Great experience at Auto Serve Garages. I called on the morning and was booked in same day for a battery change. Took the stress off my shoulders as it was a Friday and I needed my car. Super helpful staff and lovely waiting area. Would highly recommend.

Having used this garage 4 times now I would wholeheartedly recommend them. They have gone above and beyond each time. The communication is brilliant and the prices are reasonable and fair. The latest time I used them I rang and spoke to the manager, Kev, who was incredibly helpful. I took my car straight there, they kept it and gave me a courtesy car. The bodywork repair was perfect! Popped into this branch as called AA & the patrolman recommended this long established company strongly. ABS sensor was faulty, it took just over a week to rectify this issue as, although not kept updated by staff, they were awaiting works approval before commencing further wiring issues related work. Afterwards I noticed an issue and initially they denied it could be their fault but eventually Kevin was absolutely fantastic and rectified the issue in full despite the procrastination. Overall they were very polite and straightforward so on this occasion I would wholeheartedly recommend this business to others and I have been to many automotive garages from the backstreet ones to the main dealer and these are right up there with the best. Keep up the good work and many thanks to Dan and especially Kevin to sorting out and believing me in relation to the wheel 🛞 nut issues.

The mechanics were very polite and helpful. They checked my vehicle even though they were busy with other vehicles. Reassured us vehicle is fine and did a thorough check. I went here after work today, for an oil and filter change, having booked an appointment online. The owner said that he had no details of my booking. I said I will come back another time, but he said it's no problem and that he will order the parts and start work on my car straight away. The parts came within ten minutes and the oil and filter change was done within 30 minutes. I was very happy with the service as I had put him out and he could have said that he didn't have time. I phoned at 8am today as I was concerned about the brakes on our car. I dropped off the car at 9am, I had a call before 11am to tell me what was wrong. The garage sorted the parts and the repair and I had our car back before 12. Amazing! What a great garage. The staff are lovely too.

I took my car to Paul as I had a issue with the adblue system.After arranging an appointment via email Paul managed to resolve the issue and I have had no issues or warning lights since. I was so pleased with the service I received I returned with my Campervan to get a remap installed and again I'm extremely happy with the service.The van is running so much better with the extra bhp and torque that I wish I had it done sooner. I found Paul to be very professional and knowledgeable and would highly recommend him to have any diagnostics work undertaken.

My car had failed it’s MOT. There was a list as long as your arm and I was thinking of scrapping it. However a work colleague (who swears by this garage’s reputation) advised me to get a quote from Paul (the owner). I took the car to him, we had a good chat, I was more than happy with quote he gave me (several hundred pounds cheaper than others). I expected the car to be in for a week or so. I work as a funeral director so I need my car 24/7. Fortunately the wife loaned me her car. I was amazed to get a call just two days later to say car was ready and that it passed it’s MOT! I was surprised because this is a very busy garage – it’s clear they have a good loyal customer base. That was four years ago and I would simply not go anywhere else. The owner meets you personally to discuss diagnose and costs involved. He is a very honest man, I know this because on a couple of advisories from MOT, I asked him to just do everything however Paul advised that they were not urgent and can be done next time. Where do you get this from? My wife has also been taking her car to him for the past year. This garage is a real gem, you will not regret using it.

I was satisfied with this garage. I went there with a list what I want to have done and the owner gave me a price quote at £1500. After 4 weeks I had finally some free time so I went there again and add front coil springs as well for additional £100. I agreed with price and send £800 deposit because all 4 adaptive shocks absorbers, 4 coil springs and 2x wishbone bushes were expensive themselves. After the transfer he booked my car straight in only 2 days after. I did not expect that but I was gladly surprised. On the day of service I brought my car, gave them my key (before he took my car key, he said that spare parts were more expensive and service will be £200 more expensive – I agreed because it was still a good price) and fill up one simple form. I told the owner if a mechanic finds anything else wrong or damaged on my car just lemme know the price. During the day we exchanged several messages about wishbone bushes (need to be exchanged a whole lower arm including the bushes) and all drop links as well. I agreed because I do not want to have any problems when I do next MOT. At about 4pm the same day my car was ready to pick up but I did not make it that day. Another day in the morning I paid the rest of money for the service and got my car key. All together cost me less then £2000. Yes, my Volkswagen Passat estate 2015 is an old car but price of the service including labour was definitely worth it. When I opened my car both front seats were covered by protective foil against dirt and they gave me a car hanging air freshener with their logo and contacts which was also a nice way how to treat a customer. On the invoice was not any note about 4-wheel alignment but I noticed that when I was gone so I rather had the alignment done by a local garage the same day. In general, I was happy with the service, communication, speed and price.

Excellent service at very competitive rates. The centre is accessible easily with plenty of parking. The staff are friendly. They have an active website. I booked my service online. They are open on Saturdays and Sundays as well for general service items only. They could not offer a repair over the weekend. That is usually done on the weekdays.

Seems as if this place has been around forever. Friendly gentleman who is very helpful if your car requires any mechanical work and recommends like-minded people who are professional and reliable. Happy to use this place next time and highly recommended
