10/10 A honest and reliable garage. Being new to the area this garage came on recommendation from a friend after being messed around by another mechanic. I’m very pleased to have found Marsh Garage, they were quick and thorough with my car and offered a wonderfully friendly service at reasonable prices. They’ve gained a couple of loyal customers this week, thank you so much.

Had an MOT booked today for my Ford Fiesta and was very pleased with the service I received. After years of struggling to find a trustworthy garage in Huddersfield, I believe I’ve finally found one. The MOT passed at a great price, and my partner’s car was also booked in without any issues. I’ve since arranged further work with Marsh Garage. Unlike a previous local garage that overcharged me for unnecessary repairs, this garage was honest and transparent. Highly recommended. Very easy to deal with. Gave me advice and talked me through any advisories. Thank you.

Brilliant service from Mark today. First time customer, recommended by my brother in law having been let down by another mechanic. Issue with seized brake calipers which Mark quickly diagnosed and ordered the likely replacement part. Upon inspection though, the part just needed freeing up not replacing and he agreed to add the inspection charge to the next bill. Thoroughly impressed with Marsh Garage, will certainly be bringing my vehicles back for maintenance and MOT. Thanks Mark, knowing what advice to trust with car related stuff can be tricky. Really good to receive up front guidance and honest, professional customer service. Highly recommended.

Well firstly I would like to say anyone near marsh, who needs a car mechanic, you’d be foolish not to use these guys, absolutely the best garage I’ve used in 22 years of driving, they had my BMW in the other week to carry out some work, which had been supposed to be done by another local garage who failed to do the job properly, not only was the job done quickly and properly I had a shock at how fairly they priced the work, you really couldn’t ask for nicer people either, you are made to feel welcome and at ease by everyone at the garage. Honestly please just check these guys out if you are in need of something doing, I guarantee you that wouldn’t be disappointed! Thanks Ben

THANK YOU Sean for a first-class service fixing the charging problem on my electric SEAT Mii. You didn't give up once, in trying to get to the root of the problem (perseverance should be your middle name!). You also regularly updated us throughout the whole process, something which has been sadly lacking, with other garages we have dealt with in the past. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone who owns an electric car. Will definitely be using them again in the future for servicing, M.O.T's etc.

Visited springwell motors with an electric car. Sean fitted me in last minute wasn’t expecting my car back for a couple days. Got a message by the afternoon saying it was ready for collection. That was a fast turn around.Collected the car late evening and had a what I feel a good chat with Sean and he seems very knowledgeable regarding the transition over to electric cars. I feel more relieved I’ve now found a garage that can look and possibly fix an electric car. I wish the best for Sean and his team with the transition to electric cars and he keeps building on this.

I needed new locking nuts for my car and couldn’t have asked for better service. They were incredibly helpful, fitting me in at very short notice and getting the job done in about an hour. I’m really impressed and will definitely be returning in the future.

I recently had both of our vehicles serviced at Nick Ryden’s for the first time. We dropped off the cars in the morning and were able to collect them in the early afternoon. The staff are friendly, and the rates are excellent. We plan to book in for MOTs next time around and will definitely return for any future car repairs or servicing. The garage is local and offers overall great value.

I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

We've rarely met a professional mechanic in the motor trade as genuine as Adrian from AV Motors in Skelmanthorpe. We were in desperate need of expert assistance with our vehicle and, being hundreds of miles away from home, we felt anxious that we might not be able to drive back. Adrian offered to help, despite being totally booked up with other work. He truly was our savior. Not only was he speedy, but he thoroughly checked & fixed our vehicle, getting us back on the road with a cheery smile & his great, no nonsense, Yorkshire attitude. I was in an accident on a Sunday afternoon at a roundabout and phoned Tom at TPH autos to come recover my vehicle. He turned up within 15 minutes of me ringing and the whole process of getting my car onto the back of his truck and him leaving was no more than 20 minutes. Tom was very polite and friendly. Excellent garage. Never had an issue with them. And usually able to get me in at short notice, for services, oil changes and MOT work on my Astra J various other cars. Last big job was replacing the aircon compressor on my Astra J last year (which I supplied) and they warned there might be a leak, but nearly 12 months on, its still working fine.
