I had three internal oak doors fitted by Mark and his team. The service was great from start to finish. Mark kept me up to date at all times. They did a great job and we were very happy with the doors. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had two internal doors fitted today by Mark and his team, and I cannot say enough about my experience. He was excellent in communication from start to finish a very high standard of work and professionalism and turned up when he stated, actually earlier than discussed that in itself is hard to achieve from tradespeople. I have been let down by different tradesmen in the past and you have just restored my faith. Without any hesitation I would highly recommend Mark and his team and I will be doing so in the future, a big thank you, Mark to you and all your team. Very grateful .

Mark and his team installed 4 glass-panes and 3 solid-timber internal doors in our house. Hugely satisfied with quality of work, and very impressed with his customer liaison and after-care. Would recommend without hesitation.

Mark and his team fitted 6 doors for us. Mark came when he said he would & gave good advice. The work was excellently done and the team cleaned up after themselves too. Great team. I can highly recommend . We are very pleased with the result.

I had some shelves put up and a cupboard built and fitted underneath. The quality of the work was excellent even though the job presented some challenges because of the shelves I had purchased. I was very pleased with the job and would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his team.

A well organised professional roof replacement. Keith and his team did a great job, despite 3 storms mid repair 😃 I was asked for input and invited to check the work thoroughout, so I'm pleased with the finishand confident the work has been completed properly.

Keith’s done a couple of really good jobs for us. His works fantastic and he’s reliable, transparent with costs and does what he says he’ll do. He’s also a lovely bloke and tidies as he goes. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I wanted to replace a metal Suffolk latch (the type you buy from DIY stores) , on a garden gate, with something better. I am so glad I found this company. Friendly, helpful advice. The Suffolk latch arrived very nicely packaged, with full instructions, a few days after placing the order. The quality craftmanship is excellent. The latch looks good, feels good and makes a pleasant sound when used. It really makes a difference to the gate, from a functional item to a decorative one.

I placed a bespoke order for an oak hook plaque on the 8th, it was made and posted on the 9th and I received it on the 11th. So speedy, but the quality is outstanding - solid oak, evenly and beautifully cut and engraved and the fittings are top notch! The artist/crafter was super-responsive to my requests and questions and the packaging was all recyclable too. Overall, a unique and beautiful, functional piece of art for our home!

Broke a key in my lock at home and called first locksmith name on Google. Paid £49 call out and when locksmith arrived he said it would be £125 to drill out the key, then he would have to change the lock - would be between another £75 to £300!! Refused and called Stephen at Making Home. He came (out of hours) and within seconds extricated the broken key.Didn’t charge as it had taken seconds. Reliable as always. Name on Google which said was local had the name Tradespex Ltd London on the call out bill. Strangely the company originally contacted on Google has disappeared. Beware!
