkside Garage on the back of not being able to source availability in my home town garages in Halifax. Words cannot express the service I received from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left with the vehicle. They initially gave me a time scale of after Christmas due to their work loads. Not even a week passed and I received a call to say the car was ready. The receptionist recognised how distressed I was initially and told Me not to worry they would do their very best to get us back on the road. This was certainly over and beyond expectations and did not even break the bank. Guys this is not your average garage. If you want your car looking after these are the guys that will have your back. Will definitely recommend and use again

Absolutely fantastic service from the Parkside team. Can’t thank everyone at Parkside enough for looking at my car the day after experiencing a fault, whilst driving. After having a look at my Jaguar I Pace they confirmed there were not any faults and did not even charge me as they said they didn’t do need to do any work! Nothing but good words for this garage. I had a driving holiday booked to France and 3 days before the timing chain went on my BMW X1. I was quoted extortionate amounts and some garages didn't even want to take the job on. Michael and his lads worked tirelessly through the night to get my vehicle back on the road in time for my holiday. Not many genuine mechanics left in huddersfield but it's safe to say these guys definitely are. Can't recommend them enough. Top quality services from genuine lads who just want to do their job!

Went in for my van mot and a very good service was provided with a good explanation of things that will be needed in the future but not now, this is fantastic as then you can plan for spending in the up and coming months. Awesome garage great chaps! After many horrendous experiences with mechanics I'm am thrilled to say I've found a good one! Managed to get squeezed in same week for timing belts, pump, full service and a vehicle inspection. He went above and beyond, really combed over my car and gave it some love and for a fraction of the price of other local firms. Can't Reccomend enough, will use again. Thankyou!

Do not be put off by how this place looks from the outside or inside. It's a small garage run by the nicest guy in the world. I had a tyre fitted 6 months ago as it was close to work and was convenient for me and wasn't expecting anything exceptional. JUST HOW WRONG COULD I OF BEEN. I drive an 08 plate car and I've been told numerous times by other tyre places that I need my alloys replacing because the tyres always lose pressure. Then BOOM I came here. Seriously what a professional. After taking my old tyre off, he cleaned my alloy with an angle grinder with a wire wheel disk so removing surface rust. Fits the new tyre and I've never lost any pressure since. Turns out that the other tyre places are just shit at there jobs. Infact I'd go as saying that until he changed my tyre. I've never had a tyre fitted correctly before. I had another tyre fitted today and again so professionally done. He is totally my tyre guy FOREVER.

My Seat Leon broke down while I was on holiday in Cornwall due to engine issues, it was towed to a local garage. This was a large RAC-approved garage with multiple "Master Technicians", it took them three weeks just to tell me they couldn't find the cause and repair, they charged me £200 for looking at it, I thought that was it for the car. I had my car towed back to Huddersfield. Based on a family recommendation decided to get in touch with AS Tyres and they agreed to take a look. They performed a diagnostic of the engine within a couple days and after checking each component of the engine kept me updated throughout the process. They were able to find the cause, repair the engine then carry out a service giving me piece of mind and getting my car back on the road within a week. It was such a friendly honest service and also reasonably priced, Many thanks to AS Tyres!"

Couldn’t be happier! After being lied to by two multinational tyre companies (one starting with a K and one with an H) the puncture on my Bentley was plugged in about 30 minutes, its perfect! A very polite and knowledgable man and a pleasure to do business with!

We've rarely met a professional mechanic in the motor trade as genuine as Adrian from AV Motors in Skelmanthorpe. We were in desperate need of expert assistance with our vehicle and, being hundreds of miles away from home, we felt anxious that we might not be able to drive back. Adrian offered to help, despite being totally booked up with other work. He truly was our savior. Not only was he speedy, but he thoroughly checked & fixed our vehicle, getting us back on the road with a cheery smile & his great, no nonsense, Yorkshire attitude. Great local garage with a friendly owner, Gordon Walker, who always provides a great service at honest prices. I have used the garage for 10+ years and have never had reason for complaint. No problem using your own provided parts, though make sure they are the correct ones, but even if not you don't get ripped off. Highly recommended.

Only just started using Walker's Garage on the the recommendation of a neighbour who is very particular about how and who services his vehicles. Gordon is a proper mechanic who knows what he is talking about. He goes over and above and if he sees some small job in addition to what your vehicle is in for he will fix it, often at no additional cost. Always provides good advice and his prices are very competitive. Update - still as good as ever, great advice fabulous service and two value for money.

Had an MOT booked today for my Ford Fiesta and was very pleased with the service I received. After years of struggling to find a trustworthy garage in Huddersfield, I believe I’ve finally found one. The MOT passed at a great price, and my partner’s car was also booked in without any issues. I’ve since arranged further work with Marsh Garage. Unlike a previous local garage that overcharged me for unnecessary repairs, this garage was honest and transparent. Highly recommended. Very easy to deal with. Brilliant service from Mark today. First time customer, recommended by my brother in law having been let down by another mechanic. Issue with seized brake calipers which Mark quickly diagnosed and ordered the likely replacement part. Upon inspection though, the part just needed freeing up not replacing and he agreed to add the inspection charge to the next bill. Thoroughly impressed with Marsh Garage, will certainly be bringing my vehicles back for maintenance and MOT. Thanks Mark, knowing what advice to trust with car related stuff can be tricky. Really good to receive up front guidance and honest, professional customer service. Highly recommended.

Amazing value for money! After the main dealer quoted £180 just to diagnose the fault, these guys managed to diagnose it and fix it for less than £100! And managed to squeeze my repair in within 2 days of my first call. Couldn't be happier, they were helpful, friendly and professional. I'll definitely use them again!!
