“The owner was nice. The peach and pomegranate juice was so delicious and refreshing. The cafe was cleaned and organized. The lemon cake was so good and had a nice citrus taste. The pistachio te was 11/10.”

“I just keep coming back for more! Have tried a number of different coffees from the menu and pleasantly surprised with the Baristas skills every time. Glad this place has opened in my local area, it adds a much needed bit of class and elegance to the AG town centre. Customer service second to none and the coffee and cakes have been perfection every time. Even better than Costa Coffee down the road.”

“Just had the most incredible lunch at Damascena Coffee House in Birmingham! I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was absolutely bursting with flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and seasoned beautifully, and the accompanying sauces and fresh vegetables were a delightful complement. It was easily the best shawarma I've had in ages! To drink, I paired it with their black tea with mint and honey. It was the perfect refreshing and sweet accompaniment to the savory shawarma. The mint was fresh and fragrant, and the honey added just the right touch of sweetness. It was so soothing and delicious. The atmosphere in Damascena is always so warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I can't recommend Damascena enough – I'll definitely be back soon!”

“Not sure how secret of a gem this spot is considering it seems to always be busy but it’s not hard to see why… the food is incredible!!! We got this tower of food for 2 including a drink each for £35 which included an array of hot food, fruit and their incredible French toast!! Everything seems to be halal and the chicken sausages are absolutely delicious!! The potatoes are also a must try!!! I’m excited to come back and try their other dishes after having this full taster experience Service a bit slow and our drinks came after the food (about 20 mins after ordering) but so did most people’s although the food is such good value for money we are planning on coming back soon Definitely worth visiting 💕”

“Came across this coffee place by accident. I had looked it up before but not visited. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic pour-over coffee and the best cinnamon bun ever. Nice comfortable seats with plenty of room. There were quite a few people there and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommended.”
