Super Heroes DO exist !.. in the form of Adrian at Wellsburys !. He rescued a damsel in distress today (namely me !), who very stupidly opened the soft top on my Smart car whilst trying to resolve an issue, only for it to decide not to close again ! I called Wellsburys (they do my Service & MOT), and even though it was very near to closing time Adrian told me to pop round and he'd have a quick look (I was panicking because I don't have a garage to keep the car in). Well, Adrian donned his superpants and within 15 minutes of me arriving managed to get the roof closed again (phew). Hard in words to fully express my immense gratitude to him, a simple thank you doesn't seem enough.... Adrian you really were my hero today ! I really do highly recommend Wellsburys, nothing is too much trouble for these guys, from James in the office to Adrian on the cars, the level of service is always of the highest quality !. Thanks guys

Been using this Garage for little over 2years now and have to say I probably won't take it anywhere else even if it's cheaper. All work carried out to a top level and the service is brilliant. Always in contact with updates and when then car will be ready. Always available for me when I need to have something done no matter how big or small the job is. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Was meant to be going somewhere a few weekends ago, but came out to find I had a slow puncture. Popped in here to see what they had in stock. Back in my way in around 30 mins and all from a very reasonable price too

Wow! 🤩 Amazing Experience! I visited Harborne Tyres when it was late and almost closing time, as I had an urgent issue with one of my tyres. Despite being minutes away from closing, the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. He went out of his way to quickly check and sort out all my tyres, resolving the problem in no time. I was really grateful for his help, and he put me at ease, especially since everywhere else was closed and I needed to drive on the motorway the next morning. Used this garage a few times. There can be a bit of a wait as it’s only a small place but I think it’s worth it because I really trust the guys that work there. I don’t know a lot about cars but I can tell that they are genuine people just trying to do a good job without ripping you off.

Had a major coolant leak in my car. Rang them, asked me to get car to them. When I did, same day. They fixed it immediately and with no fuss, and not expensive either! Very happy!

Definitely would recommend. My car had an issue on Christmas Day, I called up and he answered the phone straight away. He talked me through all of the details and booked me in for today. Car was sorted straight away and even talked me through the issue and what went wrong. Very good price as well. Will definitely be going back!!!

I’ve been to Michael quite a few times now and he’s always done a brilliant job on my car and I always have the car back within a few hours. Very reliable and honest guy and explains everything really well. The prices are always very good too. I highly recommend him

I have used this garage for 20+yrs all my MOT's have been done here. Also any work as always been of a high quality any little faults or adjustments have been sorted no questions asked all at a very competitive price & the car as always come back clean. The staff are all friendly & helpful. You also get a complimentary hot drink & a choice of cakes or samosa's. Definately recommend 10 stars all day long

Great service at Birmingham Auto Centre. Took my car there for a service, they shared a video of the underside to explain what work needed doing and what was in good nick. I then had an unrelated fault the following week. Unfortunately they couldn't help as didn't have the part, but they spent half an hour diagnosing the car, and didn't charge me a penny for it. Good, honest service, I will be returning in the future.

I saw a car for sale in Birmingham which I wished to purchase but car had limited history and receipts. As it was a high mileage car I wanted the cambelt to be changed before I set off home with the car (over 100 miles). As I am not local I had no idea which garage to use but ultimately booked based on who was available to do the work at short notice + Google reviews. I had already ordered the parts for the job so was also looking for garages that work with customer supplied parts. Can honestly say I have never been treated with as much respect and with such honesty from mechanics before. Generally they can come across condescending due to a layman's lak of knowledge and despite there being an issue with the cambelt kit which I supplied, they called me in to show me the issue and let me decide how to proceed. Despite the defective part causing a delay of over an hour, I wasn't charged a penny more than the quoted price despite me offering to pay for the time. (my fault as defect was with part I supplied)

Would definitely recommend :-) Failed my MOT at halfords who wanted £420 to replace a broken spring. Called these guys up, spoke to their super friendly receptionist, who fitted me in next day dropped my car off and job was completed in a couple of hours. Passed the retest and only cost £115, as I'm woman always dubious about going to a new garage and getting ripped off, but will definitely be using these guys from now on.

Friendly and helpful staff, and a brilliant garage. Saved me from some extortionate and inaccurately identified repair costs at a different garage. They sourced all parts at very reasonable prices, and took care of everything swiftly with great communication throughout. Will absolutely be taking my van there in the future

A big thank you to Harborne Garage who turned a potential nightmare of a day into a very positive experience. My intermittent engine problems had been driving me mad, but the diagnostic unit held no data, so I came back when the light was on. My car broke down a few times on the way, but luckily I managed to get it there. Despite being busy, they were able to slot me in, diagnose the fault, feed back to me and fix the issue in just a few hours. In time to fetch my son after school! I got lucky with the timing, but it seems from the reviews that my experience is pretty common at Harborne Garage. The friendly staff and honest, reasonable pricing means they've made a customer out of me. A clear improvement over my previous garage. Thanks folks and keep it up!
