I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

Had an MOT booked today for my Ford Fiesta and was very pleased with the service I received. After years of struggling to find a trustworthy garage in Huddersfield, I believe I’ve finally found one. The MOT passed at a great price, and my partner’s car was also booked in without any issues. I’ve since arranged further work with Marsh Garage. Unlike a previous local garage that overcharged me for unnecessary repairs, this garage was honest and transparent. Highly recommended. Very easy to deal with. Gave me advice and talked me through any advisories. Thank you.

Amazing value for money! After the main dealer quoted £180 just to diagnose the fault, these guys managed to diagnose it and fix it for less than £100! And managed to squeeze my repair in within 2 days of my first call. Couldn't be happier, they were helpful, friendly and professional. I'll definitely use them again!!

Well firstly I would like to say anyone near marsh, who needs a car mechanic, you’d be foolish not to use these guys, absolutely the best garage I’ve used in 22 years of driving, they had my BMW in the other week to carry out some work, which had been supposed to be done by another local garage who failed to do the job properly, not only was the job done quickly and properly I had a shock at how fairly they priced the work, you really couldn’t ask for nicer people either, you are made to feel welcome and at ease by everyone at the garage. I feel so lucky to have found this place. Honestly, I can not say enough good things about this garage! Tucked away in Skelmanthorpe, it really is a jewel. The customer service is outstanding, everyone is really friendly, and they go over and above any customer expectations. I picked my car up and casually asked about one of my parking sensors not working... a lovely young lad came out and fixed it for me there and then, no charge, just happy to help! I recently had both of our vehicles serviced at Nick Ryden’s for the first time. We dropped off the cars in the morning and were able to collect them in the early afternoon. The staff are friendly, and the rates are excellent. We plan to book in for MOTs next time around and will definitely return for any future car repairs or servicing. The garage is local and offers overall great value.

Visited springwell motors with an electric car. Sean fitted me in last minute wasn’t expecting my car back for a couple days. Got a message by the afternoon saying it was ready for collection. That was a fast turn around.Collected the car late evening and had a what I feel a good chat with Sean and he seems very knowledgeable regarding the transition over to electric cars. I feel more relieved I’ve now found a garage that can look and possibly fix an electric car. I wish the best for Sean and his team with the transition to electric cars and he keeps building on this.

You didn't give up once, in trying to get to the root of the problem (perseverance should be your middle name!). You also regularly updated us throughout the whole process, something which has been sadly lacking, with other garages we have dealt with in the past. I was in an accident on a Sunday afternoon at a roundabout and phoned Tom at TPH autos to come recover my vehicle. He turned up within 15 minutes of me ringing and the whole process of getting my car onto the back of his truck and him leaving was no more than 20 minutes. Tom was very polite and friendly. We've rarely met a professional mechanic in the motor trade as genuine as Adrian from AV Motors in Skelmanthorpe. We were in desperate need of expert assistance with our vehicle and, being hundreds of miles away from home, we felt anxious that we might not be able to drive back. Adrian offered to help, despite being totally booked up with other work. He truly was our savior. Not only was he speedy, but he thoroughly checked & fixed our vehicle, getting us back on the road with a cheery smile & his great, no nonsense, Yorkshire attitude. I recently took my wife’s Range Rover Evoque to Parkside Garage on the back of not being able to source availability in my home town garages in Halifax. Words cannot express the service I received from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left with the vehicle. They initially gave me a time scale of after Christmas due to their work loads. Not even a week passed and I received a call to say the car was ready. The receptionist recognised how distressed I was initially and told Me not to worry they would do their very best to get us back on the road. This was certainly over and beyond expectations and did not even break the bank. Guys this is not your average garage. If you want your car looking after these are the guys that will have your back. Amazing garage. I had work done on my car which was in limp mode as it had a crankshaft sensor fault. Unfortunately, the garage replaced the crankshaft sensor but this still did not fix my car. I took it back and they had another look and let me know that if could potentially be a small fix but it could also end up costing an awful lot of money. I went to a volkswagen specialist for their opinion and they believed the part they fitted may not be genuine but the garage was determined it definitely is a genuine part. I am looking to get rid of my car now as I do not want to pay more money into it with the high mileage it has but I have to say this garage dealt with me extremely professionally and honestly, they even drove my car so they could try and understand the issue. I was happy with the service and would highly recommend this garage.
