Cannot recommend MJP carpentry enough! They fitted our Wren kitchen for us Feb-March time and honestly did the most amazing job! They made my vision come to light! For anyone looking for a carpenter / kitchen fitter in the West Berkshire area I can wholeheartedly recommend MJP Carpenters. Mike and his team fitted my hand built wooden kitchen and were just amazing. A pleasure to have in the house, cheerful, good communication and full of solutions and high skills.

Michael and the team were super helpful. The project was to build a self assembly garden shed/office, but to be honest I had not anticipated how much work would be needed. Nevertheless, Michael and the team cracked on, and guided me through any snags that presented themselves - suggesting the appropriate options and working to get the project done to a great standard.

Mike replaced all of our internal doors for us. He came out to check the doors and advised on the best options. After arranging an install date, Mike checked in again just to be sure we were still ok ahead of the arranged date. Him and his team arrived on time, were always polite, friendly and professional, and they tidied up beautifully after they'd finished. We cannot fault Mike's work - our new doors have transformed the house! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mike again, or recommend him to friends and family. Thank you again!

Simon made me a bespoke curio display cabinet. He was friendly and spent a long time talking over my needs and wants to make sure it was correct. The craftsmanship is immaculate; he tailored it to my specifications and went above and beyond in some aspects of his work. I'm very happy with the quality and sturdiness. The soft-closing, open-mounted doors are incredible. It was well worth the wait, and I am very happy with the result. Will be using him again and recommend anyone else to do the same!

I had an old, damaged drawer which I had lined with cardboard and wasn’t fit for purpose. Simon did the most sympathetic repair of this piece and has given it many more years of life. Thank you - no photos, sorry, the drawer is now packed with stuff and bearing up nicely. Highly recommend

Olly build a wadrobe and a whole TV unit / Cupbords either side of a fireplace for us with spectacular results. Very happy with the results and would recommend to anyone wanting a high quality finish.

I've recently had two sets of built-in wardrobes done by Aaron (AJ), and he has been excellent from capturing my requirements to delivering the final product. AJ kept me posted with timelines, prices, materials and more and has never once declined a phone call from me asking yet another stupid question! The final product was absolutely fantastic and I am very glad I went with him after receiving another competitive quote. I used Mansur Carpentry recently for some build in wardrobes and his work amazing. He was keeping me updated everyday on the progress and his quality of work perfect. Definitely will be using him again soon for other jobs around the house.

Came across Mansur Carpentry by chance via the Next Door app and so glad that we did. Ferdi and Sevda visited to quote for picture rail / wall paneling installation in the living room design & installation of utility room storage. Our list then grew to plywood installation in living room and hallway floors, leveling hallway floor, boxing in pipes, installation of herringbone LVT flooring, adjusting room doors and kitchen cabinets. Ferdi provided an exact list of materials and designed the utility room based on IKEA cabinetry. The end results exceeded our expectations, Ferdi is a true Craftsmen. Communication was excellent, tidiness wonderful and honesty to match. Ferdi also very kindly helped us with some other jobs like installing door hooks and hanging a very large painting (twice 🙂). Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Mansur Carpentry supplied and installed a new stair rail. The work was of the highest quality and I am totally delighted with the result. Ferdi is a master craftsman and was most helpful in making sure the design met our needs. It was a pleasure to have him working in our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Mansur Carpentry.

Ferdi built us an amazing cupboard to store our coats, shoes, hats and scarves. He planned and designed it on site and we are thrilled with the result. He was very neat and we were impressed with the quality of his work. We painted the cupboard ourselves but forgot to take ‘before’ photos. The cupboard was built using MDF.

Allan has recently replaced & hung 10 internal oak doors for us along with panelling on our hall, stairs & landing, dado rail in the hall, stairs & landing & he also built us two custom radiator covers. He arrived when he said he would, finished when he said he would & was very competitively priced. The standard of his work is second to none so we will be using his services again soon to build us a custom media unit in our lounge. He’s also the cleanest, tidiest carpenter I’ve ever used.

Richard provided me with valuable advice. Following the installation of underfloor heating the plan was to reinstall the shortened old doors. Richard was able to dismantle and shorten new oak doors. The result is excellent and a big improvement. The refitting was very efficient and to a high standard. Highly recommended!

Kevin of Hook Carpentry has done two items of work for us, The first was to change an opening door into a sliding door which he did very efficiently and quickly. The second job Kevin did was to build fitted wardrobes in our second bedroom from scratch. It was a long run and included hanging space and shelf space. Kevin was very professional and guided us to make the right decisions and we are delighted with the end result. He was a very clean and tidy worker and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.
