Do not be put off by how this place looks from the outside or inside. It's a small garage run by the nicest guy in the world. I had a tyre fitted 6 months ago as it was close to work and was convenient for me and wasn't expecting anything exceptional. JUST HOW WRONG COULD I OF BEEN. I drive an 08 plate car and I've been told numerous times by other tyre places that I need my alloys replacing because the tyres always lose pressure. Then BOOM I came here. Seriously what a professional. After taking my old tyre off, he cleaned my alloy with an angle grinder with a wire wheel disk so removing surface rust. Fits the new tyre and I've never lost any pressure since. Turns out that the other tyre places are just shit at there jobs. Infact I'd go as saying that until he changed my tyre. I've never had a tyre fitted correctly before. I had another tyre fitted today and again so professionally done. He is totally my tyre guy FOREVER.

Absolutely fantastic service from Muhammad!! What can I say… after a very traumatic day visiting my husband who has just had surgery for cancer, I was on the ring road driving home on the ring road and my car hit a massive pot hole bursting the tyre. My car doesn’t have a spare tyre due to run flat tyres so I was in a state with my husband in hospital and not able to drive my car home. A lovely young man chaperoned me to a AS Tyres minutes away and spoke to Muhammad whom was so kind and at 5pm put me a new tyre on my car and was so reasonable with the cost. He even offered me a cup of tea and even spoke to my husband on the phone to let him know all was ok! Muhammad you were my super hero today and also the young man that helped me get to the garage. Highly recommended!!

My Seat Leon broke down while I was on holiday in Cornwall due to engine issues, it was towed to a local garage. This was a large RAC-approved garage with multiple "Master Technicians", it took them three weeks just to tell me they couldn't find the cause and repair, they charged me £200 for looking at it, I thought that was it for the car. I had my car towed back to Huddersfield. Based on a family recommendation decided to get in touch with AS Tyres and they agreed to take a look. They performed a diagnostic of the engine within a couple days and after checking each component of the engine kept me updated throughout the process. They were able to find the cause, repair the engine then carry out a service giving me piece of mind and getting my car back on the road within a week. I recently took my wife’s Range Rover Evoque to Parkside Garage on the back of not being able to source availability in my home town garages in Halifax. Words cannot express the service I received from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left with the vehicle. They initially gave me a time scale of after Christmas due to their work loads. The receptionist recognised how distressed I was initially and told Me not to worry they would do their very best to get us back on the road. Great local garage with a friendly owner, Gordon Walker, who always provides a great service at honest prices. I have used the garage for 10+ years and have never had reason for complaint. No problem using your own provided parts, though make sure they are the correct ones, but even if not you don't get ripped off. Highly recommended.

Nothing but good words for this garage. I had a driving holiday booked to France and 3 days before the timing chain went on my BMW X1. I was quoted extortionate amounts and some garages didn't even want to take the job on. Michael and his lads worked tirelessly through the night to get my vehicle back on the road in time for my holiday. Having been quoted hundreds of pounds from Halfords for various ‘problems’ with our car and an MOT, I looked for a second opinion. Andrew, the owner, was able to have a look at the car when I dropped it off early. He disregarded any ‘faults’ identified by Halfords and checked the car himself. He identified genuine faults and gave an honest price for the repairs which came in several hundred pounds less than that quoted by Halfords. We have been ripped off by so many garages in the past and it is reassuring to find a genuinely trustworthy garage. As Andrew told me, he’s been fixing cars for 45 years and he knows what he is doing! I will certainly be returning to Reliance next time and would recommend the garage without hesitation.

An amazing swift rescue service with a smile - day 2 mum & daughter special timeout- about to set out to shopping in Leeds to find a completely dead car - my own Warranty service estimated at @ 1h 40mins further wait, so called this garage. I explained symptoms (potentially flat battery) & our predicament and asked if they could possibly nip down - Richard was just great, will be there in 10 minutes - he was there in 8, got it started, explained what to do. I then realised I had no cash - not a problem, he said. I could ring and pay ( I looked honest) - which I did. Fantastic helpful professional service - if I had lived nearer I would switch garages. Reliance Garage - certainly lives up to it's name!

Thought i had a leak from a pipe, turns out it was my engine. He didnt charge me for the replacement pipe. They gave absolutely amazing service all the way through whilst having my car, explaining everything in full. Not his fault my car is badly damaged but i cannot fault the service i got. It was my choice to not spend money on my car and replace it instead. Highly recommend this garage, they are proffessional and kind. I have been to many garages and not felt i have been treated fairly, im really glad i found them, i will be using these guys from now on.

I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

I took my 05 plate Audi A3 to IVS following a recommendation from my current garage. I had the engine warning light repeatedly coming on and the car had been repeatedly scanned for several years and the fault wasn't found or the light permanently cleared. However, IVS scanned and fixed the fault the same day and even adjusted the original quote even cheaper. As a result my engine light is now off and I'm so pleased. As a female visiting some garages it can create a lot of anxiety, however, the problems were clearly explained and I felt more reassured. I would definitely recommend this garage and use again. I booked my Audi in on 29/08/2024 for an MOT, service, diagnostic scan and a list of jobs that a previous local mechanic had not completed. Due to the specialist knowledge and experience of Mark and James, all jobs including the wiring of mirrors and replacement of rear wiper motor were carried out expertly and within a day. All the work was carried out to a very high standard for an excellent price. I cannot thank you guys enough and would definitely recommend again.

I've been coming here for at least 15 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Mark always takes the time to explain what the issue is and is honest and experienced. They use genuine parts and complete the job to the highest standard. I am pleased that I have a mechanic that I can trust.

I have nothing, nothing but great things to say about IVS. These guys have taken care of four VW or SEATs in my family for well over 15 years. They are amazingly efficient and courteous and extremely competent at their job. They only use genuine parts, getting those brought in from the dealer. The prices are exceptionally reasonable, such that you wonder whether they have charged you enough! They don’t do tyres or MOTs, but MOTs are coming as they’re building a dedicated garage there. I trust them implicitly and would heartily recommend you try them!

Went in for my van mot and a very good service was provided with a good explanation of things that will be needed in the future but not now, this is fantastic as then you can plan for spending in the up and coming months.
