I cannot rate this practice highly enough. I had to have a root canal treatment and was pretty scared as I have a low pain threshold. From the reception staff to the dental nurse to dental specialist, I received information (verbal and written), treatment, care and follow-up of the highest degree. After the first of a projected two-part treatment I have no fear of the next. The place is clean, bright, pleasant and comfortable. Once in the waiting room there is very little waiting time, equipment used seems to be the highly sophisticated and modern. Honestly? If you're looking for a recommendation, I wholeheartedly give this one 10/10

Excellent dentist, always willing to find a good treatment plan and was able to fix an implant instead of having a whole new one done.

Longborough have given me excellent treatment over several years. This includes some replacement fillings and a capped tooth, plus regular hygiene appointments. Extremely well organized, good facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and most importantly pain free. Not cheap, but good value for money.

I had an excellent experience having a check up and filling done at Arundel Lodge. The friendly and professional service from reception and Dr. Downey were top tier and the pricing throughout was transparent and fair. This clinic is a valuable asset for Dorking and I highly recommend visiting for a check up or if you have any dental issue, to get the best treatment available.

As a terrified patient, I had my appointment today to have a tooth removed ( a visibly front one, for which I was so upset about) Previously, james has worked on my teeth , James ( Jim) is absolutely incredible, as are all of his amazing assistants, I cannot sing praises for Arundel lodge enough, totally brilliant! Vijay and his lovely assistant today were above and beyond!!! So happy , wonderful dentists

I have been a patient for several years. Dr Downey has always been very understanding and thorough in dealing with my dental treatment. He has an excellent calm manner which puts me at ease. As a result I have complete confidence during my visit to the surgery.

Monica, the orthodontist, at the practice has been wonderful with my teenage daughter. She has straightened her teeth giving her a lovely smile. She obviously loves working with young people and made my daughter feel very comfortable with her regular visits. She treated her with such warmth and always involved her in any discussions. My daughter and I would thoroughly recommend her. Following my daughter’s experience, I am now seeing Monica. She explained the treatment very clearly with great visuals. She is always very open to questions and is very professional whilst also being fun.

Dr Rabia Satti treated me for a broken crown, it was an emergency as I had holiday booked in a couple of days time, she fitted me in at short notice and provided an excellent temporary soloution, with a sensible long term plan of action for when I come back from my holiday. Very happy with my implant. From the very start when my tooth broke apart when I accidentally bit hard on an olive stone, Wassim professionally removed the fragments and over the next treatments, rebuilt the bone, installed an implant and finally fitted a crown to match neighbouring teeth. I can now enjoy eating again.

I recently visited Specialist Dental and was blown away by their beautiful and welcoming practice. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you want when visiting a dentist.

They've created miracles with my teeth straightening, my braces were taken off today and I'm completely thrilled with the results. I'm constantly grinning like a Cheshire cat! My family and I have been seeing Dr Ziad Ali for 10 years now - always ultra-professional, but also a lovely friendly person who puts you at ease - I always look forward to seeing him. Perfect if you’re a nervous patient. Only suggests dental work that is necessary. Always innovating his practice and technically fantastic - he’s done some Bioclear for me which was done to a much better standard than a specialist practice I had had to previously use. And he also did the most fantastic Invisalign work for me on some very crooked teeth - I think he’s the most fantastic Invisalign practitioner. So, highly recommend in short! All the staff at Notley are lovely. Also need to recommend Hygienist Idalina Silva, particularly if you have children who are anxious or neurodiverse. Idalina dealt with my son brilliantly yesterday - he came in extremely anxious but left happy and enthusiastic about seeing her the next time, and with lots of advice for looking after his teeth which was pitched at just the right level for him. Very impressed. She’s also my hygienist and is equally fantastic with adults. Thanks Notley for looking after us for so long! Lucy

Dr Akhil Patel has an incredible talent with patients. He is very knowledgeable and easily conveys his expertise in simple terms to relax and assure.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. In my much younger years I had a terrible experience with the dentist which left me scarred with anxiety, yet Dr Akhil and his team were gentle, and reassuring and I did not feel a thing. My son even said I liked Dr Akhil, he is a nice guy and the hygienist seemed to get my son on his side too. A win, win in my books. It was a pleasant experience, the motto Health and Smile rings true. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice

This practice was rightly recommended to me by my wife and has been excellent. Akhil is very friendly and professional and checked my mouth out very comprehensively. The initial verdict was not great but I appreciated the honesty. I had to have a couple of extractions which I was dreading, but in the event it was all over very quickly. He numbed me up suitably without leaving me a dribbling wreck afterwards, and his post-operative care notes were very useful.

I’m an extremely anxious person when it comes to the dentist and find it to be quite terrifying. Dr Patel soon put my fears to rest and explained everything to me, putting me at ease almost immediately. He explained my treatment clearly, offered me options and worked with me to work out a plan. I used Putney Hill Dental Practice for many years when I lived in St John’s Avenue, in particular Dr Collie Moran. The service was always excellent and I appreciated Collie’s competence and professionalism. For the last 7 or 8 years I have lived in Switzerland and given I frequently visit London to see family, I have continued to use the practice. The costs are reasonable (certainly compared to Switzerland) and the care continues to be excellent. Also a word of praise for the reception team who are effecient and do their best to fit in with my often time constrained requirements. No hesitation in recommending the practice .

Since we registered with Putney Hill Dental five years ago, we have been delighted with the support provided by their reliable treatment and advice delivered by a very friendly and professional team, and also the ease of making reservations with them. The clinic is always clean and comfortable, and, even though it may seem a little strange, we’ve always looked forward to going there. Of course, the fees are higher than those on the NHS, but we’ve always felt that they are reasonable given their location in Putney, their excellent service which always offers the latest treatment, and their overall efficiency over the time we have been using their services. I recently visited Chem Village Dental Studios, and I have to say, it was a thoroughly positive experience from start to finish.
