Dave is a top lad, spent over 3 hours on my car stripping it down, nothing seemed too much trouble. Found that the part he'd been sent was wrong, and put the car back together to sort out another day with the correct part when it came. His charge was VERY competitive. Already arranged for the correct part to be fitted. Highly recommended.

Cannot speak more highly of Dave. Polite and knowledgeable, no question was left unanswered. Did a major service and timing belt replacement on my skoda and the car runs like a dream now. I could not be happier with the service I received from Neil & the team at Bentley. Neil was an absolute joy to deal with, he booked my car in at relatively short notice to replace some knackered wheel studs, and had the work done within no time at all. Well I've been coming hear for many many years , I've never had a bad experience. The main bloke Neil is more of a friend to me than just someone who repairs my car. He's genuine honest and very fair with his prices. Quick at getting my car sorted and back on the road. You pay for what you get and I just can't complain at all. Such a refreshing change to get some honest to goodness service. Yes I'm old enough to remember what that entails. With a week left to run on my MOT I was full panic when I rang Neil, but he sorted me out, bless him. He really is an honest mechanic. He'll let you know what needs doing now or if it can wait. Friendly, approachable and reasonable. For those of us without any real idea about cars he is an absolute treasure, he doesn't hard sell or push unnecessary work. I am sure I am not the only female who gets intimidated at the thought of going into a male environment like a garage! Really friendly and informative and will talk to you and explain what they've done and treat you like a human and not just try and give you the keys and get rid of you happy with the service (may have found my new place to go to) 👍 New update Had car taken back in due to engine cutting out thought it may have been a fault with some work they did last/first time I went after taking it back (didn't book) but they was more than happy to look at the issue and also another one that I forgot to tell them about last time I went found out it wasn't anything to do with what they did but they was able to get the part and sort it out for me same day absolutely fantastic was shocked how quick they was able to get it done still highly recommend

Gem of a place to find on my door step. We found this place after a bad experience at a local tyre place where they performed wheel alignment on a non-level service, which as you can imagine, didn’t turn out well. After ringing a few people Stamberg was suggested to me, oh my god, and I am so glad it was, look at the photos this gentleman and I mean gentlemen takes such pride in his work look at his workshop spotlessly clean. He carried out full wheel alignment on our 67 plate red fiesta and now it’s fantastic again, he does all other vehicle maintenance as well, which is fantastic because I am taking all my cars to him in future. I couldn't recommend this garage enough, the service and quality of work here are fantastic. I had an issue with my car which turned out to be a much bigger and more complex problem but he couldn't have done more for me. I went today to get my wheel alignment sorted on my lowered Focus ST, it was an absolutely brilliant experience, he took his time doing the alignment and Road tested the car before and after. The alignment was spot sorted my issues right out. Really recommend this garage for any lowered cars as most places refuse or can’t do it. Price was reasonable too! 100% recommend and I will certainly be a returning customer

Best alignment I’ve ever had done. Very knowledgeable and perfectionist. Tracked my Mercedes B class to have perfectly straight steering (after I installed new suspension) I have never had such a good quality experience and service from an tracking shop before! Old school MoT station used to modern cars, older vehicles and classic cars. Does some MoT repair work also new tyre sales and fitting. Highly recommended but you need to book as usually booked up especially for MOT tests.

Just feel compelled to review. I took my corsa van in for replacement front discs and pads after national tyres had said they needed doing. How refreshing to have someone honest enough to say there's another 12 months left in them after testing. Be trusted this garage is 100 % genuine !!!

Haven't had time to post but will now. Wakefield m.o.t specialists is a family run garage. Very friendly and welcome you. I had issues with my focus ecoboost that I no longer have as it's a Ford issue. But now I have a better car I will always have my car m.o.t and serviced with these guys as it's local to me and really happy this garage have time for a chat even advice. Out of all the garages this one I love and 100% recommend to anyone

Third visit today with my VW Caddy, this time for an MOT. I wouldn't go anywhere else. These guys know their stuff, are friendly and approachable, and the work is always top notch, rapid, and competitively priced. It needed new suspension parts to pass the MOT and they supplied and fitted them in less than three hours. It now handles like a dream. Highly recommended!

After taking my highly modified car to another garage for a full health check as I was concerned there was a problem due to a strange noise it was making. I was told there were no problems and they couldn't hear the noise I had mentioned, and it was safe to drive. I didn't believe what they told me so I began searching for another garage for a second opinion. After some research and recommendations from friends I decided to try PJ Autos. After speaking to Paul I asked if he could thoroughly check my car for faults.He opened the bonnet while I was there and instantly spotted a problem regarding the coolant system and pipework which he showed me. He said I was extremely lucky my coolant pipe hadn't come off when I was driving as there was no clips holding it in place. I left my car with Paul and later that day he called me and explained in detail what he had found wrong with it. It turned out my cam belt was badly cracked and needed changing as well as the water pump and fan belt, also the coolant system needed flushing. When I arrived Paul took some of the coolant out of my car and showed me that it was full of rust, he explained the process needed to flush the system and refill it. I was also advised it would be safer not to drive my car until it had been fixed. I agreed and decided once I got home I wouldn't use it. I booked my car back in to be repaired and he explained the cost of the work for each repair and then the total. The price's were very fair and I was impressed with how thoroughly my car had been checked and the genuine honesty I could sense from Paul. He even fixed some little things he noticed while it was in for repairs like the grill on the front of my car was loose, the bolts were replaced also they realigned the exhaust tips as one was sticking out and the other wasn't which had been bugging me for a while.He's the kinda guy who treats each car like he would his own which is rare these days. Overall I can't rate this garage highly enough. If you want your car to be genuinely looked after and repaired at a fair price I doubt you'd find a better garage to take your vehicle. 👌😄

Excellent, really happy with these guys. All I did was book in for a full set of new tyres (because they were considerably cheaper than elsewhere), ended up getting a great experience. Tyres fitted perfectly, made aware of some issues with existing alloys, was also nice to be able to chat to them about the car since it’s a new purchase and something different. Speedy and friendly too. Couldn’t recommend this garage more, definitely going to return for other future work.
