Very good professional garage. Been for big and small jobs and they are always fairly priced and their work seems to have done the job as my car has never had any issues after going to them. Always quick, communicative. Couldn't really ask for much more.

I called Balmoral when miles from home I had a flat battery with stupidly no breakdown cover. They came out and jump started with no fuss and the cost was extremely reasonable, even though I was clearly desperate and they could have charged an awful lot more. These guys seem proper genuine and if I lived closer I would definitely be bringing my car here in future. Thanks a lot

Recommend this garage. We now take both our cars here for MOT and servicing. The guy who runs the garage is very honest and doesn’t restructuring out work unless it is necessary. Recently he spend 20 minutes on looking at a faulty lock on our car and didn’t charge us for his time,. Give them a go.

Brilliant garage. My exhaust snapped whilst I was (luckily!) around the corner from them and they helped me out straight away despite clearly being busy with another car. Exhaust fixed within two hours of taking it to them with no fuss whatsoever. Good price too, even though they could’ve easily taken advantage of the fact that I was in a panic and needed it sorted with no notice. Super lovely guys, will use this garage from now on. Had a flat tyre and was along way from nearest tyre repair and was unable to remove locking wheel nut because it was damaged by another garage these guy helped me out and let me borrow a locking wheel nut removal tool this didn't work so they gave my another socket to try and whack over the wheel nut, not been back since but these guys helped me out big time many thanks guys 👍

My car started to make an unusual grinding sound. It turned out to be a stone stuck behind the brake disc. Holmfield MOT & Repairs didn’t charge for the removal. I also had a service & MOT in late 2024 and the works needed were a good price, a different company quoted multiple thousands! I’d recommend the garage to anyone, I feel the staff are friendly and trustworthy.

I’ve used this garage for repairs twice recently. Service has been prompt, efficient and very courteous. Their charges are very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in using Halifax Autocentre again.

Great service, reliable honest, dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready by the afternoon. Fantastic prices!!! I went here after receiving a quote from a big company who quoted me £1300 ...took the car to Atlas garages to be assessed...over half the work was not needed that had been quoted by previous company and the total bill came to £390 including labour for two new bearings, front pads and disks, rear brakes, small repair to the exhaust (quoted as needing a full exhaust replacement from the other company ...turned out it was a simple bracket replacement.) All parts changed were available to view and I was given a full breakdown of the work carried out. Will use this garage from now on...only drawback is they don't do MOT certificates however will do pre MOT checks and work at much cheaper price than competitors! Cant recommend enough!

I especially like the invoice being emailed as well as printed and like the keen eye for detail such as the new locking wheel nut bag, service record etc, small things but customers love it!
