Excellent service. Andy made time for despite being very busy. I had ECU work done on my car which was completed without any trouble and I’m very happy with the result. Andy is really friendly to talk to and really know his stuff about cars, mechanically and electronics based!

Fantastic service from Andy at Overboost. Managed to squeeze my S1 in for suspension work, alignment and a haldex service just before a big road trip I had planned. Also offered a lot of insight on what parts he’d had good feedback on, and advice on other things I planned to do with the car. A very knowledgeable bloke, would recommend to anyone 100% I won’t be going anywhere else

Great garage, only started using them last year but never had a problem and have always sorted out any issues I’ve had with my car and always fitted me in where they can even quickly popping my car up for them to have a look. Easy to accept repairs with the link that is sent of what needs to be done. Great staff who can explain what work I’m having done as I’m clueless with cars. Would definitely recommend RM motors

Timing chain failed in Ripon my recovery company recovered my vehicle to RM motors yard at 1015pm. I called one of the staff and they opened the gate for the recovery vehicle to drop my van off. They stripped the engine down fixed my van. The van now runs perfectly and the price was reasonable and will use again!

Family car Lexus GS was booked in for brake skimming,arrived in the morning and waited around while the work was carried out. Richard and the team were more than accommodating (thanks for the brews). A friendly garage with great communication and transparency in explaining the process and duration for brake skimming. Knowledgeable, efficient individuals and a very competitively priced establishment. I would highly recommend RM motors and be more than happy to use again.

Would recommend. Went there this week - took car in for a service, MOT, and also to look at a drivetrain problem I was having that was making the car stall. He did the job lot, including ordering in parts, and also doing rear brake disk and pads and a shocker all in one day, got it passed through MOT and sorted. Sound job.

James is the best Mechanic around, keeps my old Porsche ticking over wonderfully. Fantastic service, couldn't recommend enough, although make sure to ring and book well in advance as being this good means they're always busy! As mentioned in a few other reviews, James is always happy to work a solution out that works best for you, like rebuilding a failed steering rack rather than just replacing it with a new one which is exactly what the main dealer would have done. id rather my money go to a family run business in the form of labour charges rather than just buying brand new parts when the old ones are perfectly serviceable with just a bit of elbow grease applied... Thank you again James (especially for the beers!)

There’s not many garages you can take a car to for them to have it all afternoon, fix it and then charge nothing! That is exactly what has happened today, James is that knowledgable he had diagnosed the problem with my car before I even got out of it! I’ve been using this garage from day one and there’s nowhere else I will take any of my cars now. Car in today for mot and service. Lady in reception really lovely and helpful. Building actually quite big looked like they had plenty of work which is always good to see. Everything explained to you and very reasonable cost. Will definitely be using them again and telling all my friends.

I use this garage all the time and it's a good quality, reliable and friendly service. They are really helpful and they really care about what they do! Not really sure whether they even need good reviews on here because it's such a well known garage in the area that has been around for a long time and everyone around knows who they are and how good their service is.

Visited springwell motors with an electric car. Sean fitted me in last minute wasn’t expecting my car back for a couple days. Got a message by the afternoon saying it was ready for collection. That was a fast turn around.Collected the car late evening and had a what I feel a good chat with Sean and he seems very knowledgeable regarding the transition over to electric cars. I feel more relieved I’ve now found a garage that can look and possibly fix an electric car. I wish the best for Sean and his team with the transition to electric cars and he keeps building on this.

Electric Car owners !!!!USE THIS GARAGE !!!! My wife has a small electric car , she loves it . This January it had a charging problem . I looked on the Hevra website (they list electric car fixers) and got to Sean at Springwell Motors. Thank god I contacted him ,he has been brilliant . He sorted the electric car really quickly, rang us regularly to tell us how it was going, was totally upfront about the cost (so no surprises )and was generally excellent. If you have Electric cars or Hybrids look no farther . His approach could not be more of a contrast to our previous dealings with the main dealer .

You didn't give up once, in trying to get to the root of the problem (perseverance should be your middle name!). You also regularly updated us throughout the whole process, something which has been sadly lacking, with other garages we have dealt with in the past. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone who owns an electric car. Will definitely be using them again in the future for servicing, M.O.T's etc.

Absolutely 5 star service. I highly recommend this garage. Took my car for a MOT it failed which ment I couldn't drive it so would of been without a car.
