Fantastic experience! The guys were just incredible! And so efficient and helpful. I had my car booked in for an MOT Saturday morning. They found fault with a ball joint and rang me within minutes of leaving my car to notify me that it was incredibly dangerous. With it been the weekend they were limited to what they could do as mechanics were not working, but they went above and beyond to source somebody to make the repairs required so that the car would pass the MOT and be safe to drive also. I will be returning for more work to be done on my vehicle & will be telling all my friends and family about the elite service I experienced. Top job guys 🙏🏻

Absolutely fantastic service. Cannot say enough to recommend James. Went to 5 garages and called countless others to get a diagnostics and repair. All told me it would be after Christmas. James came same day - actually within an hour of me calling him - and diagnosed then fixed immediately for a very reasonable price. He's incredibly nice, intelligent in his trade and kind in explaining everything clearly and answering all questions. This is a truly above and beyond kind of guy. My problems were caused by rats and he drove with me to a car wash and totally cleaned out the engine bay. He even washed my entire car! Never had such a quick and amazing service by a mechanic. Absolutely use this guy.

Gem of a place to find on my door step. We found this place after a bad experience at a local tyre place where they performed wheel alignment on a non-level service, which as you can imagine, didn’t turn out well. After ringing a few people Stamberg was suggested to me, oh my god, and I am so glad it was, look at the photos this gentleman and I mean gentlemen takes such pride in his work look at his workshop spotlessly clean. He carried out full wheel alignment on our 67 plate red fiesta and now it’s fantastic again, he does all other vehicle maintenance as well, which is fantastic because I am taking all my cars to him in future. I had an issue with my car which turned out to be a much bigger and more complex problem but he couldn't have done more for me. I went today to get my wheel alignment sorted on my lowered Focus ST, it was an absolutely brilliant experience, he took his time doing the alignment and Road tested the car before and after. The alignment was spot sorted my issues right out. Really recommend this garage for any lowered cars as most places refuse or can’t do it. Price was reasonable too! 100% recommend and I will certainly be a returning customer

After being in the trade for 25 years (work in different sector now ) I can honestly say this Garage is a hidden gem ! I had my BMW 4 wheel alignment done and camber and castor….The car drives fantastic now the steering wheel was slightly off before taking it in I didn’t mention it to the Mechanic He picked this up when doing the work on the car which gives me confidence……The Garage is pristine and he obviously takes pride in his work……..I would 100% recommend

Third visit today with my VW Caddy, this time for an MOT. I wouldn't go anywhere else. These guys know their stuff, are friendly and approachable, and the work is always top notch, rapid, and competitively priced. It needed new suspension parts to pass the MOT and they supplied and fitted them in less than three hours. It now handles like a dream. Highly recommended!

After taking my highly modified car to another garage for a full health check as I was concerned there was a problem due to a strange noise it was making. I was told there were no problems and they couldn't hear the noise I had mentioned, and it was safe to drive. I didn't believe what they told me so I began searching for another garage for a second opinion. After some research and recommendations from friends I decided to try PJ Autos. After speaking to Paul I asked if he could thoroughly check my car for faults.He opened the bonnet while I was there and instantly spotted a problem regarding the coolant system and pipework which he showed me. He said I was extremely lucky my coolant pipe hadn't come off when I was driving as there was no clips holding it in place. I left my car with Paul and later that day he called me and explained in detail what he had found wrong with it. It turned out my cam belt was badly cracked and needed changing as well as the water pump and fan belt, also the coolant system needed flushing. When I arrived Paul took some of the coolant out of my car and showed me that it was full of rust, he explained the process needed to flush the system and refill it. I was also advised it would be safer not to drive my car until it had been fixed. I agreed and decided once I got home I wouldn't use it. I booked my car back in to be repaired and he explained the cost of the work for each repair and then the total. The price's were very fair and I was impressed with how thoroughly my car had been checked and the genuine honesty I could sense from Paul. He even fixed some little things he noticed while it was in for repairs like the grill on the front of my car was loose, the bolts were replaced also they realigned the exhaust tips as one was sticking out and the other wasn't which had been bugging me for a while.He's the kinda guy who treats each car like he would his own which is rare these days. Overall I can't rate this garage highly enough. If you want your car to be genuinely looked after and repaired at a fair price I doubt you'd find a better garage to take your vehicle. 👌😄

Fantastic service, I highly recommend this garage. I've taken my Peugeot 107 there for its MOT, an occasional service and a couple of repairs for the past 6 or so years and have always had excellent service. The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are extremely honest - more than once they've saved me money by saying a job doesn't need doing. They offer advice for lower-priced repairs to fit my budget and have kept my car running perfectly all these years. They've even done small jobs for me without charging. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Dave is a top lad, spent over 3 hours on my car stripping it down, nothing seemed too much trouble. Found that the part he'd been sent was wrong, and put the car back together to sort out another day with the correct part when it came. His charge was VERY competitive. Already arranged for the correct part to be fitted. Highly recommended.
