I recently took my wife’s Range Rover Evoque to Parkside Garage on the back of not being able to source availability in my home town garages in Halifax. Words cannot express the service I received from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left with the vehicle. They initially gave me a time scale of after Christmas due to their work loads. Not even a week passed and I received a call to say the car was ready. The receptionist recognised how distressed I was initially and told Me not to worry they would do their very best to get us back on the road. This was certainly over and beyond expectations and did not even break the bank. Guys this is not your average garage. If you want your car looking after these are the guys that will have your back. Will definitely recommend and use again

Having been quoted hundreds of pounds from Halfords for various ‘problems’ with our car and an MOT, I looked for a second opinion. Andrew, the owner, was able to have a look at the car when I dropped it off early. He disregarded any ‘faults’ identified by Halfords and checked the car himself. He identified genuine faults and gave an honest price for the repairs which came in several hundred pounds less than that quoted by Halfords. We have been ripped off by so many garages in the past and it is reassuring to find a genuinely trustworthy garage. As Andrew told me, he’s been fixing cars for 45 years and he knows what he is doing! I will certainly be returning to Reliance next time and would recommend the garage without hesitation.

I booked my car in for an MOT and for the source of a myriad of amber warning lights to be investigated. Andrew France and his employee, Richard were helpful, professional and explained everything clearly and kindly to me, which was reassuring when you don’t know anything about cars. The cost was very fair and I will definitely use this garage again, in addition to recommending it to other people.

I needed to have an urgent MOT carried out on my car (prior to its sale on Friday). The garage were so helpful and said that if I dropped it down to them, that they would fit it in today for me. Excellent garage. Never had an issue with them. And usually able to get me in at short notice, for services, oil changes and MOT work on my Astra J various other cars. Last big job was replacing the aircon compressor on my Astra J last year (which I supplied) and they warned there might be a leak, but nearly 12 months on, its still working fine.

Got booked in a couple days in advance to diagnose a concerning noise from the exhaust, turned up the afternoon before to drop the car off and they checked it out quickly while I was there. Diagnosed the problem in minutes and ordered the part. Got it fitted and was on my way the following afternoon. Knowledgeable and friendly staff wouldn't hesitate to take my cars here again

From start to finish, my experience with using Five Star was brilliant. They got me booked in very quickly over the Xmas period, and kept in touch throughout the day letting me know how things were progressing. My car was ready very quickly, and had even been washed and cleaned. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable - this was my first time using them and I’ll be a returning customer from now on.

Fantastic customer service, initially called up to enquire about topping up my AC. Excellent service, very fair prices and honest prices. Was expecting a full clutch replacement but when collected they were honest and only charged me for the work that needed doing (master cylinder replacement). Total price also included roadside collection when my car originally broke down at a very good price compared to other companies. Efficient service overall.
